      I have been trying to claim my retirement from this company handling this issue. I've been approved 2 months ago but still no payment received. They send me 3 letters telling me for more information needed. I call them and they tell me about there mistakes. They tell me they will call ? They never call. Same lies and stories every time. They never get my mail and I send it to them in on of the envelopes they provided. The agents tell me still reviewing this matter. The paperwork they send me the dates are wrong compared to the paperwork I sent in. I get no satisfaction with this company. I am still waiting from this company. Every time you call they tell you they have 10 days to review your account and respond. All you get from this company is lies and employees that don't understand your agreement. I do Not recommend this company to anyone. This has been a nightmare dealing with something that should be stress free..you retirement you worked all your life for.

      My sister passed om May 30th 2025. I filed a claim on her Met Life insurance policy in June. Every time that I call the answer is the paperwork is in review. I have waited 4 months and the paperwork is still in review. I have never been contacted by Met Life . Only my weekly phone calls and the result is nothing! I had to pay for a funeral, headstone, mortgage payments and utilities. there is zero compassion from this company.***** *********

      The worst pet insurance ever. Cancelled the policy before it was to renew by 10 days, They renewed it despite my telephone conversation with their ************ again after charged. *** said I will back date it and cancel it, Got up this AM to determine they put through another set of charges. Double charges after I had cancelled now 20 days ago. Calling the bank in the AM but be aware this company is the worst-find another pet insurance.

      On 9/21/25 my wife had an acute stroke on the brain stem, it caused her to have a heart attack, which the hospital could not address due to stoke. She had multiple complications due to this incident. I have ************* insurance through my work place. MetLife denied the claim, imagine that. She is currently on a *** tube and needs constant care , I have been out of work for a month due to this. CC insurance is supposed to help pay my bills while I am out with her. I am trying all options for In home care or a facility. Cannot get any answers from anyone, cannot even reach a claim advocate to get answers.

      I would not wish this policy on my worst enemy... absolutely impossible. My dog was run over and had to have surgery, and they called this a "pre-existing condition." Seriously??? ANYONE would be better to work with for pet insurance than MetLife. I read the reviews and still tried to give them a shot... PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME!! There are soooo many more companies that will treat you better

      The website crashes, the call center wont help you, and the app is trash. I keep getting hung up on before being connected to a representative, and then when I finally get connected the employee is rude and has no solutions except try again in 24 hours. After I have had no access to my benefits for over a month. Cant provide any alternative contact information in case I have issues reaching them again. Unhelpful, useless, doesnt know whats going on.

      If i could give negative stars i would. After the passing of both my mother and grandmother, submitting death certificates, filing countless forms, spending hours on the phone with their terrible customer service I've been waiting over 2 months for them to even accept my paperwork to terminate my policy and send me a check. Every time I call I get a different reason why the paperwork hasn't gone through. Even looking at the emails I've sent and they've confirmed everything is filled out I still can't get my check. Please dont do any business with this company. The customer service will have you so stressed out and you'll never get anywhere with them

      Stay away if possible. We have been trying to accomplish a rollover to combine some retirement accounts for the past three months and get nothing but the runaround from this company. They keep asking for one for or another. We fill them out and send them in and are always told we are good to go. But the money never transfers. Every few weeks we call to follow up and they ask for a different form. It has been months now and they will not give us our money.

      MetLife gets one star for covering the euthanasia of one of my dogs. However they did not cover according to contract for my second dogs dental work (cost me over $1000). First claim for dental work was submitted and denied for ear infection which was not what the claim was for. Claim was resubmitted for dental work but I heard nothing back from MetLife. So I called and was told they were missing documents (everything was sent twice) but the agent I spoke with said she would call the veterinarian herself and get what was needed; ok, but again heard nothing for several months. Meanwhile Im charged every month for no service. I called again today and was told they had no record of resubmission or the phone call I just mentioned. I cancelled them. Tempted to take to court, not sure yet.
