Bought 2 tiny homes so i could finally have a place on my land upstate, and mostly because my dad is a 100% service connected veteran. He is legally blind and as many severe medical issues. These cabins we for him to get out of the house hes been stuck in for 30+ years unable to drive. The idea was the most affordable way to have a safe year round place to stay. My sister and my dads only grandchild live up in ********** and my dads land is 20 minutes from them. My sister never comes down to visit. My dad is 80 and not doing well i don't know how much time we have left with him. The units arrived 100% unfinished and uninhabitable. I did not get what i was promised shown and told. I worked with the owner of Woodstock Microhomes over a year we had been friends i regarded him as a friend as we both had similar visions. Paid him over $90,000 dollars, the units have been sitting since January uninhabitable nothing is finished or connected. He hasn't made one attempt to finish anything. An entire year has been wasted and that time my dad is getting weaker. He wont do anything unless i pay him another $6,600 dollars. I had helped him with so many things as he was starting this, i've never been shown the warranty for the units. He says some of the items that need to be fixed will be covered by the warranty, but refuse to show it to me. State agencies have been involved and told him specifically that what he is selling to the public is actually illegal as he has no license and or whatever the necessary things he would need filed with the state to sell anything for people to live in. He profited i the 10's of thousands of dollars from me and now has blocked my number. He is a fake and a scam watch out. Worst part is my dad is still stuck at home and the units are worthless. Attached list is what I sent *** the owner, he then added to it and agreed to fix it all. I have all the emails as proof. I do not want his business name used on the news it will be free advertising
