Opened an application and some of the requests for additional information were bizarre:Ex: "Please explain why business deposits are inconsistent" - Um, because I'm a business - some months are better than others.Others were simply asking for information I had already provided in the application:Ex. "Where is your business located?"Then they started asking me to provide confidential information (account numbers, etc) in an unsecured email. The person lied to me about a secure portal - just didn't exist.Feeling as though this was a scam I asked my application to be terminated. They indicated it had been terminated - which they said they did. Next day I could see my application still on the website. Asked a second time to terminate my application. Two weeks later I get a follow-up call and email asking me for more information.CLEARLY A SCAM. STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY.Business Response

I am filing this complaint against Biz2Credit and its affiliate, Itria Ventures, LLC, due to their continued breach of a formal settlement agreement executed in March *********************************************************************************** to withdraw a prior BBB complaint under false pretenses. The agreement included specific obligations by Biz2Credit/Itria:Withdrawal of all legal actions and summons filed against my business (Dickeys Barbecue Pit Herndon, **);Prompt notification to vendors confirming lien/claim releases;Cooperative communication and follow-through as a condition for payment.Despite our full complianceincluding the submission of all requested financial documentation and a formal offer of $25,000 to fully settle the accountwe have received no acknowledgment or response from Biz2Credits team. Our emails to representatives, including **** ********, ******** ********, and ****** *****, remain unanswered.Additionally, multiple vendors are still withholding funds, claiming they were never informed by Biz2Credit or Itria of any lien or hold releases, as required by the settlement. We have repeatedly requested copies of such communications or a vendor list, none have been provided.Furthermore, although the summons was eventually dismissed in the state of VA, this only occurred after we threatened to resubmit the BBB complaintuntil then, we received no confirmation or acknowledgment from their legal team.We negotiated in good faith, including providing financials and offering a $25,000 final payment to close the account in full. In return, Biz2Credit has failed to uphold its side of the agreement. We are now forced to refile this BBB complaint due to their breach and noncompliance.Business Response

