    Hello,

    As discussed over the phone shortly after submitting this, this complaint was wrongfully left for our company. We neither have any studies taking place in ********** nor any employee by this name. Requesting that this complaint be removed as it was incorrectly placed with Probe.

    Hello,

    As per your conversation with *****, we were notified by our client that you were reporting the package - which contained sensitive, NDA-protected equipment required for the study - as either "stolen" or "lost", claiming you never received it. Attached to this response is proof from ***** that you received and signed for this package using your name. We asked you to provide more information into the matter and file a police report if the package was stolen from you so we could investigate further and get the product back but you refused to assist.

    Since we have proof that you received the package and will not explain the inconsistency, we have no choice but to exclude you from the study. Given you have not yet spent any of your time participating in the study, you are also ineligible for payment. 

    If you are able to provide us with any additional information so that we can conduct an investigation to attempt to retrieve the equipment, we can consider you for this study again at a later time.

    We would like to get this resolved for you but given we have evidence from ***** that this package was in fact signed by you, our options are limited without additional action on your end. If you do not have the package (despite the evidence suggesting otherwise), we ask that you please file a police report so we can formally report the package as stolen and proceed with your resolution from there. Once filed, you may provide us with a copy of that report for our records. 

    On a separate note, we do not appreciate the vulgarity of your reply and kindly ask that moving forward, you exercise the same measure of respect that we've shown you in trying to resolve this matter for you. We hope that you choose to move forward with the police report so we can resolve this situation.

     I live in a 4 unit building which none of my neighbors nor myself have signed anything maybe fed ex took the package to another address because I haven't signed a thing besides the documents i signed with DocuSign all you guys are showing is fed ex stating it was delivered but I don't see my signature no where on your attachment so don't put that on me I also have emails from ***** that were very rude and unprofessional threatening me what will happen if I contacted bbb

    overbooking this study. I finally received an email today saying that they will not be paying me for this. This is a total scam as I was booked to get paid for a study, arrived on time only to be turned away. I did my part by arriving and getting their on time. They did not do their part by providing the compensation that was promised to me.

    I was specifically told by the researcher that my wrist size was not available at the time of the study, and no accounts were made about a mis-measuring of my wrist size. I spoke to three different staff members who were located at the study location to clarify what had happened and why, and again, nothing about mis-measuring was said. 

    Im not sure which party is giving me misinformation at this point. However, I dont believe this is right for a company to do. I will be happy to continue this case until I receive a full reimbursement for my time.

    ze measurement was inaccurate and that was why I couldnt take part in the study, which doesnt align with what the researcher at the location had told me.As a result of the time, energy, and money that I could have made at work not commuting to and waiting for this study (in total, 180 minutes, not considering the time taken to get in touch with ********), I believe I am entitled to full compensation for the study.There was also a $50 raffle that was offered for early birds, or people that arrived at 8:45, 15 minutes before the start of the study. I also missed out of this because I was not able to participate in the study due to lack of equipment.Because this exclusion was not my fault, and again, a result of lack of equipment and preparation for this focus group, I will happily continue with this case until I receive this compensation.Thank you!

    Hi *******,

    Thank you for submitting your complaint. We've taken the time to look into your correspondence with ********, some of which you have attached here. Upon signing up for this study, you were asked to measure your wrist size in millimeters (so as to be as precise as possible) with directions to do so. You were sent in writing several times the fact that if your wrist measurement was not correct that you would be turned away - you've included some of this verbiage in your attached as well and I would be happy to submit additionally as well if requested.

     

    However, when you showed up for the study, your wrist was measured by our client's staff and it did not fall into the range you had said it did in a) the survey you filled up signing up for the study and b) when you confirmed your participation and accepted the terms that if it did not meet the size you provided that payment could not be issued.

    Our client is very stringent about wrist measurements because they do not stock sizes outside of the accepted ranges which is why we made every attempt to ensure that you had measured your wrist accurately versus guessing you would fall into the range provided. We made this attempt by making the fact that payment cannot be issued very clear in all of our correspondence with you. While we are apologetic that you were likely excited to participate in the research study and took the time out of your day to do so, our job only works when directions are followed.

    Just to add context here, when the facility says that they ran out of a certain size, it means that you did not meet the threshold required to participate in this study. After speaking with the client (who runs the on-site operations including staffing, facility, etc.), they informed us that you measured 14.9cm. Given the fractional difference between this and the 15cm threshold, we have accepted your request for reimbursement as it's clear to us that you did to everything in your power to measure accurately ahead of time. You can expect an email from a member of our staff letting you know that payment was sent before end of day today 9/10/2024.
