1 starI concur with all these horrible reviews. They put their prices at a lower amount when you first place your order thinking you will only pay $50-80 for the subscription and then its $200+ on the next order. If you try and cancel the subscription they say they hold the right to charge the full amount on the first order and they wont let you cancel. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!Review fromRoy M

1 starBuyer beware. Theyll definitely overcharge you $150+ for third-rate skin-care products on a subscription without notification. Our team communicated those details in several places both prior to and after purchase, with your explicit consent provided to terms at checkout by manually marking a box indicating you had read and agreed to our Refill Policy. We put a lot of effort into communicating purchasing options with our customers and hope that they manage their membership preferences from within their account portal or reach out to our support team if any assistance is needed. Our fulfillment manager was able to recall your first full-sized regimen order with us for refund, and we confirmed cancellation of your subscription. 1 starThis supposed "business" doesn't care about their customers at all, because they don't see you as a customer.Rather, you are a **** for these crooks. You think you are buying a product to try out, but then they sign you up for a subscription costing massive amounts of money. They pretend they have your permission but are actually suckering people, and finding every which way to take more and more whenever they feel like it. I expect to have to cancel my cards and ****** since they are attacking both to steal from me.Who knows what is in the products that I initially got for my son? They are NOT a real company like others who are trying to build a business and have repeat satisfied customers. Unlike real companies, they won't refund, even when they took the money without authorization, and even before they've shipped you anything. Real modern companies refund customers who don't want the product or surprise "subscriptions". The answer is "we can't cancel it" BEFORE they've even shipped it, but really they are just stealing and everyone knows, as you can see in the reviews. The excuses they make in the replies here are what they say to everyone, but you can tell from the massive number of people complaining of being deceived in the same way that they are definitely ripping people off. They literally just want to keep the hundreds of dollars they stole from you.Real companies have subscriptions that don't have this problem (even ******, etc.) but these shysters would have you believe that you as the customer are just stupid. THEY STOLE YOUR MONEY with deceptive practices, just like all the OTHER REVIEWS SAY. Funny too..I saw back in March that they tried to set me up on subscriptions and canceled them but sure enough, they are back again on the site! 1 starAbsolutely scam of a company. The purchase page for the trial kit was purposely misleading of the cost of the final product. No reminders or confirmations of signing up for a subscription. **************** is terrible. They say they can't cancel an order, even thought I emailed them mere minutes after they charged my card over $170! On the purchase page it states it's a onemonth trial, but they charge you after 28 days. Total scam of a company, stay away!Geologie

Customers typically answer our skin type quiz to find a personalized skincare regimen that fits their needs best before receiving their results and those membership details. We state clearly here that the trial period lasts 28 days.Then, we explicitly call out on the checkout page that purchasing a personalized trial order will lead to recurring orders, which customers can update from their account at any point during the course of their trial and longer term subscription. To be clear, customers must give explicit manual consent to these terms if they wish to take advantage of our heavy trial discounts, and purchase of a membership trial cannot be completed unless those terms are acknowledged and agreed to.And finally, in our order confirmation email we again outline the length of our trial period and prompt customers to manage their own subscription details from their account page, where they can postpone an order, adjust the products theyre receiving, review cost, or cancel outright. 1 starJust finished up a dispute with them regarding the trial that others have discussed in this thread. I was offered a "FREE GIFT SAMPLE" (exact words) in which I would receive 4 sample items for just the cost of shipping. I placed this order on May 3 and then on May 31, I was charged $195.89 for a monthly subscription of those 4 items + 1 item I had paid to be added to the free sample gift. At no point in the checkout process had I agreed to a monthly subscription. I do not doubt that they probably have it in 6pt font somewhere near the bottom but regardless, what we are now discussing is the use of incredibly deceptive marketing tactics. I emailed the company BEFORE the charge fully hit my account, requesting a refund and cancellation. They do not refund, they do not accept returns. Going from $8 shipping under the guise of a FREE anything to then being charged monthly for almost $200 is massively irresponsible, disingenuous, and exploitative. They do not care about their consumers despite the fact their charge on my account would've put me into over-drafting my account. This is not how you keep new business.Countless companies, including Ad*be and airlines, have been targeted with lawsuits by FTC for things like hiding fees or terms, and preventing easy cancellation. Geologie's marketing practices feel no different to me. I was able to receive a refund with my dispute, however, avoid the hassle completely and do not buy from this company!Review fromJosiah G

1 starThis is absolutely a scam. DO NOT purchase from this company. Their customer service is underhanded and condescending. I, like many other people, did not want a subscription so I went in and cancelled it. The SAME DAY, they charged me $155 for a "regimen" and then refused to cancel the order or ***** me a refund.They then tried to blame me for the fact that I should've known better, because apparently opting out of communications for "deals and offers" also means they won't contact you before they charge your payment method. Their representatives only copy and paste their useless website information and send "touchpoint" screencaps as if hiding their fine print excuses them from being literal scammers. I've worked in luxury skincare for almost a decade, and the fact they won't stand behind their products enough to offer refunds is insane to me. They have NO respect for customers and are literally just out to trick people into getting their money. They love using plug words and phrases like "communicating transparently" and "outlining our trial period" to excuse not giving any sort of quality customer service to justify their entrapment. I've already contact the affiliate that I saw an ad through them through to drop them. Even if their skincare was holy grail (it's mediocre at best), nothing is worth how deceptive they are. 1 star********** is tactically deceiving customers into subscription costs. ******************* is the most manipulative CEO I have ever encountered in my life. Geologie offers free samples, asking for card information for shipping charges, they then deliberately conceal any correspondence and notice including that they will charge you for a full subscription if you do not cancel within a small number of days. The icing on the cake is they use slow shipping methods so that the package arrives same day or just before the scheduled charge, leaving the consumer a very small window of opportunity to explore return/refund options. I will be reporting this scam with the *** and try to explore the possibility of legal action. Geologie, if you are reading this, I will dedicate my time to getting a refund, no matter how much time and effort it takes. I hope you learn to do better by your customers.Review fromQuennie S
