    Bought a dehumidifier from them off Amazon.. After 2 months it froze up and stopped working. I contacted them for support and they started to help me, but when they realized the until needed to be replaced they told me they would not honor the warranty because i purchased from Amazon?$300 spent with them and they treat their customers like garbage.

    This review is for the Homelabs dehumidifier HME020031N 50 pint.I went through two of these. First one failed after one year only using it during the summer. Compressor overheated thus stop working. Fortunately it was under warranty and they sent another brand new one on 10/2021 and that one just failed 5/28/2024. I turn on the dehumidifier in my basement only during the summer months (June to September) 4 months out of the year. This one does not collect water even though the basement is at ~65% humidity. Coils in back do not get cold at all and compressor is extremely hot thus a safety factor. Contacted company and said warranty expired and I should by a new one. They did offer 20% off but I declined since their products are not reliable.

    I have installed a 50 pint dehumidifier from hOmeLabs in a 600 sq ft lower level walkout room each of the last 3 years beginning in 2021. Each time the unit has started working fine but not lasted a full year. Most recently, it iced up on two occasions and I allowed it to melt before plugging it in again. It has now run for 48 hours without icing and not removed one drop of water. I called the Home customer service number today and the message was it "could not be reached at this time". I tried the chat on their website and that did not work either. I'll have to give it one star I guess but that is for appearance only, not performance. I do not expect any customer service and if you are thinking about buying a unit from hOmeLabs, run the other way.

    Purchased a 50 pint capacity dehumidifier from them and it started leaking from the bottom. I went to they're website where they boast "free lifetime support". I contacted Homelabs and they suggested unplugging the unit and plugging it back in? Well, needless to say that did not fix the dehumidifier and when I went to reply , They already closed my service claim.? Terrible company support. And product support. Buy from another company.

    I ordered a hOmeLabs | ****** BTU Wi-Fi Window Air Conditioner directly from they site. I needed a certain size and they had the correct size and great price. When the unit came to my house, the measurements (L x H x D) were completely off! I emailed them, as you cannot contact them any other way and requested to return it and get the correct one I ordered. They then told me that they do not sell that size units anymore and that the measurement of this unit was a mistake on their website. They were going to fix it. Not fixed as of yet!! They told me they do not have the one I bought on their website. Now I am sitting with an AC I cannot use! They are very deceiving and customer service is horrible. Do not buy anything from this company!!!

    I would not trust other online reviews. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I purchased a $275 dehumidifier. I used it to work and area of ***** sq ft - it was advertised to work for a ***** sq ft hose. The 1st summer we used it, it was great. The following summer it never turned back on and is broke. I contacted the company via online chat and phone - they had me do a few things to see if it would kick on. Nothing worked. When I reached back to report that it didn't work - I was ignored. I have been sending communications for over a year and this week I just heard back that "unfortunately, I am out of my 2 year warranty." I purchased on amazon b/c of strong reviews. They offered me 20% off to buy a new unit... a $275 machine was asked to do 1/4 of its capable job for 3 months and you want me to buy another one? Avoid at all cost. Best of luck.
