Date 1/28/2023 Amount ******** I went into the store to purchase a watch, the one that was in my budget was only online . They offered to ship it to me in *******. After telling me I they don't want to ship it to me in ********. They did not want to provide the tracking of the shipment . I never received it. I received a call from the manager on a unknown number that was later traced back to the store. They told me they would help and solve it. They did not. I reached out to ***** they said only the shipper can file the claim for the watch. Come to find out they do not want to do that at all because they only insured it for $1.00 . They have not given me a refund since I received nothing or even a replacement. They have been threatening me with lawyers even showing me sealing records that aren't visible to the public and more to prevent me to obtain a replacement or refund.

I paid Watches of Switzerland a total of $1,959.75 (includes ** Tax) for a new OMEGA watch bracelet on May 6, 2023. The location address of Watches of Switzerland is Watches of Switzerland (WOS) ******************, Unit ***************************************************************. *****.Watches of Switzerland committed to ordering a new watch bracelet from OMEGA and installing the Bracelet onto my existing OMEGA watch. On, Saturday, May 20th, I brought the watch in, to have WOS switch the current watch bracelet with the new watch bracelet I purchased for $1,959.75. The installation took over 1 hour. The technician at WOS said he had to use some of the parts from the old bracelet. I thought that was odd since I purchased a new bracelet. In September I noticed the pin(s), inside the stainless steel bracelet with gold tips, were coming out. This meant my watch could fall off my arm without my knowing. *** attempted to resolve the issue by stating they would replace the defective links and pins. I stated, I purchased a new bracelet to replace an existing bracelet I wore for over 10 years that never had this issue. I requested a refund or a completely new bracelet, since the the one I was sold was defective. On October 14th I brought the defective watch bracelet into Watches of Switzerland located at ******************, ********************************************************************. *****, to receive a refund or a new replacement of the Omega watch bracelet. I met with the following, ************************* (Store Manager), **** from the ******************** and a second store manager who said he would respond in 2 weeks with an answer regarding refunding my money or obtaining a new bracelet. As of to-date I have received no response.

    1. $28750 was claimed by Watches of Switzerland and was returned on April 4, 2022 2. I confirmed with **** ** ******* that **** ** ******* did not receive this refund.3. ************ is the claim number provided by **** ** *******, which can prove that the bank has not received any refund, because my bank account has been closed in October last year 4. The refund was not approved by me.5. The merchant tried to tell me that I need to go to **** ** ******* to solve the problem. This is not the bank's problem. I deposited money with you, why did I refund it without my permission?

    Business Response

Dear ********** review of your scenario and correspondence with both our Showroom and ************************* Teams, we see that our last conversations on this topic regarded the requirement of an official letter from your bank stating that this refund was not received, this is an absolute requirement that way our Payment Processer who managed the refund can properly investigate and work with your bank to locate the funds. While we appreciate your sharing the claim # filed we have no visibility to your banks systems to validate this.As the refund was issued and taken from our account, we are unable to honor any store credit or issue a secondary refund at this time, the only course of action at our disposal is for our Payment Processor to proceed with a review after they have an official letter of discrepancy from your bank that contradicts the refund information you were provided by us.

Regarding the initiation of this refund, we sadly could no longer promise delivery of the requested merchandise due to conditions beyond our control, and in best business practice could no longer hold your funds. Policy dictates we return funds to the original method of payment only, and in all prior cases where an account may have been closed, the associated bank has always been able to receive the funds and directly pay them to the account holder.

If you have been able to acquire the official letter from your bank to submit please reach back out to our ************************* Team and they would be more than glad to get this case back in motion.
