I contacted Zeev (Dragon Computer Tech) on 1/17/25 inquiring if he could fix my laptop. I dropped it off the next day at his business address/residence. He said verbally that he would likely have it ready for pickup the next day or within the next few business days. He did not give me a physical receipt, but I have emails, text messages, and phone calls confirming that he had/has my laptop in his possession. Every time I would call or email to check the status of my laptop over the next 3 months (it is now April 28th, last contact was April 25th), he would either say that it was almost ready, that he didn't physically have it but his component technician that lives/travels out of the city had it, that he was waiting on a part, and more often than not "I'll update you tomorrow,". I have evidence of all of these correspondences. I did not record the phone calls but I have them timestamped in my phone. I physically went to his residence/work address on April 25th after giving warning in advance. He was not physically home. His son called Zeev on his cell phone. Zeev instructed his son to check the basement. His son could not find it. Zeev then talked to me again (speakerphone via his son's phone) and said that the laptop is currently in pieces and it's his policy not to return equipment in that state. I demanded firmly that I need it no matter what state it was in. He then promised to put it together and bring it to me that night (April 25th). He couldn't find it, offered me a 'traded-in laptop out of good faith', I declined as I had no idea what he was trying to give me, the specs, and the product was vastly different. He then accused me of somehow robbing the laptop out of his home/work and then scheming against him somehow. I don't own a car and ****** to his residence twice (once to drop it off and again to attempt pickup), and my **** and ****** location data can confirm this. He refuses to talk to me further and has not produced my laptop or compensated me.

Called business and this is what was relay:I called the consumer and advised her that her devised was found and she can come and pick it up.  The mother board is dead and she advised me that she did not have the money to repair and she told me to hold onto it and it has been 1 yr since then.  I advised her that she can come and get it or I will drop it off and I have not heard back from her.

Hello. He said that he has my laptop but due to the timeline and all other information he most recently provided in his response I believe that this is a lie and that he likely scrapped it for parts. He is likely just trying to say the right things for this to go away. He also told me that he doesn't have it when I last asked for it.
