      I recently had to file a claim for hail damage on our roof. Not expecting a good experience at all, as we have all heard about the horror stories. Got to say I was so surprised on how my claim went with Lemonade. ******* my *** was so very kind. No hassle at all, she was more like talking to a caring friend. She sent out a field adjuster *****, who was also very friendly and helpful in showing us things to be looking for next time. Within a week from seeing the adjuster ******* called with the good news and a amount that I sure can't complain about! Not only that, but she sent that amount out to my bank on the very same day. I mean really, I can only say "WOW" my claim was a great experience, very much to my surprise!!

      Just purchased this insurance for our 1yr old dachshund. ER visit just came up that cost us over $2500 and I was under the impression that ER visits were covered. But then they use the textbook pre existing conditions excuse and weaseled their way out of accountability. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. I paid for services for 60 days. I never received what I paid for. They should be ashamed of themselves but its what they do well, ******* customers out of money. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. This was my first claim and it was not a pre existing condition as they say. I cancelled the policy right away. Dont make the same mistake I made. They have a pretty website and app interface that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. Its a scam.

      filed a claim for water damage cause by neighbor plumbing no response but they taken my money every month I plan to cancel do not recommend this company.

      I have been with lemonade for over 5 years for my homeowners insurance and they have always been very professional and friendly and well as prompt in meeting any needs that I may have! 10/10 recommend!!!

      Disgusting company. They will extort you and force you to pay a premium, and then when you file a claim for your pet (that you already paid and subscribe to them for, for coverage) they will never pay what is due, and always find a way to weasel out of it. This pet insurance is an absolute scam. It's unethical, horrible, and they exist to make a fortune of you, nothing more. Do not sign up and spread the word. Human insurance is dark enough, but this fake company, that exists to make money off of your sick animals are a new level of depravity and low that you can't make up.

      Lemonade used to be a good insurance company for pets. Not until this ******* dog had a cough and reversed sneezing which I had to bring him to the vet on July 3, 2025. He was diagnosed with tracheal collapse. They did x-ray, check up and prescribed medication. I contacted lemonade and sent them the records from the vet. Up until now, the claim is pending. I sent them an email 2 week ago and it said it's on the final step of reviewing. I sent again a follow up email and it said it's on the final step of reviewing. Then my dog has a follow up check up which requires PCR, Xray and blood chem. I sent them again the records from the vet. Until now no update on the 1st and 2nd claim.When getting a pet insurance make sure not to fall in Lemonade. They are a big time scammers.

      First off, be aware that they will contact your vet and grab your pets records before even considering insuring your pet. My dog is a puppy. We waited the period for being covered. We noticed that our dog is having problems with her back legs and took her to the vet 6 weeks after the insurance was in place. The dog has not been diagnosed with anything yet and is being referred to a specialist to make sure she is okay because overall she is healthy. Lemonade not only rejected the claim but has let us know that she will also not be covered for any other visits regarding her legs. This is NOT okay. I would not use this insurance, you are better off putting your money in a savings for your pet and using that money instead.

      I have pet insurance through Lemonade. This insurance company took their time covering an initial vet appointment; however they did eventually approve and cover it. BUT once it came to covering the surgery to repair the issue they made up every excuse to not approve the claim. Including, calling it a pre-existing condition. How is it pre-existing when you approved the first claim????

      Disappointing. For a company that thrives off of advertising for the best and most friendly pet insurance it is strange to me that they disclude certain breeds. And the prices are way overpriced.
