    On 27 August 2025, we paid Geek Support LLC $999.99 for lifetime technical support. This happened because our computer siren went off indicating the presence of a virus. We already have an anti-virus app on our computer (Norton), which did not seem to protect our computer from this virus infection. In addition, we have had (My Best Buy Total, also known as Geek Squad) for two years, who we were trying to contact from our browser when Geek Support LLC came on line. This happened because the Geek Squad icon on my desktop was removed leaving me to think Geek Squad had changed their name. Geek Support LLC committed to provide technical support for our computer device, which at time was infected with a virus. The technical support for the removal of the virus was not rendered. I talked with the technical support business representative the following day about the computer remaining on all night waiting to be reconnected and there was no screen background. Then I spoke with the individual that handled sale and put in a claim because the services were not rendered and asked that we be refunded our funds since they did not provide the services or provide us with a contract for the funds paid. We even contacted our bank to try to be refunded our funds and was told because I authorized the withdrawal I had to contact Geek Support LLC for the refund. Services not rendered is supported by Geek Squad removing 16 viruses from our computer on *********************************************************************************************** if I want our money refunded and I said yes. The funds were to be refunded within 3 days. Another request was made on Friday 26 Sep, with promise of callback by end of business day and still no response to date. We contacted them on 2 October about refunding our money and was basically told the same thing. We have not received a contract which leave me to believe everything is not above board.
