      I purchased two pairs of jeans and three tee shirts from ************************** on June 12, 2025 for $386.11. I used a **** Gift Card to make the purchase. Once the items arrived I did not like the jeans and two shirts. I went to ************************** to start a return, but the only options provide were 1) exchange for different size or 2) send the items **** for store credit. No refund option was provided. I emailed customer service on June 23, 2025 stating "I would like to return 4 items from this order but your website only gives me the option of buying other items or getting a gift card. I want my money refunded to my credit card. It's really sketchy that your website does not give this option....Please process my refund (to my credit card) and let me know what information you need from me." A customer service agent "*****" responded asking me to explain why I wanted to return the items and then trying to sell me on other exchange items instead. I again stated I wanted a refund. On June 25th ***** responded "I understand you'd like to proceed with the return for your order. Your return request has been successfully submitted. Return instructions have been sent to your email, along with the ** code for completing the return." I proceeded to drop off the return items on June 25th and emailed ***** **** asking "Please confirm the amount that will be refunded to my credit card and when the refund will be processed after the items are dropped off." In response ***** stated "Our return policy states that refunds are issued via store credit in the form of a Mott & Bow Gift Card..." The fact that Mott & Bow proceeded to have me return items knowing they would not issue me a refund (when I repeatedly asked for that) is fraudulent and misleading. I feel coerced since the items have already been returned. I want my money ****. During the initial purchase their was no notice to me that refunds would not be issued. Had I known they would steal my money I wouldnt have purchased anything

      I saw a top **** choice for men on wirecutter from Mott & Bow. I assumed they were a legitimate company of wirecutter vetted them. I used mott & Bow's size tool for straight leg jeans and ordered a 35" x 30" **** for my husband's father's day and our 29 th anniversary. They are nothing like described. My husband isn't a large man work thin thighs but the thighs were so tight he could barely get the jeans on. There was no room in the crotch preventing him from squatting. The waist was way too large with several inches of gap. The material was not as described. I couldn't figure out how to return and finally found buried on their site the return policy which is no refund, you have to pay to return the item, but 5 new items and then they send your a gift card. All their other items are very overpriced and they're is nothing my husband needs but jeans and they do not fit and their sizing tool is wrong. I sent an email to the company asking for a cash refund but never got a response. I ordered the jeans on 5/31/25 MB#*******. They were received June 5. I don't think I should be required to buy over priced other clothing o don't need when I need to buy jeans for my husband. Plus, if they aren't refunding shipping costs and I have to pay to return the jeans, the costs add up and if the new clothes don't work, I'll have to eat that shopping and pay to return. They have misleading info on their website about free returns. They won't respond to me and I think this company is a scam. I just want my money back for jeans that do not fit after using their sizing tool and don't match description.

      Better Business Bureau:

      The business never responded.  I went ahead and ordered something.  Just like I thought,  they only gave me $81.01 to shop with. You can't use a coupon code nor is the one i initially used applied. I am not happy with this "resolution", but it isn't worth my time or mental wellbeing to continue fighting.  Complaint ID ********. 

      I would love to receive the additional $12.61 shorted from my refund.

      I also want it noted:

      1. Return policy buried on site and sizing tool incorrect

      2. Cannot find customer service number anywhere, must ******. Then not manned during business hours and no return call. 

      3. Only option to get a full value return is to exchange the exact same item in a different size (only 1x). Since these jeans were too large and too small, this wasn't an option. 

      4. Option to buy something else on site:

      A. Cannot use coupon codes and the coupon code from the returning order isn't applied, must pay full price. 

      B. will not refund shipping costs, $7 for me,  and thru take a restock fee of $5 to $11 depending on where you return the item  $5 fee for me. 

      C. despite originial shipping of $7 and Restock  of $5, order shorter by more than $12, maybe taxes... not explained. 

      D. once you get into this option, it will show you the $refund that you have to commit to before you see how much your new order will cost. Then, when you can see your costs, you can't edit your cart and you can't start over. 

