1 starI have been a patient at this office for over six years. Since the birth of my son in *************, I have not received proper care. I was advised after delivery that I required a Rhogam injection. It was not administered at the hospital or at my six-week postpartum visit, despite my informing both facilities. After discovering I was pregnant again, I scheduled an appointment to confirm. Upon arrival, I was incorrectly booked for another postpartum visit. The doctor confirmed my pregnancy, estimated I was 23 weeks along, and referred me to a specialist for unexplained vascular findings. She also stated termination could be performed that same day. At the specialist appointment, I was told I had a subchorionic hematoma, would require a Rhogam injection to terminate, and that it would resolve on its own. This directly contradicted prior information. My appointment was again incorrectly scheduled. I sought a second opinion. Within one week, another institution confirmed Idid not require a Rhogam injection to terminate, was actually 7 weeks 4 days pregnant not 23 weeks as Garden OBGYN stated & had suffered a ***************.These discrepancies raise serious concerns regarding the accuracy of diagnoses, failure to follow medical protocol, lack of informed consent, and repeated administrative errors. This experience caused severe emotional harm, compounded my postpartum recovery, and eroded my trust in medical care.Review fromMarlena M

1 starI would give zero stars if I could.1. The office admin team and practitioners are virtually impossible to get in touch with--the general line listed on the website is not an active number, and the numbers provided by the support chat are inconsistent or mismatched to the office you're trying to reach. Regardless, no one picks up the phone.2. My radiology report came back with major concerns and required a biopsy referral-- this was visible to me several days after my radiology appointment, which means it was visible to my Garden practitioner as well. It took over ten days for anyone from the office to even attempt reaching out to me. When I finally did start receiving calls from the practitioner, it was an incessant game of phone tag that never actually resulted in speaking with her.3. I was promised a biopsy order via my patient portal that I never received.4. I was billed for lab testing, only to receive a message that my bloodwork had LEAKED in the lab and was rendered unusable. 5. I continue to receive additional bills with no explanation, that don't correlate to a specific service. When I call the billing department during standard business hours, my call is either disconnected or I am transferred to a ************ is frustrating, disrespectful and honestly quite dangerous for a medical business to function this inefficiently. I have been mid cancer-scare for almost three months and have reverted to working with an entirely new medical team.Review fromNatalie S

1 starMy experience with Garden OB/GYN was incredibly frustrating and deeply concerning, primarily due to severe administrative and management issues. While the medical providers I saw seemed competent, the overall office operations, communication, and patient coordination were profoundly lacking. From my initial appointment, I encountered a relentless series of problems. There were multiple appointment cancellations, including crucial follow-ups and procedures, often with very little notice. I even experienced being directed to arrive for an early appointment when the office wasn't yet open, leading to unnecessary travel and wasted time.A major point of concern was when a time-sensitive procedure was abruptly canceled just days before it was scheduled. This cancellation was due to a factor that should have been identified much earlier in the process, as the office had all my necessary information. This oversight caused significant stress, wasted personal time off, and created an unacceptable delay in my care.Furthermore, the office's "concierge" and management services were consistently unhelpful and unprofessional. I was repeatedly instructed to handle tasks that should have been managed by their staff, such as contacting my insurance for provider affiliations or chasing down critical medical documents that were promised to be sent. Even a billing error for pre-operative services had to be personally rectified by me after their assurances of handling it proved false. This continuous string of administrative errors, lack of proactive support, and poor communication severely disrupted my continuity of care. It left me feeling disregarded, overwhelmed, and anxious during a very stressful health journey.Ultimately, I had to seek care with an outside provider to receive the timely and coordinated treatment I desperately needed. Garden OB/GYN needs to urgently address and retrain its call center, management, and concierge staff.Review fromRuth S

1 starThis is the worst place to visit. They label you high risk and stress you out over nothing so they can overcharge your insurance. You cant get anyone on the phone because theyre using ****** voice numbers to communicate with you , even going as far as to ask you personal medical questions on an unsecured , unofficial phone line with absolutely no clue who youre even speaking to . Run far from this placeReview fromYanira M

