October 21, 2022- Propane account set up through Nolan Fuels. They charged my ******** ******* $239.50 for estimated price to fill October 27, 2022 -Nolan Fuels charged my ******** ******* $174.91 for tank rental/deposit January 19, 2024- I called Nolan Fuel to cancel my account. Spoke with Liz. Was told that I had a positive balance on my account of $154.91 and was owed this amount after 2 years, of $10 tank rental. She took my address to have check sent to my new address. February 5, 2024- I called Nolan Fuel, explained who I was and was transferred to manager Robert Nolan, I was on hold over 7 minutes before Robert answered, Robert did agree that the company owed me money and would be mailing it, confirming address. February 23, 2024- I called Nolan Fuel for an update on if my check had been shipped. Spoke with Liz who had no updates but also told me that it would take 8 weeks to receive a check. March 4, 2024- I called Nolan Fuel and was told by Liz that Robert was on vacation and would not be there the rest of the week. March 20, 2024- I called Nolan Nuel and spoke with Kristin who took my name and number. Told me Robert was not in office and did not know when he would be back. This company is now dodging my phone calls and I am spinning my wheels. Please help. This money would be appreciated by this single mother. Thank you.Business response

This company is the worst in the area. Been with them for many years. Paid for my propane delivery upfront over 400.00. At the end of January 24, 2024 I asked them to pick up tank and supply a refund of the unused product. They came picked the tank up ASAP. Sent me an invoice that X amount of dollars are due back as a refund. Well here it is the middle of March and still no payment. You call and get the owner is out of the office or the owner is on vacation. If they could send the invoice a refund check should have been sent with it. Still waiting. It's nice that he went on vacation but yet I stillBusiness response

We moved into **** ***** ***** ** *********** ** ***** back in March of 2020. We had two propane tanks that were in our landlords name, we were responsible for propane and she was responsible for problems and maintenance of the tanks. After a few months we started to notice a smell of propane, a hissing sound coming from the tanks, and we were using too much propane way too fast. We lived in an 800 square foot apartment and kept the temperature low due to how fast propane was being used. We had to rely on multiple space heaters for warmth. We reported the problem to Nolan Propane approximately four times. Each time they said they sent someone out to look at it, we were never home when the inspections were performed. Each time they said there was no problem. One day a friend came over to look at the tanks and a leak was immediately found. The company was called immediately and it was confirmed by them that there was a leak. We were never reimbursed for lost propane. A few weeks later we noticed a similar problem, but noticed a smell of propane in our stairwell and inside the apartment. Nolan Propane was notified multiple times but refused to send someone out to inspect the issue due to new tanks being installed. After last contact with Nolan Propane the owner had gotten on the phone was being very unprofessional. Accusing me of trying to get "free shit" from them and told us to stop contacting them. We continued to spend thousands of dollars a month in propane during a very cold winter. Luckily no one suffered any injuries or health problems due to the negligence presented by Nolan Propane. We fell so far behind on the propane bill from the leak that they would no longer deliver us propane until the bill was settled. My wife and I worked 5 jobs between the 2 of us to make up for the thousands of dollars wasted. To this day we still owe and have been paying in small amounts that we can afford. They are now threatening to take us to court.Business response

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,OUR PREVIOUS CUSTOMER, **** *******, DID MOVE INTO LOCATION 4847 SR 32,GREENVILLE, NY IN MARCH 2020. THlS IS A VERY, VERY OLD BUILDING WlTH VERY LITTLE INSULATION. THE CUSTOMER WAS CONCERNED ABOUT HIS USAGE AT THE TIME HE WAS AT THE LOCATION. OUR HISTORY ON PRIOR TENANTS SHOWED VERY VERY HIGH USAGE.AT THE TIME THAT CUSTOMER RESIDED AT THlS LOCATION WE DID MULTIPLE LEAK TESTS AND EVERYTHING CHECKED OUT AT NO CHARGE TO THE CUSTOMER. WlTH CUSTOMER COMPLAINING SEVERAL TIMES WE OFFERED AND DID PICK UP THE TANKS THAT WERE THERE,CREDITED THE CUSTOMER FOR THE PROPANE IN THE TANKS AND GAVE THE CUSTOMER 2 FULL TANKS FREE. CUSTOMER ALWAYS CALLED WlTH LOW PERCENTAGE AND WE WERE ALWAYS DELIVERING ON THAT SAME DAY WlTH NO ADDED FEES. WE ALSO WERE CALLED TO START THE FURNACE AND AGAIN, NEVER CHARGED FOR THAT. WlTH THE DIFFERENCE OF OPINION, WE FEEL THAT WE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR THlS CUSTOMER. WE NEVER RECEIVED A PAYMENT FROM CUSTOMER AFTER OCTOBER 2021 AND WAS NEVER GIVEN A NEW FORWARDING ADDRESS THE CUSTOMER AND I HAD A CONVERSATION TODAY TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. HE HAS AGREED TO MAKE PAYMENTS ON THE ACCOUNT MONTHLY AND WE HAVE AGREED TO TAKEOFF HALF THE FINANCE CHARGES. WE DISCUSSED EVERYTHING THAT TRANSPIRED WHILE AT THlS LOCATION AND TALKED ABOUT HOW BAD THE BUILDING WAS FOR HEATING. WE HAVE WORKED THlS OUT AND CUSTOMER SEEMED GRACIOUS AND APPRECIATIVE WlTH THE PAYMENT PLAN.THIS COMPLAINT IS RESOLVED BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES AS LONG AS CUSTOMER CONTINUES TO MAKE HIS PAYMENTS.SINCERELY,SHERRI N*****, OFFICE MANAGERCustomer response
