On March 17, 2024, at 3:30pm I dropped my car off at the ************************** (****************************************) which is owned by Manhattan Parking Group. When I picked up my car one hour later at 4:30pm, the crystal **** shifter in my car had been ripped off by a parking attendant, who I assume was unfamiliar with this type of automatic gear shifter. I filled out and submitted an MPG Incident Report Form on site and was told by the garage manager that someone from the MPG ******************* would be contacting me within two weeks to resolve the issue. After not hearing from MPG after over two weeks, I emailed them on April 3, 2024, to follow up and two days later (April 5, 2024) *************************** replied saying they were in receipt of my email and that she would follow up with her office and get back to me. Since ******************************* email on April 5, 2024, I have not once heard back from them and I have been following up with at least one email or phone call every week.I contacted a local ***** dealership and was quoted $1,100 to repair the damage to my car (parts and labor). The entire gear mechanism will need to be replaced and due to ***** programming in the car, only they can provide the parts and labor.

On 04/02/2024 I parked my ***** Civic at MPG Manhattan Parking on *****************. I checked the vehicle in at approximately 8:40am and it was undamaged. I returned to pick it up at approximately 12:40pm which is when I found my car wrecked. The parking attendant ***************************** brought my vehicle and walked out the car without saying anything. It was not until I raised notice of the damage that anything regarding the car was said. I filed an incident report the same day and it has now been a week and there is still no response. I tried calling the customer service number on the company website *************) but each time no one answers the phone. I have left voicemails and have not gotten a call back. I went back to the garage location to inquire about the incident and they gave me no response. My car is a brand new 2024 ***** Civic, not even two months old which is why I was parking it in a garage, I thought it would be safer than parking it on the street, apparently not. The back door on the driver's side is all scratched and dent, the cost to repair it will be high. From the other complaints I have seen on BBB it is clear that MPG has been refusing to fix many people's car. This is unacceptable! I need my car fixed as it is the only means for me to get to and from work. If they keep avoiding and refusing to pay for the damages I will be taking them to court!

On 4/2/2024 at 10:58pm I parked my 2024 Buick Encore at the *************************************************************** garage. Upon inspection there was extensive collision damage to the rear of my vehicle. The manager had me fill out a claim form and told me to take a picture of the form and email it to their office and he would submit the original to the company and someone from the office would contact **** emailed as requested and subsequently left a message and no one has returned my call.

3/31-4/1 I rate my experience with the parking garage as zero stars. My husband, our children, and I visited the city for Easter. Upon dropping off our car, we inquired about the need for extra time. Assuming we wouldn't require it, I declined. This led me to believe the garage remained open past 11:30 pm, as why else would extra time be an option? However, neither my confirmation nor the staff informed us of the 12:00 am closing time. When we realized our mistake and attempted to extend our parking time online, I discovered I didn't have an account and couldn't create one without a customer number. Despite calling the provided number and sending emails, we received no response. Arriving at the garage at 12:12 am, we found it locked. The signage indicating closure wasn't visible from where we dropped off our car. We had to search frantically for available accommodations, only to find all hotels booked. Unable to book online for immediate check-in, we were left stranded on the street with our children. Multiple individuals we encountered confirmed that such incidents were common with this garage. The workers and owners should be ashamed of these poor business practices. In addition to hotel costs, we incurred an extra fee to retrieve our car. We live in **. This experience tarnished our magical evening in ****I hope this does not happen to anyone else ever. I would like the money I had to spend for a hotel and the additional cost for my car reimbursed. Fees $21 car Hotel $220 A receipt for the hotel will be provided upon request. We left the hotel quickly this morning as we needed to rush back to **. I have work at 9:00 am. It is currently 7:48 am. I was double-charged by a merchant for my parking fees in February. On the 1st of February, I used my friend's credit card to pay for the fees. However, on the 4th of February, the merchant charged me again for the same payment. I have sent multiple emails to the merchant, but they have refused to refund me for one of the payments. Under the attachment, you can found two payments were paid fro my car which plate number is "******** ***

When we parked our car at MP50 located on ********************, the valet driver backed the back of our car into a pillar, causing scratches and dents. The incident took place on July 24th at around 8:30am. The garage manager confirmed the damage on July 30th. I provided the video evidence from the dashcam, and the incident report to ***************************, from the MPG claims department, via email on July 29th and august 22nd, respectively. It's been over 4 months since I heard back from ***** despite multiple follow up emails, calls, and voice messages. Also as discussed over email, the damage has loosened the spare wheel cover behind my car. If the cover falls off, it could cause additional damage, including damage to others.I'm looking for MPG parking to schedule the relevant repairs required, at no cost to me, and be responsible for any follow on damages caused by the loosened spare wheel.

