Trying to contact SBLI USA for 2 days now. Prosperity, and SBLI USA phone numbers aren't working. Keep getting a busy signal. And the ************ is no longer in service. I am trying to pre-plan my funeral and had to ask a question. If there is no phone number to contact the company with, what is going to happen when I die??? Is my family is going to be held responsible for the funeral expenses even though I have insurance! This is awful!!! I would hate to cancel since I have been a customer since the 1980's and my premiums are low. But this is inexcusable. And my 80 + year old mother has the same life insurance company. Now I am extremely worried!

I have been signed up for a policy. I saw on my bank statement they charged me $61.41 without my knowing of anything or approval for acceptance of anything. I did not know how this has happened and I am unable to get them on the telephone.

My late mother had a life insurance policy through ********************* part of SBLI USA Life insurance company. My mother had passed away at the beginning of February of this year. Ive been dealing with these people since mid February. Every time Ive talked to them, they keep requesting different information instead of being up front at the beginning of what they needed. After jumping through hoops with the hospital to get a complete medical records of my mom they are still saying they dont have enough information. That they needed records between certain dates which again the records I gave them go clear back to 1983-2023 when she died. Basically they are looking for any reason to deny the claim and keep saying I should just take the premium payout instead although my mom had no medical knowledge at the time of signing up for this policy of any medical issues. There was no medical issues when she had a check up in September of 2022. They just keep dragging their feet on trying to resolve this claim hoping I get fed up enough to just take the premium payout and be done. If you are looking for life insurance to protect your family DO NOT use this company. They will not payout what is owed all they will do is keep making excuses and creating more hoops for the grieving family to jump through.

Horrible organization. Waiting over 6bweeks for paperwork and no one seems to know anything. No one picks up the phone and they have now made everything automated.

Horrible organization. Cant get them to sent check to my 91 years old mom. They claim that it was issued but no check, TWICE. Asked them to do direct deposit, they don't do that. Stay away from this dishonest company

I thought I would be allowed to look over a life insurance policy I was not allowed to do so and the money for the premium was taken out almost immediately before I even got to look at the policy. Not a good business practice. I will no longer have anything to do with a company that uses this practice.

******** (Prosperity cancelled my policy without warning. When first opened 20 years ago, policy was supposed to have a vanishing premium. Premium never vanished. Terrible company.

What I think is this ; your better off talking out a policy with a company that insures *********** than to go near this company.I have been paying close to 8 yrs on a policy they cant find every time I try to pay on line it says policy # does not exist.What a dame shame a company can still go on to do business this way.

Cancelled policy due to a mistake on the insurance policy. Insurance agent wouldnt return my calls. Had to cancel policy now they wont return my money. Would not recommend this life insurance company

Don't call back. Takes months to process claim benefits. Lose paper work . My mom passed away in December 21. Funeral home filed paper work December 22. It is now April 7 2022 . And still fighting to get claim done so funeral home can be paid. This company is the worst ever. If getting life insurance go with some one better.
