My family was planning a move from Florida to Oklahoma. My husband is a disabled veteran and we decided we needed to be closer to family so he found this company and thought they could help us with our needs. He was assured by Riley that we would be able to cancel if something happened without having any monies taken from our account. Our move wasn’t panning out the way we hoped so we pulled the plug and decided not to uproot our children right now so my husband called yesterday to cancel. Plenty of time before our July 20th move. As soon as my husband calls and cancels, the company debits our account almost $1400. We both tried calling and each time the customer service was horrible!! The lady I spoke with was just downright rude and condescending. We live solely on disability pay and cannot afford to live without this money to feed our children. THEY DONT CARE! She stated, they wouldn’t change the rules for the president, which was just laughable. I mean my husband fought for this country and is completely disabled and this is how they treat us! Absolutely disgusting!

This business is a scam. They lead you on to thinking you are getting something that you are not. You feel pressured and when you sign on the line they take your deposit and there’s no cancellation or refund. They tell you they can move your items in 6 days but cannot guarantee that because of traffic. The honest truth is in the fine print. They are not required to deliver your items for up to 30 days. Your things will be god knows where until they decide to deliver. It’s all about their schedule. They tell you they don’t know who the carrier is and that’s not true either. They work hand in hand with US Interstate and Rail. My house got a sickness so I told them not to come because I did not want to expose them. The pick up guys said thank you for being thoughtful. The company told me no refund of my deposit. So I guess one good deed does not deserve another. This whole experience with this company was dishonest. Read the fine print before you sign, it’s not what they tell you over the phone. I should have trusted my gut.

This company is a complete scam. We were given a $3,700 quote to begin with for a 3 bed/2bath/2car garage 1100 mile move from OH to FL. An $1150 non-refundable deposit was required. Upon taking our final inventory list, the price increased by $2,600. We were advised that this price would not increase unless we were to add anything, which we did not. Our inventory list was complete, down to bedside lamps & counted boxes. Upon arrival to our home, (by an unmarked, poor condition pick-up truck and trailer), the movers took video of our belongings and sent to their company who called me and increased the price by another $3,000, stating that, “unfortunately the quality department underestimated the square footage we would need@. (Based on video of belongings, not on actual square footage of space taken in truck). We (and ALL of our belongings) left OH on May 27, 2023. We were told by moving company (******** Movers), that they would arrive in FL by May 31st. By that date, we were in our new home. We were told our belongings had not even been loaded onto a truck or assigned a driver. We had to sleep on air mattresses & borrow essentials to live on. (Bedding, towels, dishes, pots & pans, silverware, etc). We were called about 2 weeks later and informed that there would be an additional $2,000 “shuttle fee” to deliver our belongings to our home, or we needed to rent a ****** truck for our belongings to be delivered to and unload it ourselves. We were forced to ***** this money to a personal account and there is no record of this transaction on any of our paperwork. We had only what we traveled with. We went without until the moving company arrived a few days later with a complete inventory manifest that was signed by the driver stating that all of those items were on his truck. Once the truck was empty, we were informed that, to the driver’s surprise, as well as our own, 2/3 of that inventory was indeed not on that truck, and remained in a warehouse in OH.

Avoided a major ripoff. I called this company to assist with an unplanned interstate move request for June 2023. Company kept going back and forth with "dispatch" to verify a truck was available for the date and time of the move. The original quoted rate dropped by several hundred dollars to help them secure our business. While talking with the company, they stated that the money to collect by the delivery drivers on both ends of the move would need cash, postal money order or a cash app transaction. (Apparently credit and debit cards were not accepted, which raised a red flag). NOTE: Other moves I have been involved with accepted credit cards without issues; Atlas moving company to be more specific. When I asked for a little more time to investigate the company and verify BBB ratings, he changed his tone and wanted us to make a decision right away. He then blamed us for calling him late in the month for this move. His tone changed more as we continued questioning him about specifics of the company and I doubled that this transaction would be completed. He finally told me to just hang up the phone and he would go on with his business day. (NOTE: This company is a broker, not the actual moving company that was responsible for any moves). We hung up the phone, checked the BBB rating, which shows this business not BBB accredited. We then checked reviews and were glad we hung up.

Thank you for your feedback. It’s rather curious you would give the company a one-star review for trying to help you with your move and earn your business.