I used Manhattan Parking Group on 18th Street (I believe) in ***. I was attending a show at ***********. I was given this location by the venue. I booked my parking online and the quote was $25 or $21 with a code (from the venue). I went to park my car, attended the show, etc...., my car was parked for an hour and a half (if that) and the attendant was charging me $40 to get my vehicle. I tried to explain the price I was given, he did no understand or speak English well at all. I agreed to pay the $40 and contact the management the next day, however, now the CC/Debit Card machine is broken. I asked for an ATM, however, he did not understand. After unplugging and plugging the machine back in several times and helping other people, another half an hour had passed and I was charged $50 to retrieve my vehicle. $50 for an hour and a half. From drop off, to first attempting to retrieve, an hour and a half (if that) $50. I have emailed numerous times, called numerous times, left numerous voicemails to no avail.

I am a long term parking customer at 42nd St ********************** location. During the first week of May 2023, a chemical substance dripped from the ceiling above my car and permanently damaged the paint on my driver's side door. The lovely manager at the site submitted my photos and incident report. No response for weeks. I finally reached out to ***************************, head of claims department. As other complaints have indicated, no one ever answers the phone at the main number or returns messages. I finally reached her by email and she told me she never received the documents. Even though I assumed she was giving me the run around I sent the documents again directly to her. Including an estimate for the repair. Over the next two months she rarely returned my email. At one point she offered to have one of her supervisors meet me at the car to observe the damage. I tried to schedule this meeting repeatedly and she never followed up. They clearly ignore all complaints and hope people just give up. I told her that I would not let this incident slide. In mid July she sent an email saying she had authorized payment. When I inquired as to when and how I would receive payment-no response. The last time I heard from her was when she emailed me that, "I will call you on Wednesday." That call never came and the email was already weeks ago. Next step I will be taking them to court.

Good Evening BBB,My name is ***************************. I checked the vehicle in @ 6:32am and the vehicle was undamaged. When I came back to pick the vehicle @ approximately 4:40pm the parking attendant ***** explained that he had bad news to tell Me. I reached out to the person who handles insurance claims @ MPG parking. Her name is ***************************. I have communicated with ******************* numerous times via email, text and phone thru out 2020 and 2021. Incident Details: On 4/22/2023, I dropped off my car at MPG Manhattan Parking at **************** and handed over the keys to their valet attendant. Shockingly, the valet attendant drove my car at full speed and collided with a parked van inside the garage premises, causing significant damage to my vehicle. I was not notified of the incident until three days later, on 4/25/2023, when garage supervisor ******** finally contacted me.Extent of Damage: The extent of the damage to my vehicle was severe and required extensive repairs. The following components were affected: left front headlights, hood, bumper, grill, radiator, fender, wheels, suspension, roof, and front door. The repair costs amounted to $7092.19 which I had to pay out of pocket due to MPG Manhattan Parkings reluctance to provide a fair and accurate estimate.Uncooperative Behavior: Despite the garages acknowledgment of responsibility, both ***** from the claims department and the adjuster have been uncooperative throughout this process. My attempts to request a revised estimate were met with resistance and indifference, leaving me with no other choice but to seek assistance from my insurance company, Geico, to facilitate the repairs promptly.Lack of Responsiveness: To make matters worse, ***** has been unresponsive to ***** and my repeated attempts to obtain their insurance information for the claim settlement. Promised callbacks with the necessary details have gone unfulfilled. The one-time ***** called Geico, she used evasive tactics such as placing the Geico call on hold for an extended period and then disconnecting it. Conclusion: I am deeply disappointed with the lack of ethics and insensitivity displayed by at MPG Manhattan Parking and their claim employee throughout this entire ordeal. Their negligence caused severe inconvenience and financial burden on my part, and their refusal to cooperate in the aftermath of the incident is both unprofessional and unacceptable.