      E. they charge your credit card for the new order instead of reducing it by the refund. Now I am out almost $200 and am waiting on a return of $81.01.

      5. You can get store credit, works like #2, same amount of $81.01 would be out in the store credit. This may be better than the purchase option a did because you don't have to pay twice and wait for a refund. While I don't know for sure, but you may be able to use a promo code with store credit which would have saved me (but they may not allow that either. )

      I ordered a product on June 2, 2025. After receiving the clothing (jeans), I was not happy with the fit and tried to process the return online. The website only offered an exchange or store credit. I emailed their help account ********************** After three exchanges, the customer service associate ******* finally sent this message: Hi ******,I understand you'd like to proceed with the straight return for your order.Your return request has been successfully submitted. Return instructions will be sent to your email, along with the ** code for completing the return. Take a look: I processed the return as instructed. Then I received an email notification that I had been issued a gift card and not a refund. I sent another email asking for a refund to my credit card immediately and received this response:Hi ******, I apologize for any inconvenience. Would you be willing to give us more details on what you didn't like about the Slim Straight Ridge jeans, so we can guide you towards an alternative? Were they too baggy or too tight? Was the waist too big or too small? We are committed to helping you find a product you love. Refunds for returns are issued via store credit in the form of a Mott & Bow Gift Card. Once your return is processed, a Mott & Bow Gift Card will be emailed to you for the corresponding amount. Please note your Gift Card wont expire and can be used to purchase a different pair of jeans or any of our other products, now or in the future.I responded AGAIN stating I wanted a refund. No one will answer the phone line for assistance even during stated business hours.

      I feel like its one of those companies, who has fake reviews because even that I purchased item from them I cant leave the review.Those jeans are mediocre ******* quality jeans, quality is low and nothing about them is screaming quality. The worst is that even if jeans doesnt fit you cant get refund, just their gift card. But I dont want to buy anything from you anymore, I just want my refund, that every self respecting company has. Not your gift card that I wont use. Bottom line, stay away from them especially because of their lousy return/ refund policy.

      I ordered 4 T-shirts from this company which did not fit well and the quality was not as expected. Also, delivery was very slow. I went on to their website to start the return and was very disappointed to find out that they only offer a gift card for returns and not a refund to the original form of payment. This was not at all clearly communicated at time of purchase and I would very much like my money refunded. I only received the t shirts yesterday and have held off accepting their return option until they agree to a refund. There is also no phone number for me to call the company, only email. I have sent email requesting a refund. If Mott and Bow stand by the quality of their clothing , they should not have a problem refunding customers to the original form of payment especially an online purchase that cannot be tried on before purchasing.

      I purchased two pairs of pants and a tshirt for a total of $226.64 on March *******. I did not receive my order until April *******. I tried on the pants and did not like the fit and returned the items on April 16, 2025. I did not receive a refund, impending credit based upon their review of my return. They received my return two weeks ago and after a couple of emails inquiring about the status, they responded indicating that their review is still pending. Todays date is May 8, 2025. 6-weeks after my initial order.

      April 27, 2025 Purchased a pair of jeans, and two tops. My normal size jeans were 6" too small and the tops were too small (they were normal size as well). The return policy is misleading stating 30 day return policy for a refund BUT in form of a gift card. Plus they charge a $5 for the return. I tried to exchange for a different product since it gave me the option to exchange items but it just charges you for the new merchandise AND you still get the gift card for the original purchase. So essentially they mislead you into buying more items! This company is a scam and I will NEVER buy from this company again. They do not even have a store where you can try on or return. How can a company be operated in this manner? I work hard for my money and feel like I have been ripped off.

      See receipt. Product does not fit - expect refund. ****** says policy is store credit. My policy supercedes their policy and I want my money back for unworn, non-conforming clothing purchased in good faith.