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the allegations made in this complaint which, for the reasons stated herein, we believe to be false and unfounded. The ****************************** DBA Dickeys Barbecue Pit (the Merchant) entered into a Receivable Sale Agreement (***) with Itria Ventures LLC (Itria a wholly owned subsidiary of Biz2Credit) and at the same time the Managing Members (***** **** and ****** ****) also executed a guaranty by which they guaranteed the performance of the Merchant under the ***. The Merchant subsequently breached the *** and after negotiations a Settlement Agreement (**) was executed by Managing Members and Guarantors ***** **** and ****** ****. Under the ** they agreed to submit payment to Itria of $97,112.60. Beginning in March 20, 2025, they agreed to make weekly payments in the amount of $2,065.08 until the $97,112.60 was paid in full. The ** further stipulated that if the aforementioned payments were not received when due, then Itria had the right to declare a default and proceed with all legal remedies after a 30-day ***** period and right to cure the default had passed. Itria was not obligated to terminate *** Financing Statements (i.e. security interests/liens) until the settlement amount was paid in full.
To date, we have received $10,717.08 in payment out of the $97,112.60 owed. Under the agreed upon payment schedule, the Merchant is $23,911.28 in arrears and should have paid $34,628 by this date. The balance still owed under the ** is $86,395.52. Until this amount is paid in full, Itria is under no obligation to release any liens it has lawfully obtained. Based on the Merchants failure to make the agreed upon payments when due, they are in default of the **. Their statement that they are in full compliance with the ** is simply not true. Likewise, their claims that Biz2Credit and Itria Ventures are in continued breach of the ** and that they acted in bad faith are without merit. In addition, none of the specific obligations mentioned in the complaint are actually part of the ** that was executed. Biz2Credit and Itria have at all times negotiated in good faith and have in no way breached the **. The Merchants continued breach and failure to cure the same constitutes a default under the ** and gives Itria the right to proceed with any and all legal remedies available.
We remain committed to resolving this matter professionally and respectfully. If the customer has any questions or would like to discuss this matter further, we encourage them to contact us directly.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Biz2Credit/Itrias statement, which continues to mischaracterize the facts and downplay the significant operational and reputational harm their actions have caused to my business.
1. Vendor Damage Due to Miscommunication
Despite our repeated requests, Biz2Credit/Itria failed to promptly notify vendors of lien releases and financial holds, which directly led to our removal from major platforms such as FOODA (a critical source of our revenue). Multiple vendors explicitly informed us that no release communications were ever received from Itria, despite representations made by their team in prior email correspondence.
We also requested, multiple times, a list of vendors they claimed to have notified. To date, no such list or documentation has been provided. Their failure to act on this front created a direct and measurable financial impact on our operationsa key point completely ignored in their response.
2. Lien Removal After Payment
Biz2Credit/Itria claims they are not obligated to remove liens until the full amount under the Settlement Agreement (SA) is paid. However, at least one *** lien persisted after full payment of our prior balance and despite assurances that the matter had been closed. We had to follow up multiple times just to get confirmation that the lien was released, causing further disruption in our banking and vendor relationships.
3. Settlement Delays and Lack of Cooperation
Contrary to Itria's claim of good-faith conduct, we have been requesting a revised settlement for over a month with no response from any representative, despite sending detailed financial information and a written proposal offering a $25,000 lump sum to close the account. We have emailed **** ********, ******** ********, and ****** ***** repeatedly, but have received no meaningful reply. Please see the attached documents.
We are not refusing payment; we are actively trying to resolve this matter with a clean, final settlement. This would allow both parties to disengage professionally and with mutual closure. Their lack of response and delay in negotiations are what is preventing resolution, not our intent or efforts.
4. BBB Complaint Withdrawal Was Induced Under False Pretenses
We were explicitly encouraged by their team to withdraw a prior BBB complaint as a show of good faith in return for cooperative communication and follow-through. However, after we complied, they reverted to silencea pattern that reflects bad faith, not professional dispute resolution.
5. Incorrect Characterization of Full Compliance
In their response, they claim that we are not in full compliance with the *** However, the context is importantour payments were halted after Biz2Credit/Itria failed to uphold their responsibilities regarding lien release communication and vendor coordination. We paused payments pending a revised, final settlement, not to evade responsibility. This is not a breachit is a direct response to their unfulfilled obligations and the absence of engagement from their team.
6. We Seek a Final Settlement, Not a Prolonged Dispute
We are not interested in dragging this on. Our goal remains simple:
- A clean, documented settlement amount
- Final closure of the account
- Lien removals and vendor releases were communicated properly
We have complied with document requests, made substantial payments, and extended good-faith offersall of which are on record.
Conclusion
Biz2Credit/Itrias response deflects from their own delays, miscommunications, and lack of transparency. If they are truly interested in resolution, they should engage promptly and professionally to finalize a mutual settlement. Otherwise, we will continue to pursue formal complaints through the appropriate regulatory and consumer protection channels, as our business has suffered measurable harm due to their actions.
We stand by our position and urge Biz2Credit/Itria to contact us to close this matter fairly and promptly.
Respectfully,
***** * ****** ****

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the allegations in the Merchants response. Due to the fact that the Merchants prior response fails to allege any new facts and merely repeats misrepresentations from the original response, we do not believe it is fitting for us to address each individual claim made by the Merchant, however we do wish to highlight a few points.
The facts in this case are clear and plain. Merchant entered into a binding settlement agreement with Itria whereby Merchant agreed to pay Itria $97,112.60. Merchant has thus far remitted only $10,707.08 when the payments should exceed $24,000 at this juncture and the balance still remains of $86,395.52. Merchant remains in default of the settlement agreement though, unfoundedly, claims that Itria is acting in bad faith by not agreeing to a revised agreement which would only require Merchant to pay $25,000 of the $86,395.52 still owed. The Merchants attempts to strong-arm Itria into accepting less than what it is owed through false allegations and misrepresentations is unconscionable and borderline blackmail. Merchant has already breached two signed agreements with Itria and yet it now seeks to force Itria to enter into a third. Merchant states that they seek a final settlement ignoring the fact that they already executed a final settlement and then defaulted under the same.
We have reached out to the Merchant and have requested a reasonable resolution though the Merchant believes the strongarm tactics will result in a further discount. While we hope to resolve this dispute with Merchant amicably and without further litigation, we will pursue our claims in a court of law as necessary.

