    I hired the vendor “Flippin Fabulous” August 2024 for a party occurring in June 2025. On April 28th, the owner reached out to tell me they need to cancel their services due to a permit issue.
    When they “attempted” to return my money of $540, it showed pending in my bank account but then disappeared the following day. I reached out to my bank and asked why did this occur. They explained to me that in these cases, it means either the person didn’t have enough money in their account to provide the refund, they canceled the refund, or they didn’t properly do the refund process. When I reached out to Nina, the owner she said she would look into it. She said if I did not receive the money by May 15th she would simply ***** it to me. She then said she needs to do a reversal of funds to her account (even though I never received it to begin with) which takes 7-10 business days. On May 31st, When the same thing happened again, I asked for her to ***** it to me. She told me she can’t do that. I was confused because she said it could earlier. It’s now been a month and just a headache. I provided bank statements showing I did not receive the issue but she said the issue is on my end, even though my bank said otherwise. I am just at a lose. She now wants to involve CPA or an attorney, but I told her I feel like I’m being bamboozled. I explained I’m a new mom, funds are tight and I would like my money back as she canceled her services a month before my event.
    She could easily do a cashiers check from the business account.
    I feel so lost.
