      All of these reviews are spot on. Nothing but excuses and broken equipment. Took me and my neighbor for about $1,000. We had to finish our jobs. Never answers his phone, or letter sent to his house recently. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but this is the worst I have ever hired. I noticed the last bad review was in August of 2023 and thought anyone considering using him should see he still refuses to reply and make things right. I made the mistake of paying him in full before it was finished. I will be filing a claim on him, just to make his life difficult as he has done to others.

      I had to leave one star because it is not an option to leave. The owner of this company stopped by our house because he seemed dead ash trees in our backyard he quoted us and gave us a business proposal on June 14th 2023 today is August 1st 2023 we agreed to take five dead ash trees down he would leave the wood and take the brush and rake the lawn this company showed up three and a half weeks after they said they would start they worked here for one morning and the equipment they rented supposedly broke down so they had it bring it back to the rental company for the lift to get it fixed it has been over a month since we have heard from them they left a mess in our yard they took limbs down piled it in our front driveway and left piles of limbs all through our backyard which killed our grass we planned on getting married at the end of September in our backyard them plans now changed because of this company thank God we didn't give them any money! They showed up for half a day and it's been excuses after excuses when they were answering the phone so now we are left to clean up our backyard all by ourselves and they took two half trees down would not recommend at all

      This guy is a thief. Took advantage of a 93 year old woman in Canandaigua, NY. He promised this lady he would take down a large tree in her backyard and clean up the entire yard afterwards. He cut down the tree and took all the wood from the tree of value and left everything else in stacked piles in her yard and left. He told her he couldn’t use the rest of the wood because it had lead in it, another lie. He took all the wood that could possibly have any metal in it. Do not let Donald B**** on your property period. This thief has countless complaints on the BBB website and from our experience will continue to gain even more. Beware of Donald B**** and Best Choice Tree Service and Roofing from Hannibal, NY. Shameless human being and scammer !!!

      DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! Scammer from the first day. Three of us (neighbors) were taken for thousands of dollars for work that he started and never completes. Starts a job and never heard from again. I signed a contract for 50% deposit and rest upon completion. First day was middle of June and a of today, 6 weeks later, I have a giant pile of debris, 2 of the three trees partially done, and a dead lawn because he never picks up anything. He actually has had 5 excuses not to return. He owns a pickup and rents everything else. He actually came back and asked for more money because "He could really use it". I told him when the job is completed as per the contract. I have pictures from the mess he made if I can attach to this review. He has his son and a couple less than smart helpers. There is a pattern among all the complaints if you read them. So I repeat DON'T HIRE THIS SCAM ARTIST FOR ANYTHING.!
