      I moved out of my affordable apartment @ ********************************************************** on 10/31/22 and turned in the keys and notified management of my move. I requested my deposit to be mailed to my home address and no one responded to my requests. By law in the ***************** when a tenant moves out the former landlord is supposed to provide a statement but that was never done. I have reached out to the property manager multiple and even the assistance at this building. I have left messages and even emailed ************ and no one has responded to me.

      For the last 7 years, I have lived at the ************************* apartment complex in **********, ** (Unit ****). I have serious concerns about Related apartment management practices and the service that is provided to residents. I am concerned about the safety and wellbeing of my fellow residents as well as myself. Since Related purchased the property in 2020, this once "luxury" apartment complex has turned into a slum. For the amount of rent we pay, we should not have to be dealing with the following: Poor communication from management, including inaccessibility by phone or in the office. Trash being left outside of resident apartments which leads to horrendous smells and exposure to unsanitary conditions, including attracting wildlife. Maintenance requests not being attended to in a timely manner due to "lack of maintenance personnel." No onsite security which has allowed for multiple car thefts and vandalism. Way past 10pm quiet hours, there are loud neighbors (including teens and children) and cars racing down the street. (We have young children and pets on the property!) Recently, mail has been diverted to the post office for pick up because the mailboxes are in poor condition where mail can be easily stolen. In addition, I have heard reports from residents that when they first moved in, they arrived to non "made-ready" units with floors missing carpet, filthy appliances, and old warn out appliances. Some others have reported mold issues that have not been addressed. I would like to be able to get out of my lease early (within the next 90 days) without having to pay a reletting fee or additional rent because of the environment I am living in! (My lease is up in May 2023.) Thanks for reading!

      I rented an apartment while still in Washington State, a* *** ****** ********* in Altamonte Springs Fl **** *** * **** After driving to Florida, over 3000 miles, I opened a lock box to a Unit crawling with roaches and a prior tenant that smoked inside for b over 13 years. It was uninhabitable and I never took physical occupancy. I have still not received a reply or refund for all deposits and full month of advance rent. No one will reply. I am homeless 3000 miles away from where I drove to live. I was verbally assaulted by ****** ***** and physically molested by the Maintenance manager *****. I have no place to live and no money and no rely from this company. I have sent 100s of emails. There are no numbers to call. Please help.

      I applied for an apartment with ******** Housing Connection.I applied for ************** *********** in ************* under Related Companies. We recieve Log numbers and they are supposed to call in order based on their percentage allotment for certain priorites. 50% of their apartments go to the community board and about 10% for disability and *** government workers, the rest about 35% goes to the general public who have applied and it goes by low log number to highest. There is no preference as per their website to the remaining general allotment. My log number was **** with an out of state address . I also have an in state address because i work in ******** with the airline but could only add 1 address for this application. I was bypassed on the list. I contacted this complex prior to them getting to my log number and was not informed they would prioritize ******** residents even for the general applicant allotment. This is not what is stated on their website.

      We are having trouble getting our Air Conditioning fixed in our rented apartment. The Issue was reported on 7/6/2021. They came on 7/7/2021 while at work, and left with no ** running and all the doors and windows opened. We called on 7/7/2021 and they claimed to have fixed it, but that evening the ** was still not working. Called in an emergency maintenance request around 6:40pm CT. Maintenance Conf # *******. Maintenance person show up and said he would come back and fix it tomorrow. 2 days now without **.

      I lived at the Paramount building (*** ******* ******) in San Francisco for 2 years. This building is owned and managed by Related. I notified the building management (in writing) that I would not be renewing my lease weeks before the lease end date. The lease ended on May 26, 2021. I have yet to receive my security deposit. I have contacted Paramount staff via phone and email several times asking for them to return my security deposit. These communications have all been ignored. I have also contacted the Related corporate office by phone (###-###-####) several times. A person named Dan answered one time and said he would get this resolved. That was over a week ago and I haven't heard anything back. Each time I try to call the corporate management office no one answers the phone. I just want my security deposit back. They are now in violation of California law, which requires that deposits be returned within 21 days of the lease expiration date.
