    My car was towed by Moreno Towing and wasn't released until I satisfied an egregious fee. I was erroneously charged for 4 days worth of storage (the car was there 2 days), plus all types of fees and the owner didn't go through the proper channel of charging ***'s roadside assist partner (Verity? ) company - although I'm pretty sure they were paid by them and lied about it. They extorted me and they did not take my car to *** where it should have gone. They lied and said if I was considering going through insurance, that the car would need to be examined by the insurance adjuster there and not at ***, this was false I later learned. They also filed a claim with my insurance company without asking me or having my authority, they then harassed the insurance company and inflated the cost of everything. When my car was towed Saturday 11/25, they said it was a $175 tow fee plus the cost of gas per mile ($8) then they proceeded to charge me $475 tow fee, a flat rate mile fee of $175 and that's only just the beginning. Also they do not have a store front or proper storage facility - my car was not locked in a lot and shouldn't have incurred storage fees for this reason. They said they're a family business of 22 years, they're actually in business since July 2020. Everything about them was false. I took screen shots of my bill on the employees phone while the owner ***** was texting him NOT to show me anything - because the bill was so grossly inflated. The owner also wouldn't provide me with a receipt that I could submit *** for a refund. The owner also said his credit card machine was down, not true. He wanted to double dip and get paid from me (Zelle or cash) and from the ************ assist company. He charged an impound fee, winching, labor, fuel surcharge, admin fee, pull out fee, tow/hook fee, loaded hook mileage fee, and uploaded /enroute mileage fee - all nonsense and not ever disclosed.
