The ****'s right to delete, also known as the right to erasure, allows California residents to request that businesses delete their personal information. Businesses must comply with these requests. Additionally, that BeenVerified and their service providers do the same. Such as NumberGuru, PeopleLooker, *********** and etc. Signed a subscription with a data removal service as they provide ongoing monitoring and updates to ensure my fathers information remains removed. Optery was given limited power of attorney to maximize the effectiveness of their data broker removal requests, therefore making them an authorized agent for the specific person identified. Based on observations, data brokers are not always responsive and at times have made the removal process challenging as they refuse to honor the person authorized to act on the principal's behalf. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), businesses generally have 45 days to respond to a consumer's request to access or delete their personal information which they have not complied with. ****** submitted a request to output on May 19, 2025, however his information has not been removed. This is a formal notice to BeenVerified that they stop sharing and distributing my deceased fathers information. Beginning 26Jul2024, BeenVerified started billing me $28.79 every month, although I did not sign up for an account or authorize a recurring payment. I used Been Verified only twice and paid then $ ***** to verify two different cars I bought for each of my two daughters. Been verified website asked me for my debit card information and three security numbers which I put twice. The reason why they have my phone number is because I inquired about the charges they had on the account the name that they have how many account is a name that I have not used in 7 years The address they have on the account is my address that I moved from **************************************************************************************************************************************************************** that email address The email address they have on the account is not my email so therefore how would I know anything about this. Is it not illegal for someone to use somebody's identity and also use their credit card without their knowledge and the ones accepting it are liable for that fraudulent charge which this account was done fraudulently. I informed them that it was done fraudulently and they turn around and said the account was closed I would get a full refund never sent a full refund and then a week and a half later charged me for another month. I have talked with someone at attorney's office and they're willing for me to make an appointment and set down with them and said that sensors multiples arguments about how this company is fraudulently scamming people and taking their money there could be a lawsuit or a class action lawsuit if enough people signed up if you read their reviews for been verified you will see that they do this all the time to multiple people if you read the reviews since this was filed I have talked with a supervisor just for her to hang up on me in mid conversation, I called back and got her back on the phone after over 45 minutes and then also for her to tell me she will call me back by the close of business that day and did not hear from her for 4 more days and I had to call her then, still nothing resolved still same runaround and they have no intentions on doing what is the right and lawful thing to do

I received a cancellation verification and I screenshot the page. Today I was charged anyway. I returned to the website to get their phone number and checked my account. The site said my account was active. I cancelled again and called the number they provided but was unable to speak to anyone or leave a message. I want my money refunded.Business Response
