      A client pays me through Melio and we accidentally clicked a MARKETING link that somehow resulted in 2.9% taken off all our invoices. Lost hundreds of dollars. We are in week 2 of trying to resolve this issue with Melio, have had multiple agents email us over multiple weeks (very slow response times), and the last agent emailing from support at ************************** told us that we need to get in touch with the Support Team! But they were emailing from support@. I'm not sure what's going on at that company, but I wish my client would stop doing business with them we so never have to engage again. I do not trust them. Any company that would send you a marketing link where with 1 click you can have a large percentage of your check taken out is not an honest company, money hungry above everything, and knows they can skimp out on customers service. Gross.

      We are filing this complaint regarding Melio's ongoing and unexplained withholding of over $20,000 in funds belonging to our company. These payments are unrelated to any active dispute and are being frozen without explanation, legal justification, or a direct point of contact.The issue began after a debtor of ours retroactively disputed a legitimate payment made through Melio. The services were provided in full and we have supplied all supporting documentation to Melio, including the invoice, the signed Bill of Lading confirming delivery, and client communications. Despite this, Melio has frozen all unrelated pending payments to our *********** date, Melio has:Failed to provide any clear explanation for freezing unrelated funds Ignored all requests for escalation or direct contact Communicated only via email and chat, even as we face a material business disruption Offered no resolution timeline, despite multiple follow-ups We have used Melio for over six years with no prior issues. This sudden shift toward non-responsiveness and blanket fund freezing based on an unsupported dispute raises serious concerns about Melio's operating practices.We are requesting that Melio:Immediately release the unrelated pending payments being held Provide a full explanation of the dispute Offer a clear path to resolution Assign a live point of contact to handle this matter Unless this matter is resolved promptly, we will have no choice but to pursue legal action and continue to escalate the issue publicly and through appropriate regulatory channels.We urge Melio to act in good faith and resolve this issue without further delay.

      We want to assure you that your case has been escalated to our specialized team, who have been actively reviewing all documentation and communications you've provided. We truly appreciate your patience as they work through the details.

      To clarify the current status that has also been made aware to you via email on August 1, Melio is not holding funds on any payments from your clients. While your clients may have scheduled payments to your business, those payments have not been processed or collected by Melio. As a result, there are no funds currently being withheld.

      We understand this may be confusing, especially when payment scheduling can give the impression that funds are en route. However, until payments are successfully debited from your clients accounts, they cannot be considered as received or held by Melio. If your clients believe they have made payments that have not reached you, we encourage them to contact Melio support directly so we can look into their specific cases.

      Again, we sincerely apologize for any lack of direct communication and the delays you've experienced. We understand how this can feel, particularly after many years of working together without issue. Your feedback is extremely important to us, and we are committed to resolving this matter as quickly and transparently as possible.

      We really tried to use this service but it does not work. I theory it is great and cost less then other services but don't waste your money. My vendors could not pay through the link. They showed me in person how they would click on the link to pay and it would not go through. We contacted customer support and was told they just need to delete their account and start over. My customers are not going to spend time doing something that does not work so they can pay me. I received pay receipts with other companies names on it, not the one who paid the invoice. That company had no affiliation whatsoever with the name on the invoice. Contacted Melio again and again they said it was my issue because they could not see how or why it happened. After 2 of my customers said they refused to use my services if they had to pay through Melio and the headache it has caused I decided I no longer wanted to use Melio and asked for a refund. I am not able to use their service and they can't find the reason why my customers are having issues. They refused and said it not not refundable. The worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. I almost feel like it is a scam.

      I can see why Melio is not BBB accredited. They cannot be trusted to handle your money. Specifically they charge you even if you chose to have delayed deposits. This tells me they are using/banking your money for themselves and charging all customers one way or another. Do NOT TRUST their accounting.

      A few months back Melio started offering plans and put on a timeframe to enroll at a discount. I saw support for taxes and 1099 and enrolled. Once tax season came their platform wouldn't work, I reached out to support and was told on two occasions it was fixed... Still didn't work. As tax help was the only feature I needed I asked for a refund. You would think if the features you needed didn't work they would facilitate you, nope. I sent in a plea for my case, followed up 2x and was told "they're working on it" waited a month in between communications until I followed up again after receiving no response.They did offer $150 credit towards their platform but I've stopped using them completely. Waste of time and money

      App is not intuitive. You have to go look for information. They delayed a ******* looking for an invoice file upload. The app did not make clear this was necessary and the email notice went to junk mail. Help chat is entirely useless and there is no place to provide actual feedback. So yeah pretty much *****

      I've been so familiar with Melio for a while, and it's truly a game-changer for managing business payments. The platform is user-friendly, transactions are smooth, and the ability to pay vendors via ACH or card (even if they only accept checks) is a huge plus.       This is specific for their integration with ****************. May 2024 "pay your bills" by Melio broken. 60 emails between May and Oct 2024, 5 MONTHS!!, finally the issue is fixed just before Melio started charging for their product on the native platform. Dec 27th 2024, broken again, with same error, my assumption is some issue with the integration. Opened ticket with both *********** and Melio. No transparency at all about what the issue is but *********** confirmed MANY people are complaining about the issue. 1 week later, still no fix or follow up.This product is the replacement for the generic "bill pay" on the *********** business platform. There is NO alternative available. I have wasted so many phone calls and my time with these people and they just don't seem to care at all about resolving the problem quickly. You all need to do better.
