  This is a very frustrating company to work with when you receive an item that is not as described. I would recommend shopping on another reselling platform that actually cares about its customers.

  This business is robbing people! They have installed AI to change people's listings to the shipping label they think it should have. They have 6 label options for sellers to select for the item they are listing. But if their system thinks it should weigh more, they are changing it. For instance, I just sold a sweatshirt that weighs under 15oz, which should be $7.99 They changed it & charged the buyer for the $11.99 label which covers up to 2lbs. That's a $4. upcharge that was not necessary, plus this also increases the buyers tax due, and the seller's processing fee. So they are robbing ***************** AI is not human & should not be put into place when it comes to people's finances nor to banning accounts for things it reads wrongly. They need to be stopped.

  customer service is terrible and takes a week to reply. they refunded customers without my authorization nor gave me the option to receive a return. now they are just holding my money for no reason.

  I'm filing a legal claim against depop, as I have delightfully sufficient documentation proving they knowingly coerce minors aged ***** into predatory online activity. Furthermore, they unlawfully demand children provide SSN. They attempt to justify this by stating they are simply enforcing "United States tax reporting regulations." Can they be that naive to simply not acknowledge the *** 600-dollar rule, implemented in American Rescue Plan Act of 2021

  Depop is a buying and reselling app/Website for clothing. I bought a lululemon tank top off of Depop which did not fit me so I delisted it to sell using the same information I was given. The tag was ripped out so I could not verify the size. A new buyer bought it and filed a complaint with Depop that it was the wrong size and Depop decided to give the buyer a refund and let them keep the item. It was a total scam on my end because they would not pay me for the tank top off return it to me. They just believed the buyer even though there was no proof, and completely screwed me over.

  Used to be alright until an AI update to the selling feature (not to mention multiple inconsistencies with items being misrepresented). Now they're overcharging buyers on the shipping fees, which they're probably pocketing the overage and claiming there's no seller fees. Come on DePop you can do better!

  Bought an item listed as medium, item was actually a large. Depop said theres nothing wrong listing the item as the wrong size and Im have to take the loss.

  I truly supported this app until they failed to protect the buyers. I bought a dress by accident and asked the seller if she could cancel. She ignored my message until I told her I didn't want it. She sent it anyway, lied about the damage to the dress, and became hostile when I left a bad review. The review stated that the dress was damaged, torn, and had foundation and armpit stains, which she had not disclosed she only said about the red stain. I disputed the charge with my bank, and now the company is treating me with hostility or revenge because I want my money back. I thought you would protect the buyers instead of the sellers, especially since she has multiple reviews with the same problems. I will not support this company again.

  This company needs to be SHUT DOWN. There are thousands of scammers running amok and Depop does nothing to fix it, and ALWAYS takes their side. Depop is literally allowing theft to occur on their app. There is absolutely zero Seller protection, no way to contact an actual human, and abhorrent AI customer service that repeats the same paragraph no matter how many times you email them. They are ripping people off left and right and nothing is being done about it. I have had lying buyers raise absolutely ludicrous claims against me, lying about items being missing or "not as described" so they can scam and get their money back while keeping the clothes. And even with full video and photo evidence, Depop takes these scammers' sides and forces you to refund them. I will NEVER be using this app again and neither should anyone else. Horrific experience every day that I sold on here. Investigations MUST be done into company! I am thinking about taking them to small claims court or even suing.
