      I ordered a monitoring system from Advantage Alert because I was having balance issues and wanted to be protected if I fell. They sent me a system that had continual problems. I Received a letter dated January 14, 2022 that stated that I hadn't paid my bill for monitoring services and I gave them a credit card to bring the account current through April, 30. I ended up sending the system back to them as it didn't work correctly and got service through another company. Then in February of 2024 I started getting invoices from Advantage Alert for monitoring services for the equipment that had already been returned. On 3/19/2024 I received a demand letter for $1434.50 for the equipment they said they never received back as well as monitoring services. Attached was a subscription agreement dated 4/4/2013. I have not received a copy of the original documentation showing when I originally signed up, when I cancelled and sent back the equipment, and I don't understand how I am being billed for a timeframe before I subscribed. I thought that I was being billed by the new company I currently have service with. Since I couldn't figure out the conflicting paperwork and dates I turned the matter over to my Son who has my power of attorney and he contacted an attorney who has started an investigation. I believe this company preys on older people and attempts to scare them into paying them money they aren't owed with threats of bringing a lawsuit against them. I would like alll the documents showing a contract from the first day I signed up with this company any copie of all corrssspondance they have sent me as the investigator for the attorney looked at all my documentation and advised me to request all the documentation and to file a complaint. Prior to him contacting Advatage Alert and incuring attorney fees which we would have to sue to recover.

      How do you contact Advantage Alert? My pendant broke on April 26, 2023. I have been calling all phone numbers I have for Advantage Alert and nobody ever answers a phone. There is no ability to leave a voice mail. I have been calling most every day for since my device broke. I was hoping tey could get me a replacement device. The phone numbers I've been calling:************** and ************** and ************** all ring 4/5/6 times and then you hear a busy signal.I found ************** on the internet. I call that number and there is a recording, man's voice, that states their business hours (I always call within business hours). The recording states you can press numbers to get to leave a voicemail. But you it NEVER lets you leave a voicemail. It is a continuous loop lost in the voicemail no matter what number you push.Advantage Alert continues to take $29.50 out of my bank account every month.I am have been paying for a service I have not received. I have no way to contact the company.I would like my money back so I can find a business that is reliable with their customer service.