Like the previous complaint filed before mine, I am filing this complaint against Biz2Credit due to their predatory and unprofessional practices. I find extremely concerning that the most recent public complaint details an account of a situation nearly identical to that of my business: a small business slips on a payment, issue is immediately escalated by placing a lien--thus halting the cashflow of the business. Biz2Credit continues demanding payment without flexibility to allow the business to recover and get back on track amidst the impacted cash flow. In our scenario, the lien placed on our business has halted income from one of our largest client accounts, significantly impacting our cash flow and making it increasingly difficult for us to meet our obligations with Biz2Credit. Like another client has lamented, we're suffering from a lack of any meaningful support in getting back on track. Despite working to catch up to missed payments as soon as possible with our hands tied financially (always within a month), we have yet to see proof of any release letter being sent which we are told can not be provided to us. As such, we have not seen some payments from our client for upwards of a month. Reading other clients accounts of alleged predatory lien use and poor communicationand experiencing firsthand how restoring our cash flow always seems just out of reach, with each step dragging into yet another payment demand without lien relief (e.g., resending documents submitted months ago, identifying issues in signed forms weeks after submission, etc.)the lack of clarity and support in this process increasingly feels less like procedure and more like a deliberate business strategy. Like others, Im requesting that Biz2Credit be held accountable and that these predatory practices stop.Business Response

Complaint Against Biz2Credit I am filing this complaint against Biz2Credit due to their predatory and unprofessional practices. As a new business, we initially turned to Biz2Credit for support after our facility was damaged by a car accident. We secured a loan through them to help with repairs while we awaited insurance coverage. However, our situation took a further unfortunate turn when our store was robbed, and we were unable to make the payments. Instead of working with us to find a reasonable solution or offering a deferment on the loan, Biz2Credit chose to escalate the situation. They placed liens on all our merchant accounts, which completely halted the cash flow to our business. Despite knowing our circumstances, they continued to demand payments, making it impossible for us to recover.Their actions have not only made an already difficult situation worse but also demonstrated a complete lack of understanding of the struggles small businesses face. Rather than providing any meaningful support or showing empathy, Biz2Credit seemed more focused on accruing legal fees and profiting off our misfortune.Biz2Credits actions appear to be predatory, and they have shown no intention of working with us or helping us through a challenging time. I deeply regret ever doing business with them and strongly advise others to avoid this company. They do not have their clients' best interests at heart and have only caused further harm to our business.I am requesting that Biz2Credit be held accountable for their actions and that they cease their predatory practices.Customer Answer

I have submitted very personal financial details to the company Credit2Biz through an online application process. Following my aplication There was one attempt to contact me in regard to my application. I missed this call as I work m-f 11-8pm. I have politely responded to the emails of the person who reached out to me and have had no response. After several attempts to communicate via phone with your company I have had the same result with no return calls. I am seeking answers to my application status and where and how my financial details were used I would like to know why my accounts have been denied when the claim to your company is providing entrepreneurs like myself funding based on things aside from my personal credit and business credit history. I have not heard anything from the company since I submitted my banking info and my EIN numbers. Being an eager entrepreneur Im simply eager to get funding and start my business. I feel a bit helpless and like I have made a horrible decision with my business information. I am hoping your company can give guidance in how to resolve. I would kindly ask a response and some information on how to obtain a loan from this company as I am trying to fund a business I have made formations with If I have submitted the information wrong I would like to have someone advise me on what was wrong. I would also like to have my data retracted from your database if it is simply to be denied with no subsequent backing. Thank you ******Customer Answer
