Hi, I had a medical appointment on June 29, 2023 at Mt Sinai--10 Union Square location in ** *** and paid a copay of $30 by MasterCard ending in x**** the day of service. Somehow the creditcard information was not properly captured by Mt Sinai, and they have been sending me bills non-stop for the last seven months. I've sent them proof of payment multiple times--by regular mail at least 10 times, by email 1 time (in September 2023) and spoke to at least 4 different representatives, the last one in December 2023. Every time I speak to someone they assure me the matter is taken care of, but a few weeks later, I get another copy of the bill, which is always marked First Notice, even though the date of service was a while ago. Clearly the billing department is skipping some important step and on my own I can't get through to a person high enough to get this resolved once and for all. I hope you'll be able to get them correct their records and confirm that my patient account has been credited. I'm attaching a copy of the most recent bill and a copy of my credit card statement. Thank you very much.

My personal care physician scheduled an appointment for me with ******************************************, as I've been having many sleep issues for the past several months. The earliest appointment available was 8 weeks out. So I took the appointment and figured I'll just deal with my sleep issues until then. Today, April 11th 2023, was the appointment date. I had previously filled out all the questionnaire and paperwork online prior to the appointment. When I got to the appointment today, I checked in and sat for about 10 minutes in the waiting room. Someone from the desk called my name and I went up to speak with them. I was told they did not take my insurance, and if I still want the appointment it would cost me $650.This office has had all of my information for 8 weeks (everything is on **********************) yet, no one bothered to even look at it prior to my arrival. This cost me a whole day off, and I won't be getting any treatment for my sleep disorder, and no immediate solution in sight. Unfortunately, the business of the health industry is at its all time worst. No one cares. No one wants to help. If you're not in healthcare to care about the health of people, get out of the business.
