I signed up with Calibrate and paid in full in February 2023. Calibrates contract states that if the company is unable to secure medication for a $25 copay within 90 days, I am due a refund less the $250 lab fees. Calibrate has not secured the medication and has not responded to my numerous messages seeking a refund.Customer Answer

This business failed originally for 2 months to file an extension of a prior authorization and ignored my requests for support until I nagged enough to get it fixed, they lied to me and said it was the insurance company taking 2 months. I know this to be false. This caused me to miss a large part of the medication schedule. Then the medication no longer was effective, and I needed some documentation signed for a trip I had upcoming. I reached out in early July for support, it is now a full month later, and still zero response to offer support or when I reached our for a refund no response to that either. Their medical person replied once to say they have no time to reply now but we can talk about meds when there is time and no offer to sign the paperwork or even complete something similar. I have gained back the weight lost from the stress this has caused not to mention I still do not have the paper work I needed signed for my trip that is now only a few weeks away. No one replys, not on email, not on phone, I even tried going through ********** nothing. No one from this place will answer anything. It's a total scam, with a fancy scale and good first month or two communication after that it's a 1200$ weight watchers subscription, stay insanely far away from this tool.Business Response

I paid for a full year of Calibrate back in May of this year. On July 5th, I was notified that I was not eligible for low cost medication, but that I could get a refund. On July 6th, I sent notice to the company that I would be discontinuing my membership, with the understanding that I would get a refund of $1399 sent to my credit card in 10 business days. It is August 1st, and I have not received the refund, nor do my efforts to reach out to the company get any response.Customer Answer

After paying over $1,600 for a fitness/diet coaching service. In the past twelve weeks I have received zero access to customer service, zero response to my request for assistance with services that I have contracted. This company has completely abandoned not only myself but nearly all of their customer base.Business Response

I signed up for Calibrate on April 2, 2023 at a cost of $1,599.00. The earliest doctor **** I was able to secure with them was on May 2 - so, I spent my 1st month just waiting for an appointment. In May, Calibrate closed their desktop access and moved the whole program to an app. But I wasn't able to log in to the app. They sent an email on 5/30 stating that people with Yahoo mail were unable to log in because of some system issue with their new app, and that they were working on it. I messaged and asked them to change to my gmail account, which they did (the one and only quick response I've ever received), and I was then able to log in without issue. First, I noticed my message history was gone - I had been messaging them in the app about denials I was receiving from my insurance. Every message took a minimum of 2 weeks to receive a response, even though they promised 48 hours. Now when I messaged them, from the app, they responded two weeks later to tell me I had emailed from an unknown email (nope) and they didn't know who I was. I replied that I messaged from the app, but also provided both emails and my name. On 6/2, still waiting for a response (weeks later), I noticed I couldn't log in to the app after another update that they'd announced. So, I emailed them. It is now August 1 and I haven't been able to access the app for a month. I have sent multiple emails and complained to my coach. On 7/18 they finally responded to say they resolved the issue (they didn't), but also that I should email a different address if I still couldn't log in (so they knew it wasn't resolved). I emailed that address on 7/20, and have yet to receive a reply. It's now been 90 days without the promised medication, plus a month without access to any of the app materials, and no one seems interested in actually responding or helping. I could go on with more emails and lies they've told, but there is no space. Bottom line: THIS IS A MONEY GRABBING SCAM.Business Response

The conpany Calibrate advertises GLP-1 medication for <$25/mo. Otherwise they refund the subscriber's $1,500 inititiation fee .I paid in April 2023 and followed their requirements including blood tests and physicians on-line appointments. The company did not provide the advertised negotiation of medication cost. They told me to call my insurance myself. My insurance informed me that the cost was $256/mo, which is >10x Calibrate's claim.I requested a refund multiple times with no company response. Their refund policy states 7 days turnaround but I have waited over 3 weeks. There are many complaints about this company. I just want my money back.Business Response

I signed up with Calibrate on July 27, 2023 in order to get medically supervised assistance with weight loss. Their refund policy states that a refund is possible if the buyer contacts them within 72 hours of signing up. Once I signed into the program, I found a lot of information that was not disclosed until the $1790 fee had been collected. This information includes long timelines for seeing a doctor, getting medication, diet restrictions and online counseling, the exclusive use of an app, etc. On July 29, I followed their instructions for requesting a full refund. I sent notification to the email address they provided. Titled the email as instructed, etc. Since then, all I receive are automated emails. I emailed requesting the refund again on 7/30 and 7/31. I then received an email that a Welcome Kit has been mailed to me. I believe this is their attempt to show I am still in their program. I am not. I have reported this to my credit card company as well.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:Today, 8/15/23, I spoke to my credit card company (Citi) and was told that joinCalibrate has not responded to their inquiry.
Although joinCelebrate sent me an email on 8/8/23 indicating they would refund my fee, they stated that I should cancel the dispute I filed with Citi in order for the refund to process. Citi recommended that I do not cancel the dispute. Citi indicated that some companies will tell you to cancel the dispute because they know that once you cancel a dispute, it cannot be re-opened.
**** stated that joinCelebrate has until October 7, 2023 to respond to the Citi inquiry. If joinCelebrate does not respond, Citi will take the pending charge off of my account.
In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,

I signed up for Calibrate in October of 2022 and did not start receiving medication until December 2022. I understood that it could take that long but not long after I got the medication from calibrate my regular doctor also started prescribing it to me. I asked Calibrate to cancel my membership and they told me they could not issue a refund. I said I understood I would not get a current refund but I wanted to make sure Id never be charged again on an auto renew. No one has answered the emails that I have been sending to the only support email address ***************************************** since February 2023. I have sent 4 emails. In addition, I am no longer receiving ***** medication from them, so they are not even fulfilling what I am STILL paying for.Business Response

this was reviewed by our team, and per the terms and conditions and refund policy agreed to upon sign up, they are not eligible for a refund.
Member has a loan with Affirm so she is still responsible for making payments to them for the loan that she consented to take with Affirm. Since member is not refund eligible they are responsible for these payments.

I joined this company is ****** I was told that if my insurance does not cover the copays for the prescription medications I would be eligible for a refund minus the $250 for a scale! We had to upload our insurance information and photo of card. They have all of my insurance information When I reached out numerous times, I finally got a message back on the App and only because I messaged the *** on Linkedin. They are saying that I have a high deductible insurance. I do not have a deductible and have also have that in writing from HR at my employer. I still have not heard anything back. There are no phone numbers to contact this company as well. I have the phone number to a "health coach" and she gave me an 800 number and was told to leave a vm. Which I did and it has been a few weeks and have not heard anything. Also, they are supposed to provide health coaching which I did not receive for over a month. I am unsure of what I am paying for. I would like a refund and a response from this company but so far nothing.Business Response
