    On June 5, 2024, I ordered a pair of shoes from Meermin US (Order U-0705679879) and paid $293 CAD ($272.00 for the shoes and $21 for delivery). The order was shipped via ************* Expedited (tracking number: ******************). Upon receiving the order, I had to pay $50.51 in brokerage and import fees. Due to poor quality and a sizing error, I returned the shoes for an exchange on June 12, 2024, paying $44.25 for return shipping (tracking number: ******************).On June 28, 2024, Meermin sent the exchange order (******************), this time using *** Standard Ground (tracking number: ******************). When I received the package, I was charged $146.16 in brokerage and import fees. Since paying over $500 for these shoes was not part of my plan, on August 1, 2024 I returned the shoes again, paying $44.04 for return shipping (tracking number: ******************).Despite contacting Meermin, Canada Customs, and ***, my issue remains unresolved. I have spent $577.97 on these shoes and received back only $66.20 from Canada Customs and $272 from Meermin. I havent received any explanation from Meermin about why did they choose a service that was three times more expensive to send my exchange order. When I asked for clarification, they said that if I didnt receive and pay the full amount requested from me, it would be deducted from my refund. I believe Meermin acted unfair in this situation.

    I made a purchase online for some online loafers. The shoes came promptly. I ordered the shoes to wear for a wedding. I didnt notice that they were defective until a couple of weeks after I had them. I never wore the shoes. Once I noticed the defect, I called the store and they directed me to the online email since my purchase was made online. I reached out repeatedly for multiple days through the online. Email sent photos multiple times just to receive back messages that this is part of the shoemaking process. They were not able to view my photos properly, so I asked someone after five days of emailing to just send me a return label so I can return the shoe and get another shoe. I clearly expressed that I was purchasing the shoes for an event. They made me pay to ship the shoes back to them. After receiving the shoes, a couple of days later, they sent a pair of shoes to me that still have not gotten here. I cant speak to anyone theres just email. I clearly asked if they could overnight or express ship the shoes since this is for an event and they took so long to send a return label. Not only did they not ship my shoes express the ship through *** that went to the US ************** and now Im slated to get my shoes three weeks from now. I cant get anyone to accept responsibility or to make the situation right.

    11/24/23 Amount of $136.50 for damage pair,399 was the total.Order number U-********** The product arrived with damage on the side as seen in the pictures and I informed the company but they replied with this in there email.(Unfortunately as listed in site our sales are final sales so that we cannot accept returns or exchanges.Also listed in our FAQ) They will not do anything since it was a sale item but spending that much money on a pair of dress shoes and there damaged is unfair.

    Meermin has blatantly stole from me. Let me explain the situation.I ordered a pair of boots on the website on accident by going to check the price on the cart and there was no cart, so I accidentally pressed order instead of continue. After realizing this I immediately emailed the company for a refund. After 6 hours of waiting, they finally responded, and they said that it was too late as they were shipped and I could not get my refund. I was baffled as to they could ignore my multiple requested emails for 6 hours before telling me no. Not only did they tell me no, but they said this "Please note in case you refuse the package from delivery company the shipping cost and any other costs courier will extra charge us will be removed from your refund." I asked them if there was any way to get a refund and they said this "Ones you receive the package you can send it back to us and specify us the Exchange you would like to get."How can a company ignore my request to cancel an order and ignore a return completely is beyond me. There is more to the story here. I had no choice but to call ***** directly to refuse shipping prior to it coming to my door. After I did this they said the following: "We cannot accept this return as when you requested for editing oder it was already packed, and picked by courier, we were unable to stop it, and as said our sales were finalindicated in website"After all this I got my proof of return from ***** sent to them, so at this point, I have returned the boots back to the company, I do not have any boots from them, the boots are in their possession and I still have not yet gotten a refund.This is the shadiest and worst experience I have ever had dealing with an online order and customer service. I have done everything in my power to get this refund and I will not stop until I get it back.This is honestly something I have not experienced and I know they have to do what is right.

    They issued a partial refund, of 393 dollars not including shipping after 4 weeks of battling with them and sending proof the boots were sent back. I still think my experience working with this company is still the worst I've ever experienced. I think they're ***** to not issue a full refund including shipping.

    I bought a pair of shoes online. The pair was on sale and specified no returns or refunds, which I was okay with, as I have purchased from the seller before and know my shoe size. If I had bought the wrong size or the product was scuffed, Id understand not being able to return the purchase. The issue, however, is that the product is simply nonfunctional as a shoe: it is not possible for *anyone* to get their foot into the shoe; the opening is simply too small. I ordered my pair of shoes half a size up, to be safe. In my exchanges with customer service, they sent a sizing chart that corroborates that my foot dimensions should fit with ample room in the chosen size. Seeing in the chart that I didnt make a mistake when choosing a shoe size, it became clear that the design is faulty: I am unable to put on a shoe that is half a size larger than my foot. After explaining to customer service that Id ordered half a size up following their sizing chart and was still unable to put the boot on, all communication stopped and they have been impossible to get a hold of for a month. All of my exchanges up until that point were understanding and polite, simply seeking resolution.Im willing to take store credit, but what Im not willing to do is be stuck with a pair of boots that they sold knowing full well 1) does not follow their very specific sizing guidelines and 2) is not possible to resell because the shoes simply are not possible for anyone to wear, no matter how small their feet are (and my feet are small).The fact that all communication ceased once I showed that I had followed their guide, ordered a larger size, and was still unable to even get my foot in the boot could imply that they are aware that this product is faulty. A cynic would wonder if that particular shoe model was on sale in order to clear their stock of a product they knew was defective, using a no returns or refunds policy to prevent them from ending up with product that cannot be sold.

    I was contacted the very next day after submitting my complaint to the BBB. In this response, they claimed that they had offered me "to send for exchange or store credit sir [sic] al ready a month ago", which is blatantly false, as can be seen in the initial emails in my original complaint. Despite this, I responded that I wanted store credit, which didn't receive an answer. A couple of weeks later, I shipped back the shoes in question at my own expense and provided customer service with the tracking number. This also didn't receive a reply. I have not heard back from them since. No email has been received detailing I've been given store credit, nor acknowledging that I sent back the shoes in question.
