    Terrible Experience Avoid at All Costs I unknowingly booked one of the worst hotels I've ever encountered. Upon arrival, I was told my reservation wasn't even registered in their system, and it took over an hour to sort out the issue. The cleaning conditions were so poor that I decided to cancel the booking immediately.However, the hotel refused to process the cancellation, claiming they couldn't issue a refund. Even though I made the booking through this website, it acted merely as a middleman and took no responsibility for resolving the issue. Absolutely unacceptable.I strongly advise against using this platform or booking this hotel. Total waste of time and money.

    Avoid Agoda at all costs. Booked a property through them and was left stranded outside at 1:30 because check instructions were not correct. Agoda could not reach property owner so I spent the night in the lobby of a nearby police station. The phone number that Agoda has for the property manager is not a valid number, so you're completely on your own. Agoda did not find me another place to stay so I when to the nearby police station to stay warm. Agoda also refusing to give me a refund after spending well over 6 hours explaining the same issue to 5 different agents. Will be requesting a chargeback and contacting better business bureau.

    Completed Agoda website form to book reservation in a motel. Entry of personal information was required, including name, phone number, email address, debit card number, expiration date, security code, and bank name. Pressed the proceed button on their website. Nothing happened except that their website appeared to processing the data....for over 15 minutes. During that time, called the motel. They said Agoda did not send the reservation to them. Called Agoda over the next hour over 20 times. Could not get a human being, and their robotic communication prevention computer could not understand my thick American accent of my phone's DTMF tones. No email received from Agoda. No reservation number or receipt. Finally got a message saying the rate was no longer available.
    Unable to reach Agoda to discern whether or not my account was charged. No human beings available at any phone number on their website or ******. BBB website has no phone number at which they can be reached.
    Apparently they are based in another country and do not confirm to Best Practices of the reservation industry. That foreign company, Agoda, employs the exact same tactics and strategies of an organized criminal enterprise. No appeal, no records, no receipts, no humans to speak to. Their whole business model is built on fraud, a pretense of being a legitimate business, no observation of or respect for customer rights, customer service minimum standards, constitutional rights, civil rights, human rights, statutory rights, regulatory rights. Deceptive business practices is their policy. Inadequately programmed website pages are their means of soliciting and phishing for victim's banking information, which can then be used by them at will, or sold to any high bidder on the black market!
    Legitimate businesses have ombudsmen, problem resolution representatives, or customer services agents. Agoda does not. A class action lawsuit appears to be their only method of dealing w/issues.

    Tried coming in after the front desk told me it was ok to change my dates from tomorrow night to tonight, she told me to come in. I came all the way down, only for her to tell me she cant. She couldve told me over the phone instead of wasting my time and gas and money. She told me to call the site I booked, they told me to cancel and it would be in my account. They failed to tell me it would be within 30 days. So now my reservation is canceled and Im on the streets tonight because of the ineptitude of the staff here and the inability to properly communicate what needed to be done before. I did everything I was told to do and I ended up getting ****** as a result. Another ****** reservation from the Sleazy-8!!! Thanks for s******* me over!!!The EZ 8 and Agoda are trash

    Booked a hotel with this company and it was a horrible hotel. We asked to leave one day early because our trip got canceled and the hotel supposedly granted our request and that we could get our money back for the one night which was over $100 but instead they gave us a runaround and said they couldnt contact the hotel and it was just a big scam. Stay away from this booking site. Its dishonest.

    Agoda is a terrible company - they took my money and when I checked into the hotel, the hotel told me that Agoda had not paid them for the hotel. Then I had to pay for the hotel again directly to the hotel. When I tried to get a refund from Agoda, they have jerked me around for 8 weeks even though Agoda is aware that they had not paid the hotel the full amount of my reservation. I still have not received my refund. Do not use Agoda.

    Stay away!!! Booked a hotel for a weekend anniversary trip. Called the hotel before we left with a question and they had no record of us. Had paid in full through Agoda but there was no reservation under our name at the hotel. Had to open a dispute with my credit card and they fully credited my account.

    I am very disappointed in this website abilities to conduct business. The customer service chat never allows me to speak with some directly and the answers they have prepopulated are useless. I booked a room on this site on May 13th for $54.14 and received a confirmation email. We stayed at the hotel then the next day the hotel staff advised me the reservation was canceled by Agoda and we couldn't stay at the hotel any longer. Agoda canceled my reservation thinking the card used was fraudulently but never once contacted me or my credit card company. It was very embarrassing to be thrown out of the hotel and treated as if I comited a crime. If Agoda Had just contacted me directly I could of explained I authorized the transaction and stayed at the hotel the next night.

    Booked a reservation through AAdvantage Hotels which uses Agoda. At time of booking, it was non-refundable. I had a schedule change and reached out to customer service. **************** contacted the hotel and advised that they would only charge me for the nights that were not resold. I confirmed with the hotel that all nights were rebooked and the hotel REFUNDED Agoda. I continue to be in correspondence with ********* and Agoda is REFUSING to REFUND even though they were the ones that provided the resolution and the hotel REFUNDED. Agoda is a scam and has very poor customer service.

    We tried booking a hotel with Agoda and got the worst hotel Ive ever been in, with worse customer service and then ********************** burdens me to prove the claims stating the hotel has CCTV- any CCTV would show my attempts to resolve the issue with customer service who ignored me and pushed us off. Agoda put me and my child in a dangerous situation