1 starDo not be misled by their biased 5-star reviews on their website, I chose this practice due to their "high ratings" just to be treated as a number and not a patient. Since moving out of state I had my previous OBGYN send my medical records and lab work to *******************************************. ******************************************* confirmed receipt of my file prior to my first visit. During my visit with ********** she did not review my file and was not prepared (first red flag). She asked if there were any abnormalities with my blood work and genetic testing which I confirmed that all were negative at the end of my visit I was take to get labs done, come to find out she had me repeat all my bloodwork and genetic testing (which i did not consent to). I found this out because now I'm stuck with a $1,650 LabCorp bill because my insurance denied the claim since the genetic testing was deemed medically unnecessary- as stated, i did not consent to this and i had told ********** that this has already been done with my previous OB. It's been over 2 months going back and forth with their billing department to get this resolved, but of course they don't care because they are not the ones responsible to pay. The wait time to be seen with an appointment is absurd. I've waited over 2.5 hours to be seen. I would have to take an entire day off from work because Garden OBGYN over books. Getting in contact with a doctor directly on the phone is impossible. *** are only given the office number (if they can give you the correct one) or have you call their customer service line that is handled by a call center and still can never get in contact with the Dr. *** have to resort to your patient portal inbox which can take days for a response. I've raised concerns about my health condition and symptoms that had developed and worsened with time just to be treated passively and be dismissed. If it weren't for my family who convinced me to go to the hospital would have not known that i was high risk and my condition was severeReview fromLianna M

1 starThis office doesn’t even deserve one star. This is the worst OB/GYN experience I’ve ever had. I’m 14 weeks pregnant and was in severe pain, so I decided to call the massapequa office to see if there was any over the counter medication I can take to relieve my pain. The receptionist laughed at me and couldn’t contain her laughter. After confronting her about laughing at a distressed patient, she responded “I’m not laughing at you, think whatever you want but I was coughing”. She was very clearly laughing and showed zero empathy.
Aside from the horrendous staff they have at their front desk, Dr. Are acts as though she couldn’t even be bothered when speaking to patients. She has you sitting in her office in silence and you have to ask a bunch of questions to get anything from her. Again, no empathy or bedside manner, nor does she give valuable information into your health or your baby’s health.
Last but definitely not least, I’ve had to call this office and the office manager several times to have the coding for my appointments corrected. I received countless bills that were over $100 due to them not coding the appointments/sonograms correctly. They just want your money, they don’t care at all about their patients.Review fromJomara V

1 starThis office gave me 5 false diagnosis for test results I never took. They told me they would remove the false reading off my chart by Monday I have not received an update nor has the false results been removed. I have tried contacting the office numerous times and left a voicemail with no response back. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the lack of urgency and organization this company has being that they have committed medical fraud billing my insurance for an exam I never was present for and placing someone elses swab results into my chart.Review fromJasmine A.

1 starI received a call 1 1/2 months after I went in for my test and the lab department screwed up, they called me to set up an appointment to have me go in asap because of the results I received.I called in to set up the appointment and provided my new insurance info, and the representative from the call center even reconfirmed they accepted my new insurance. I finally get to my appointment just for them to inform me they DO NOT take my new insurance. Completely negligent towards my lab results and towards providing the correct info on insurance eligibility. This practice always has different Drs their communication skills are HORRIBLE and I always had to repeat myself because its clear they do not take notesReview fromSharon C

1 starI attended the office at ****************** *** for annual Pap smear. I mentioned that I had been getting the hot flashes and thought menopause may be creeping in for me. Attending lady said they could do a simple blood test to check hormone levels. Like the other complaints here nobody even bothered to call with the lab results, I chased them several times until someone eventually called. Then to my shock I received 3 bills, one from them around $90, two from ******* which totaled nearly $3,000!!!! Of which I owed $450!! This was never mentioned or explained that a simple blood test would be so grossly expensive. Just an absolute scam and I wont be going back. Stay away from this place, read the reviews and go somewhere reputable.
