    Me and my family were taking the ************* Ferry on 12/25/24 out of Port **** to Bridgeport on the 12:15 PM ferry ticket # ******* and return back the same day on the 8:15 PM ferry out of Bridgeport same ticket #. When getting off the ferry in Bridgeport when the crew member was not paying attention in directing the cars getting off the ferry and my SUV was damaged on the front panel of the passenger side of my SUV. One of the crew members wrote an incident and accident report and took a picture of the damage. saying it was their fault, and he gave me ******* ***** card to follow up to file the claim and said she would get back to me with in 72 hours. I have not heard back since and have left several emails. When I called the ferry, they were rude and would not give me her contact information. I did some research and did find her extension on the Board of directors the greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce website and left her phone messages to no avail wanting to rectify the matter.

    On Friday 11/24, I took the 4:45pm Ferry from Bridgeport to Port Jefferson. While onboard, a staff member asked me to return to my car to show be I had a flat tire. He said it was caused by a ferry rope holdown which I ran over while boarding. He took pictures, and gave me a business card of their claims person. After docking, I drove off the Ferry with a flat tire. I called AAA or placed my donut on the car and drove home.On Friday 12/1 , I had my local service station order a new tire and place it on the car at a cost of $303.06.I filed a claim via email on 12/6 with a copy of my invoice. On 12/7, ************************* responded stating she would send me a release form by the end of that day.     At this time, my complaint, ID ******** regarding Port Jefferson Ferry has been resolved. On Friday 1/26, I received a check in the full amount for the damage caused to my tire while being loaded onto the Bridgeport to Port Jefferson Ferry.

    Date of transaction 7/6/2023 Made ferry reservations online for 6am ,my wife got ill the night before .Called to cancel reservations that night ,[you can't cancel online] no answer . Called when they opened in the morning at 6am .I was told to send an email to customer service .Sent email and was refused a refund or a credit to be used at a later date .See the attached copies of the emails .
