I hired Mike T***** of Quality remodeling and construction on March 6, 2022, at the price $22,686.94 for the addition and $2242.76 for a carport at ** ******** **** ********* *** *****. and I down-paid $8,450. He misconducted in so many situations. 1. He proceeded with the job without getting a building permit and pour the concrete into the foundation against the code, even though I did not agree with it. 2. He measured wrong the footer drifting more than 2 inches from the wall and he accepted his mistake blaming the mason he sub-contracted. Finally, he removed the part of the footers and told me to do the right thing. 3. He accepted his mistake and accused Covid-19 that did not affect his mistake. 4. He discriminated against me telling me 'you people", which I stored on my smartphone. 5. He steadily asked me for more money to resume the work even though the work itself could not be resumed. 6. When I applied for the foundation inspection, he did not show up on purpose and the City of Rochester inspector did not pass it. 7. I asked him to cancel this project many times, and he did not. 8. Further he asked for more money and even split the elevated cost. 9. He ripped off the siding and left it uncovered, so I did the exposed portion with ***** by myself. 10. I strongly ask him to refund the money, because he should not have started without a building permit.
