I was getting garbage disposal through ******* disposal, they sold the business to K and D. We had service for almost a year. Then suddenly our trash pick up stopped. Then without any contact they picked up our garbage bins. Then we received a bill in the mail for $255.00 when previously we were paying $38 a month. When I tried to contact them via phone.bthe announced they no longer service the flint street area. Now mind you, we live in a apartment building. With other tenants, who all still have trash pick up from them. The lady on the phone was very rude. Would not explain the outstanding bill, even though they had not been picking up our trash. She said we no longer service that area, and hung up on me. They never contacted us about a price increase. Why are they continuing to service our neighbors but not us. We pulled the toters due to non payment, ******* had informed all of their clients on December 1, 2021 that we would be taking over and that a bill would be generated. All of ******* Disposal customers rates remained the same (no price increase) We have had several issues with this location and because of the rudeness and confusion over who is paid and not paid, we have decided to pull all toters out at the end of the of March.Customer response

Better Business Bureau: without even notifying us, and what issues I would like to know because when *******'s ran it we paid our bill on time every month. When we called to figure out why the bill was $255 we were then told they no longer service our area. If anyone was rude it was the woman who works their customer service. If they no longer want to service us due to issues then I would like to be informed of what these issues are?? I had no contract with K and D I owe them nothing. I wanted to get things worked out and payment maid and woman was rude and hung up on me so I could not do so. She did not say because of something you did, she said they no longer service the area. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. On the First of December, we purchased *******'s contract with this apartment building and everyone was given a bill in Dec due on Jan 1st. Due to non payment from this consumer, we suspended service. When we stopped service this customer called and starting being belligerent and harassing us and also started putting his garbage in other tenants bins. This building has 4 apartments in it and when 3 apartments pay and 1 doesn't, it becomes a problem. We decided to discontinue service for the whole building.
