      Failed our family completely. My daughter started out with a 1250 and took their course that guaranteed a 1400. She got a 1260. They wasted an immense amount of our time and energy on a course that did absolutely nothing. This is time that we cannot recover and we will never use this company for anything ever again. They did send us a refund, but they didnt seem to care at all that they had failed us in this way.

I understand why you feel we let you down. While we honored the score-guarantee refund, we know a refund doesnt give back the time and effort your family invested.

      This outcome is not typical, but thats not an excuse. I apologize if it seemed we didnt care about your daughters outcome.       Does not honor money back guarantee promises and does not respond to details request for declined guarantees. They are not BBB rated for a reason. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid unless you want to spend time in claims court instead of improving grades.

      Im sorry to hear of your disappointment regarding our decision on your Money Back Guarantee request. We understand how important these programs are for families, and we take every guarantee review very seriously.

      As noted in our 9/26 email, the request was denied because your student did not complete the homework in accordance with the syllabus. Specifically, a large portion of the homework was completed in under a minute: 43% in less than 30 seconds and 2/3 in less than 1 minute. For the guarantee to apply, students must meaningfully engage with all aspects of the course, including homework, practice tests, and class attendance, so that we can deliver on our promise of score improvement. Please see the full course engagement detail we provided in our 9/26 email.

      We also want to clarify that since our 9/26 email, we have not received any additional communication from you requesting further details, though we are always glad to provide clarification if needed. While a refund was not available under the Money Back Guarantee, your student is still eligible for our Satisfaction Guarantee, which allows them to retake the same class at no additional cost. We encourage you to take advantage of this option so your student can meaningfully engage with the homework in the course.

      I am an experienced administrator seeking summer employment, with a strong background working for various online tutoring companies. Recently, I began the interview process with Tutor.com. During my interview, the interviewerwho was significantly younger than meexperienced repeated connectivity issues, frequently logging in and out. Despite her interruptions, she consistently praised my responses, noting their accuracy and quality. I have over ten years of experience in education and hold two masters degrees in the field, making me highly qualified to tutor children.However, I was disappointed to learn that I did not receive the position. The interviewer was not present for the entire session due to technical difficulties and even ended the interview early to focus solely on the online component. Given these circumstances, I feel discouraged by my experience with Tutor.com. I believe I deserve another interviewthis time with an interviewer who is more experienced, older, and able to maintain a stable connection throughout the process.

      The tutor spent every class writing down the right method but didn't tell the student to copy him or change what they're doing, and waited until the last couple of hours to actually tell the student to mimic the right method. Didn't recommend any study materials or leave any homework or do any targeted practice. Did not disclose they themselves didn't score above a 700/800 on sat reading and tutored me on reading while getting every question wrong with non-sense explanations.

      This company does not seem to be legit at all. I took 3 different exams and they scored me incorrectly on several correct answers that were verified to be correct by a college professor. Do not waste your money buying the credits.
