    Quality is only skin deep! My *** ****** required a new rear quarter panel and bumper after an accident. Vogel's repairs looked great when I picked up the vehicle however the poor quality underneath was soon evident. The first problem was the tailgate not opening! The location of the latch stud on the bed wall had not been properly placed to let the lock latch fully disengage when handle lifted (this they repaired after a trip back)! The 2nd major issue was not being able to lower the spare tire. The spare and it's winch is accessed via a tube connected to back bumper and this tube was misaligned when the new bumper was installed so jack stem could not be connected to spare winch. This 2nd significant malfunction was too much. What reputable business would send a vehicle out the door without testing basic functionality.
    When you have poor quality, you can at least save the customer experience with an appropriate response. That would not include "these tailgate locks are prone to breaking", "we can't look at it till next week", "we won't know if we caused it until we look at it"
