      I Will Never Recommend or Use this Company Again! *** lack of empathy and proper **************** skills disgusts me! I purchased my home 6 years ago and was referred to this company by the family of the previous owners. I chose this company based on that recommendation, instead of using ********, whom I previously had at my prior address. My boiler, purchased from General, caught fire the day before Christmas **** *** COLDEST Day of the ***** Thank God my Entire Home wasn't affected, but for Christmas and New Years, my family and I had No Heat or Hot water. And to make matters worse, we all got sick, including my mother, who is a senior. ** the prior owners purchased the boiler before I moved in 6 years ago (Within the 10 year warranty), they did Not honor the warranty. So they expected me to purchase a new boiler for over $12k, I needed time to think and process this with the cost of oil increasing. Long story short, they charged me $600 for canceling my contract although, I only had 1 month left on it and it caught fire. *** Customer ************* ***** was very Rude and Condescending when I asked for the fee to be pro-rated or consider the years of service this home had with the company. ***y showed no compassion and no empathy, I am extremely disappointed. This home serviced that company for over 60 years, and I was a loyal customer for the last 6 years, for them to not show me family and I respect or look at the outstanding circumstances is outrageous.
