      I am submitting this formal complaint against ***************************, headquartered in *******, for serious violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and breaches of consumer data privacy. LexisNexis has mishandled my personal data, reported inaccurate information, and failed to take corrective action despite being provided clear documentation.Specifically, a bankruptcy filing has been included in my LexisNexis consumer report that is not mine. I have received written confirmation from the court that they do not report bankruptcy information to LexisNexis. Therefore, the presence of this record is both unauthorized and ************* response to my disputeand to a related CFPB complaintLexisNexis sent documentation referring to an entirely different person, not related to me, further suggesting a serious consumer file mix-up. Their reinvestigation was inadequate and failed to address the core issue: the incorrect and damaging bankruptcy record.Even more troubling, LexisNexis claimed in one letter that no bankruptcy could be located, then later stated that it was verified through ******** through the court. ***** does not verify identity and is not authorized to be used for third-party commercial reporting. This misuse of federal data may also violate privacy protections.LexisNexis also disclosed a trade line account belonging to another individual named ******* *******, who has no association with me whatsoever. Including this information in my file constitutes an egregious file mix error and a clear FCRA violation.I am demanding the following actions be taken immediately:1. The full and permanent removal of the inaccurate bankruptcy record from my LexisNexis consumer file.2. The immediate deletion of the unrelated trade line account associated with ******* *******.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********,  however, i do not need lexisnexis to  mail me a letter asking for verification  documents when i clearly sent priority mail and was signed for by an lexisnexis employee.  Lexisnexis   breached my privacy rights and i find that  to reach a resolution i demand a removal/delete  the bankruptcy also remove the other person ******* ****** *********** accounts and any charge offs  that was attached to my file from my  consumer file and send to all 3 credit bureaus  immediately.  the letters attached are correspondence from lexisnexis clearly states they did not locate bankruptcy and attached another consumer identity to mines. please read carefully and respond a removal immediately and a letter stating of removal sent to all 3 credit bureaus.

      LexisNexis Risk Solutions **** takes complaints from consumers extremely seriously and we have a robust process in place for resolving such matters, including a Legal review of all responses and handling by our Operations Escalated Response Team.
       
      For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and a mail a more fulsome response to the consumer.  We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach.
       
      If the consumer does not agree with the BBB website response he or she can then reject the case on the BBB website; however, it keeps the consumers data safe.  
       
      And to reiterate, a separate letter is sent to the consumer with the specific details of the resolution via mail.

      Business Name: LexisNexis Risk Solutions Category: ****************** / Claims Processing Complaint:I am filing this complaint due to LexisNexis's unacceptable delay in delivering a critical police report to the insurer involved in our case. The report concerns a motor vehicle accident that occurred on May 30, 2025, in which my family and I were not at fault.The at-fault driver claimed to be driving for DoorDash at the time. Their insurance (Helmsman, contracted through ********) has cited LexisNexis as the party responsible for delivering the official police report, and used this delay as the sole reason to postpone liability ************* of mid-July, it has been over six weeks since the accident. There is absolutely no valid reason why LexisNexis should be taking this long to fulfill a simple document request that has direct legal and financial implications for the victim (my family).Your company's failure to process and deliver the report in a timely manner has directly contributed to our being without compensation, stuck in a bureaucratic loop, and unable to repair our damaged vehicle.I demand immediate action to deliver the report to all involved parties and a written explanation for the unreasonable delay.If this is not resolved promptly, I will escalate to legal counsel and relevant regulatory bodies.Desired Resolution: Immediate release of the police report to all requesting parties, including ******************* and an explanation for the delay.

      LexisNexis has included inaccurate driving records in my consumer report. The report was shared with inaccuracies to my auto insurance company which chose not to renew my policy. Prior to shopping for a new insurance policy I was instructed by new insurance company to dispute the findings in the LexisNexis report so that I would not be charged ridiculous premiums. I was left on hold by LexisNexis for 25 minutes, finally spoke with an agent who proceeded to hangup on me when I requested my dispute be handled over the phone. On second call to LexisNexis the agent could not verify my identity and requested I submit further documentation, of which processing can take up to 10 days. On third call, I requested to speak with a manager and was immmediately hungup on.I was told the dispute process can take up to 30 days all done via mail. In the meantime I am forced into paying for auto premiums due to inaccuracies in LexisNexis report.Based on the other complaints here, I am not the only one. And it appears LexisNexis is neglecting to correct inaccuracies in MANY auto insurance reports.

      I have contacted this company multiple times to resolve an issue with an insurance report showing that my son who I am the power of attorney over does not have insurance and has not had insurance. When my insurance agent pulls the report this is the information that it gets. I have submitted multiple pieces of documentation including the power of attorney my son's ID all of the declaration pages showing he has insurance and error that my insurance agent has been getting. I have attempted to follow up multiple times and each time I get hung up on or I get told that somebody will give me a call back and they never do. I get a different story every time that I call in. With the next to the last one saying that the dispute had been settled they just needed to update the profile and after being on hold for an hour and a half the call was disconnected. The person I spoke to when I called back said that somebody would call me back and that never happened. There does not seem to be any way to communicate with them other than by phone however it is nearly impossible to speak to somebody who can actually assist you or to even keep the call connected. The last person that I spoke to was *** Who gave me a reference number of ********. The original case number that was given to me when the dispute was filed was ********. I really just want this issue resolved so that my son can get proper insurance. Information that is being given to insurance agents is incorrect. My son's name is ***** *******
