  Incompetent, thieves, scammers and unprofessionals. They destroyed my furniture, stole all my hair supplies that includes my wigs and hair tools. They lost my dresser legs, broke multiple of my dish-wares that was passed down to me. Ruined my mattress. Broke my lamp, a few picture frames. I have always moved my stuff with the help of friends and family but this trip was long distance so I wanted a break. I regret using this company and I recommend them to anyone. They reimburse me $2000 to shut me up but I wont stop until people are aware of how unprofessional and bad this company is. I have pictures and videos to prove everything. I moved from 10/6/23 they arrived late and if I didnt call them they wouldnt have reached out to me they arrived 10/19/23 and it has been a nightmare since. Its 11/30/23 and they still havent located my missing items that I believed their staff stole. **************** is terrible. **** and *** are rude and lack empathy and professionalism. I HIGHLY REGRET USING THIS COMPANY.

  Really awesome experience. Both the customer service and the ********************** crew were 5-star. The customer service was prompt and responsive. The moving crew are professional and efficient. We made sure to provide a comprehensive list of furniture/boxes/misc things to move so there were no surprises on the moving day. We end up with a few more boxes/bags and the moving crew took them with no problem. We really enjoyed a seamless moving experience thanks to Piece of Cake. We will recommend and use them again for our next move.

  This company is awful, I endured damages to my vehicle after an aggressive and rude driver for this company merged into my vehicle. He did not want to let me in so I yielded and his truck collided with mine midway showing his purposeful merge onto me. When I pulled up next to the driver and showed him the damage to pull over he laughed and shrugged. I had to call 911 and have them pull him over for me for the information exchange. The companies insurance reported that even after all that the driver was denying the accident. Which is insurance fraud by definition. The camera shows my car in view with no damage, then the police pulled us over and saw the damage to my vehicle. And when I called the company he still had not reported the incident and the managers had to ask him about it. I tried to report this negligence and both operations managers, ***** and *** tried to gaslight me by saying the driver didnt know he hit me, even after all of that. He violated VTL 600 1a, and they tried to offer me a 200 dollar settlement for almost 1k in damages. This company hires neglectful workers, does nothing about it, and is rude to the people who try to report the employees that give this company a bad look. The negligent driver is still employed, so imagine what would happen to your belongings. I will never use their services after this experience.

  Dear client and BBB committee,Piece of Cake Moving Team appreciates the BBB mediation effort and the feedback from our fellow New Yorker regarding the traffic incident. However, we must clarify that the information provided by *************** is incorrect. We can substantiate this with material evidence from our front vehicle surveillance camera recording, which shows that our vehicle remained in its lane while ******************* vehicle attempted to merge into incoming traffic without yielding to the vehicles with the right of way. Our vehicle was hit in the incident, but no damage occurred, so we did not pursue legal action.Our **************** and Management believe that this claim has already been addressed internally with our fellow New Yorker. Therefore, we are surprised by the involvement of a third-party committee in this matter, given the level of service and customer care we provided when our driver was not at fault but the affected party. We encourage the reviewer to take legal action if she believes she was not responsible for the collision and believes our driver was at fault, despite, in our opinion, simple and clear situation.Best regards,PoC Team

  Choosing Piece of Cake for our first move in 26 years was the BEST decision. **** came to our apartment and walked us through the process.On the day of the move, we were not 100% ready - much to our horror. ***** and his team arrived and repeatedly told us, "don't worry." After about 15 minutes of seeing them work, we realized we really didn't have to worry. They did an exceptional job getting us to our new home. Another company had said they couldn't move two IKEA wardrobes without a large additional charge and recommended just buying new ones. ***** said they could do it and made it work. He took them apart and remade them stronger for much less than their competitor. No replacements were necessary. Thank you all so much for your professionalism, patience, and kindness. We truly appreciated it.

  BEST MOVERS EVER!!!!I cannot recommend POC enough! I started to get quotes from around 30 moving companies and start understanding the number of scams (companies with no truck that resell your moves , horrible BBB reviews, surprising shuttle fees etc) on long distance moves that exist and got really scared. Piece of cake were professional from day 1. They came in person to do the inventory (Thanks ****!), they were competitively priced between ***/** and ** and they answered all my questions timely. The crew in ** (*****) packed everything in a timely manner and very well and the crew in ** (led by ******) unpack very fast and put the boxes in the designated rooms in the house. No surprise, no extras, everything included from COI to protecting my mirrors. Also it was a consolidated move (several different people belongings on a big truck going the same way) and they did inform me where my belongings were at any time. I was very impressed as I used so many moving companies on 3 continents in my life and Piece Of Cake made my life so much easier. I have to say I could never thought of having such an amazing experience with a moving companies.Thank you so much! you rock guys!!!!Date of experience: May 20, 2023

  I moved from ******** to *** in 2021 and I really valued the team -- they were diligent, expedient, respectful, and focused. I thought the prices were fair and I would hire them again.

  Worst moving company Ive ever used. They said a price at the beginning and raised that price 3 times. And on top of that I had multiple things stolen out of our boxes that they stored for 2 days and 1 night. I would not recommend this moving company to anyone Im furious about paying a ridiculous amount just to have my stuff rummaged through and stolen!! Absolutely unacceptable

  Not a happy customer. I had to cancel my ********************** date and asked for a refund days before. Im still waiting for my refund sadly and filed a dispute with my credit card.

Unfortunately, when it comes to speed of the transactions themselves, we nor any other business can affect this aspect of the process as after we initiate it on our end, the rest is on the banks, the one sending the funds and the one receiving the funds. It usually takes 1-3 business days for the funds to become visible on the statement, but on rare occasions it may take few days longer than that. Once more, businesses can not affect the speed as same as we can not affect the speed of the same process when it goes other way (us receiving the payments).
