  I was charged $155 per session and this expensive price tag was not made aware to be before I started two sessions. This price was after insurance and isn't worth it for just an hour. The billing department wasn't helpful at all either. Total scam

  DO NOT USE GROW THERAPY. I searched online couple's therapy providers, and Grow Therapy was one of my top search results. I proceeded to the website and created an account. Part of the registration process included selecting the type of therapy I was interested. I selected the couple's therapy option, and created an account. It recommended a list of providers for couple's therapy, and I selected one. In the notes to the provider, I indicated that the appointment was for couple's therapy with my partner. When we joined the call on the day of the appointment, the provider quite rudely old my partner that she couldn't speak to him since he wasn't the primary. spent the first 5 minutes addressing audio issues. Once that was resolved, she spent the next 10 minutes explaining the rules of confidentiality. She then began speaking very clinically in terms I did not understand, talking about diagnosing patients, which I thought was odd, since that wasn't necessary for this type of appointment. Once she finished wasting 15 minutes of my life that I'll never get back, she proceeded to tell me that she isn't a couple's therapist and can't provide couple's therapy. I tried to tell her that that was the type of appointment I had booked, and she interrupted me and again told me that she couldn't provide couple's therapy. We ended the call after 19 minutes. I reached out to support for a refund, since this wasn't what I paid for. Support refused to refund me, since "calls that are 15 minutes or longer are billable." No wonder the provider wasted 15 minutes before telling me she couldn't provide the service I scheduled. This company's practices are unethical at best, and illegal at worst. I DO NOT recommend that anyone use this service.

  $107.02 was taken on 7/06/25. I gave them my EAP code before this happened. I cannot reach out to anyone. GROWTH THERAPY USES AI BOTS and outsources to an unknown third party. I, literally gave my therapist the *** approval letter. THERE IS NO CONTACT PHONE NUMBER. IT IS A SCAM!!!! STAY AWAY!!!

  On June 6, 2025, I received an email from Grow Therapy stating they would not be moving forward with my application following a video interview I had with ******* ******** their Provider Growth Associate. I want to share my experience with the interview process, which I found disheartening and unprofessional. During the interview, Mr. ******* appeared disengaged and uninterested. He asked no questions about my background, showed little curiosity about my clinical expertise, and offered minimal interaction. The tone was cold and dismissive. While I had initially considered not pursuing a partnership due to how uncomfortable the exchange felt, I was still surprised to receive a generic rejection email that gave no honest feedback or reason for the decision. As an LCSW with over 20 years of experience and four of those with direct clinical exposure, I focus on treating eating disorders in women of color, an underserved population in the mental health field. While this was not directly addressed in the interview by Mr. ******** I could sense a lack of openness to my clinical focus. As a Black clinician, I've had enough experience to recognize when my identity and area of expertise are being subtly ************'s disappointing that a platform claiming to support diverse clinicians and inclusive care would allow this kind of interaction to occur. I hope Grow Therapy ensures its recruitment process is more respectful, transparent, and culturally informed moving forward.

  Horrible! They took $140 out of my bank account for ****** at one time. Theyve been consistently taking copays out of my bank account. No notice, nothing. They overdrew my account for THEIR POOR BILLING. You cant get in touch with anyone either because AI is trash.

  Grow Therapy uses AI Bots to schedule appointments. If you want to rely on a Bot to reach a therapist who best matches your needs, Grow Therapy is the best AI therapy referral service you can ask for! How do we know this? Grow Therapy sent messages that do not relate to our expressed concern. We scheduled an appointment with a therapist. The therapist fails to show up. We contacted Grow Therapy and filed a complaint. Grow Therapy sends a new therapist. But wait! They suggest the same no-show therapist! We must express our concern and explain the type of therapist we need. They do not provide live phone supportnone of their online links match our needs. The Grow Therapy Website is impossible to navigate. New therapists are AI-generated and arrive in your email without your consent. Email tech support and get boilerplate responses that do not relate to your needs. After much trouble and frustration, we are assigned a new therapist and schedule an appointment. But wait! Moments later, we receive more emails listing therapists to choose from. The Grow Therapy business model does not care about people needing therapy. It is profit-driven and uses AI Bots in place of live phone support. A class action suit against Grow Therapy should be pursued!

  This company will financially prey on your need for mental support. I booked with one of their therapist and when I seen the bill & contacted their billing **** i was told me that Grow Therapy will bill your insurance the maximum they can bill and whatever your portion is, is based on your copayment, Grow Therapy billed me and my insurance $300 for an one hour session

  Billed me without notifying me of a change in the cost of my appointments. pulled $124 out of my checking account after I specifically asked them not to. Almost over drafted me. **************** was not helpful at all. My therapist was awesome and very professional. Billing department not so much.

  Stay away!!!Unbelievable billing practices, they wait to charge you at the end of the year then hit you with a 175 charge every 3 days. Not to mention when an email comes in telling me Ill be billed tomorrow when I actually get charged 12 hours after the first email. There billing team will tell you there hands are tied. What a joke

  Beyond frustrated with this platform. I was looking for a couples therapist to work on improving the communication in my relationship. I was very clear we needed a bilingual therapist. we get on, after waiting a week or so, and the poor woman only speaks English. It wasnt her fault; the Grow Therapy platform should never have matched me with her to begin with, so it wasted her time and ours, and we got to start our search over again. So, we get connected to another therapist. This time I reach out to her as soon as we got connected to ensure she was, in face, bilingual. Yes, she is. Great, right? well, it would have been if only shed shown for the appointment!! But to make matters worse, when I log into the client portal I see shes messaged me asking if Ill be logging on. It turns out the link this Grow Therapy platform had given her and the link they had provided us didnt go to the same room. so, she could log on, we could log on, but we couldnt actually, you know, CONNECT!!!! And just to put the last little bit of icing on the cake, they dont even offer customer service support on the weekends, so when I tried to chat with a member of their customer service team, I ended up having to leave a message, via a text, so they can get back to me Monday. No, no thank you. Dont bother. I think it will be much easier and less aggravating to just close my account and find help elsewhere. Instead of helping us get the help we needed, all this place did was add to our collective anxiety. Just a complete and utter waste of time.
