    On June 6th, 2025 I made the mistake of booking a property in the wrong state. within minutes of doing so I called booking.com to cancel that because of the mistake. I was placed on hold for the lady to call the property. She came back to tell me it was cancelled and taken care of. On June 13th, I called the property because I still had not gotten any answers from Booking.com. I was told by the property that if Booking.com would have called them when the mistake first happened on the 6th they would have agreed to refund my money, but they did not contact the property until June 11th, and because it had been 5 days and they already lost on the room and booking.com had already charged them, so they would not refund anything. Booking.com lied to me about contacting the property and because of that I did not get my refund from the room and also had to spend more money on booking the correct room. I have called booking several times over the month and I have been hung up on twice after being on hold for 20 minutes and then for 56 minutes. I will NEVER use booking.com again and UNLESS you are perfect and never make a mistake, I suggest NO ONE else use them either. Even though I called as soon as the mistake happened and was told it was ok and was taken care of, they did not take care of it and now refuse to refund my money!! They blame it on the property for not refunding it, but the property clearly told me they would not refund it because Booking.com did not contact them when the mistake happened!! To me booking.com should have refund my money.

    I booked a two-night hotel reservation through ************** on JULY 10 2025, 2025, under the impression that I was dealing directly with the hotel. The total charge was $2234.07, which included $344.96 in "Tax Recovery and Fees"a hefty markup over the hotel's standard taxes. n Upon realizing the mistake, I attempted to cancel the reservation, but was informed the reservation was NONfundable When I got my itinerary the dates I chose were wrong /changed When I attempted to speak with a customer service representative, my call was dropped. I believe this booking process was highly misleading, as the website mimicked the hotel's official site (including photos, page layout, and exact wording), and the non-refundable policy was not clearly disclosed. I am requesting a FULL REFUND still owed) due to these deceptive practices. I am disputing this charge as this business fraudulently misrepresented itself and was intentionally misleading.

    I booked a room then had to cancel. I was told there would be a $175.00 charge for the cancellation and paid it. I then get charged for the two nights I cancelled. I asked for a refund and was sent back and forth from the hotel to booking.com and now day 6 of no answers, I did a 3 way phone call between the two businesses. Booking.com failed to cancel the rooms properly and the manager of the hotel advised me the supervisor and her agreed I should pay for one night due to their negligence. This was not discussed with me, nor was it in the cancellation online form I acknowledged. I am out $205.99 due to booking.com being unethical and untruthful to me placing the blame on the hotel. Once again, after hearing the conversation between the hotel and booking.com representative, it is very clear that they are negligent. I asked for a supervisor and was put on hold. The representative I had just spoken with said "as we said before, it is in the review process." I do not recommend booking.com for any services. Their dishonesty and negligence in this matter and I'm sure others matters are disreputable.

    Used this site for a hotel room out of desperation to sleep in a cool environment during a heat wave. The site worked smoothly until I got to the hotel and found out my reservation was for the next day and not the night I need it for. The hotel issued told me they will not charge me for the room. I then went back to site to request a refund from Booking.com. Almost three weeks later still no answer from Booking.com and to make matters worse they still have not responded to my request after several emails asking for a response or refund.

    They do not deserve a star. The post the price for a Hotel but it changes after you confirm your reservation, they hang up on you, do not return emails, state they will do Price Match if you find a better price but do not honor it, even after they say they will.I do not think they are a legitimate company.

    They are rip offs I paid a fee to be able to cancel without charges or penalties. When I cancelled the reservations first I was told my first cash didnt cancel the reservation. The second time I cashed I was charged a ****** to cancel to revive my resting of $1091.78 and its been a month , and no refunds yet. I call every two and each time its going to take ***** business days

    I was ensured per email that I will receive a refund for 8 nights stay at *********** in ******. After several months and many phone calls and other attempts to receive it, i am being avoided and have been unable to go foreword with this complaint. I have copy of reservation number and the email confirming my refund.

    While PCSing from **** wa to ************ **. While driving to my last leg of the trip. Made an honest mistake book a stay in *********** instead of ***********. I 430pm called the hotel but they couldnt help due to stay being booked on booking .com. Called their customer service waited on hold for 35 min on hold. For them to tell they call the location in **. they told me they have 45 min to respond from them with the accommodations. I explained from the beginning that I was in a different. I waited for two hours with no response. I then called them back again to booking customer support. Waited on hold for 30 minutes and when they picked. I stated that I have been waiting two hours for a response that never came and that it was 1100 pm. She then put me on hold and left me on hold. She just ended sending me emails responding. Sorry but we cant help. I was charged 208. For something I never even stayed at and even though I on the site it said I had until 134am to cancel for free. Thank you for stealing money from a disabled veteran.

    Booked a ********** thru Booking.com . The hotel was a total disaster and fake photos online . Tried for weeks to get a hold of booking to no avail . Kept sending" needing info " of which I gave FIVE time's but still get the same automated responce. NEVER had such bad , or rather NO CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER PIERIOD ! !!!!

    They cancelled my reservation 5 days before my trip and i had to pay almost double for the late reservation! Dont call because that is a waste of your time, customer service are puppets reading off a script.
