    If I could leave less than a 1 star review I would. I ordered my loupes for dental hygiene from this company. Of course when my loupes arrived they were not make properly and I could not see out of them. I sent back for repair and when they arrived back it had looked as if they had been ran over by a truck. I then contacted the local representative and their manager and it took them weeks to get back to me. They only wanted to offer me an exchange for a different pair rather than a refund which I was entitled too. I finally got a return label. It took almost two month to get a refund check for my return. I called numerous times over the weeks and had been told my check was in the mail when it in fact had not been mailed. Stay far away from this company!!!!!

    Returned a pair of loupes that arrived bent. It has been 5 months with no refund. I call at least twice a week and they always claim that the check is on the supervisors desk. Horrible.

    I have been purchasing my eyeglasses from Design For Vision in ******* for over 14 years. They are absolutely the best for selection, advice (Miss *******) and the equivalent of ****************** Example: Recently, I saw ***************************** sporting a pair of rimless glasses in a *********************** movie from the ****s. I sent a film clip to Miss ******* to see if she could find the same or similar frames. Nothing is impossible for the intrepid Miss *******. Lo and behold, after searching the internet, no easy ask, she found the same frames for me. Then, she proceeded to put a set of gold to brown tinted mirror transition lenses in my spiffy new frames. Wow! Whos better than Miss ******* when it comes to eyeglass design and creativity?My whole family visits Miss ******* for eyeglasses, and I enthusiastically recommend her to all my friends. In fact, there is a rumor that she designs all of ********************* eyeglasses. This, however, needs to be verified.??If you want something special in a new trendy frame with some creative lenses, go see Miss *******, and her faithful sidekick ***. Any visit to Design For Vision is pleasant! **************************************

    Finally cancelled my new loupes order after ************************************************** rep to 8 calls. Rep did finally return my call when I threatened to cancel. Put "rush" on it and supposed to have in 2 weeks. 3 weeks later no communication so I cancelled. Some of the worse customer service I have ever experienced.

    I cant tell you how FN frustrating it is dealing with Designs for Vision. No one answers the phone , they have some recording system that gives you 8-*********, but when you choose customer service, you again get a recording to leave a detailed message , your phone number etc you do and you never get a call back . What the h*** is going on with this company as it has really gone down hill . It is 10/25/23 and I have been a customer since ****** find their battery packs are not working very well and I have tried to get a new small light that attaches to the top of the frames , and the cord runs from the small like to the battery pack where it connects with a USB port .This new small light is going to be about $600 which is a ridiculous price for a small light . I have been without a light going in 3 weeks . They said there was some kind of computer problem and it was going to take two weeks . Its now going on 3 weeks and I get no return call .You have to not try to get to customer service , you choose the billing department and there you get a live person . I will have to do that tomorrow. But I want them to patch me into someone who answers the phone , do not let then put you back into the bottomless pit of the customer service department, well, youll never get a call back. I have 4 1/2 power loupes and Im forced to get their light . I would stay away from DFV and go with a better specialty head lamp company.I am going to see on Amazon if I can get a more reasonable light for my loupes .Very unhappy dealing with DFV, this company has really gone downhill , stay away and go with another company.***

    The company has a monopoly on the magnifiers I use as a blind teacher. They used to charge me $35 for the flimsy plastic frames, but now they charge over $300 for the same frames. I have used their magnifiers for 30 years. There has never been an improvement in the quality of the frames or magnifiers. My older ones, say five years old, are so cloudy I cannot see anything with them. I pay over $1,000.00 per pair of Clear Image II glasses with 8x lens and high-powered 20x magnifier built in.

    Bad product, bad costumer service. I bought Design For Vision loupe and light. When I received my order, the light was a wrong one and the battery did not charge even after eight hours. I had double vision. The loupes were wobbly. The representative told me to move the loupes to and from each other in order to eliminate the double image. The loupe wiggles all the time so even after I readjust it, the double image returns. I emailed and called to see how they can fix it, but the representative never answered. It takes a lot of my time every day as I constantly have to readjust the loupes to eliminate the double vision throughout the day. Lately, the wire became loose, so I emailed a few times to buy a new wire or if necessary, battery and wire. I did not receive a reply. I thought the representative was ignoring me again, so I bought a new light from a different company which cost me a couple hundred dollars. After a while, the representative emailed me and asked what did I want and that she had been on a holiday. Imagine a representative that did not set up an answering machine indicating that she will be out of office. Another issue is that the box they gave is as big as small suitcase, yet it is not practical, as it impossible to fit both the loupe and the light on it inside the box. Another issue, is that they were supposed to write my name on the box, but they did not.

    I sent my loupes out 3 weeks ago. I was told that the turnaround time was 7 days and yet it hasn't been shipped yet. I only needed 2 screws replace. I'm not sure why it takes more than 3 weeks to do that.

    Never again.. far too many disappointing issues to list. I hope Designs for Vision gets their act together or they will go under.
