  I tried to book with AGODA and they sent me an email (which I saved) saying my payment did not go through. So I tried again (exact same date/times) and this time it went through. But then I found out I had two of the exact same bookings. I contacted AGODA to cancel one of them and they WOULD NOT REFUND the other even though it was THEIR MISTAKE. Do NOT use AGODA!

  Beware! The message system built into the ************* does not allow hotels to send you external links for online check-in (they block them "for your security"). because of this I couldn't get the link I needed. because of that they hotel forced me to pay for the night anyway even though I couldn't check in. (It's a hotel in **** that doesn't have a front desk it's all TurnKey administered through online and pin code access to the hotel and room so an online check-in is required.) Agoda supported the hotel, no refund deserved, despite it being a failure of their messaging system design. I won't use them ever again. I spent almost 8 hours over 2 days messaging with their customer service team who just couldn't understand the issue - despite it being crystal clear that it's not my fault - and just kept siding with the hotel when it's Agodas issue if anybody's.

  Do mot use this site, agoda, They do not want to take responsibility for letting people book thru their website advertising their apts under hotels and not taking them off their platform! Beware!

  Never book hotel or anything from agoda i booked a hotel and cancelled within 8 mins they charged me penalty of 60% of the booking amount within 16 days, not realizing they charged me penalty they sent very long email with penalty all the way to the bottom of the page which i did not notice and rebooked the hotel again, now after numerous calls with agoda they me wait 48 hours and not refund the penalty, so i filed dispute with ****. Never book anything from agoda terrible customer service its a fraud.

  DO NOT USE AGODA UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I lost money at this site. Deceptive bait-and-swiTch tactics. Unreliable and untrustworthy. I will never use Agoda again.

  Booked ************************* THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. THIS IS A LIVE CONSTRUCTION SITE. By far the worst hotel experience. We booked 2 nights. Upon arrival the entire exterior of the building was covered by scaffolding, ok no big deal. We arrived an hour earlier and had to wait to check in, again no big deal.When we did check in and got off the elevator of our floor... the entire floor was a live construction site. We get into our room and I opened the curtains to workers on scaffolding 1 foot away, fantastic. We drop off our stuff and leave thinking after working hours workers will be done for the day.While out we are informed about a death in the family. We come back at 8pm, workers are still there. It's cold in the room and we realize the heat doesn't work, only a plug in heater that can't regulate temp. We change our flight to leave the next day due to the tragedy. Workers continue to work until 1am, hammers banging, talking, etc. Untraceable smoke detectors went off twice in the dead of night. The room is also either ice cold or too hot due to the plug in ********* the morning we ask to get reimbursed for the night we are no longer staying because of the tragedy. We didn't even ask to get reimbursed for paying full price to sleep in a construction site the previous night. Clerk gives me contact info for manager. Manager will not reimburse for the 2nd night we didn't spend there.

  Terrible experience terrible company based in ********.. this company is shady is like likely you will not get your room for the price is listed pay twice as much and go somewhere else. It will be cheaper in the long run.

  I had a terrible experience with Agoda and would warn others to be cautious. I attempted to check hotel availability, and the only option was a Send Request buttonthere was no Booking button at all. However, to my shock, Agoda confirmed the booking on my behalf without my approval.When I disputed the charge with my credit card company, Agoda provided a screenshot showing a Booking button that I never saw, making it seem like I had intentionally confirmed the reservation. This feels like fraudno booking should ever be confirmed without clear consent from the customer!To make matters worse, ********************** refused to resolve the issue. I was left with a booking I never intended to make, with no way to cancel or get a refund. This is a deceptive and unethical practice. I strongly advise avoiding Agoda, as they do not take responsibility for their own mistakes!

  This company is a scam. I booked a room at the ************ and physically could not get to the room due to a severe snowstorm that shut down all the highways and access to the park. When I called the manager of the hotel, she said that they didnt even book the correct room that I paid for. I paid for a queen room with a bathroom and they booked me for a queen room with no bathroom. Im going to lied and said that they could not get a hold of the hotel but the manager said nobody has reached out and that they have a season to assist with this company.
