I order some food for delivery And the person who was suppose to deliver my food need did they cancel the order and took my money the was suppose to refund my card back but did not I called again today ask for my refund they said they was not returning it and would not let me speak to a mangerInitial Complaint

I placed an order with the company Deliver.com at 12:49pm. Order number ******** The driver who I had an issue with last time delivering very late was the same driver. My food was delivered at 2:05pm. I missed my lunch break, and my food was delivered cold and damaged. I contacted the customer service and spoke to a person who asked me to call back when I received my food. I did so as instructed and got a different representative. That person refused to transfer me to the other person I was speaking to then dismissed my complaint told me I would receive a call in 24 hrs and then hung up the phone. 72 hrs later I have not received any response from Delivery.com on my credit/refund. It should also be noted that this driver was rude and did not care he was so late, damaged my delivery and tried blaming it on the restaurant that the food was not ready. I work in a hospital and we are time constricted on our lunch breaks and for the second time using delivery.com with this driver I did not get my food in time.Customer response

I ordered food online and delivery.com was one of the websites set up to deliver the food. An hour went by after I ordered and someone called from the company to ask if the order came I said no. After another hour I called the restaurant and they said they never recieved an order. I called delivery.com again and the number blocked me. My money was taken but I never recieved the order.Initial Complaint

Order #: ******** i placed an order on delivery.com at 7:05am on 10/12/23 i used paypal to pay for it and also a $10 credit i had. therefore I am now due $17.25 refund to paypal and a $10 credit back to my delivery.com account... after 40 min. i called the vendor who seemed quite confused and told me he was very busy give it 10 min. he believed it was on the way... i waited and nothing i called back and someone else answered and said there was no order and to contact delivery.com I called delivery.com and explained and asked for a refund. I also followed ** in a message to them on their site. i heard nothing back and contacted them again at 11:40am and the person i spoke to contacted the vendor and they said the food was delivered!! to who???? not me!!!! they told me they cannot credit me back because that is what the vendor told them....!!!! this is stealing.... i suspect the vendor and delivery.com are stealing??? i demand my refund and the $10 credit back... they need to call me **********Initial Complaint

I ordered food delivery from a local restaurant (*******) through delivery.com on 8/22/23 for a total of $86.86. Shortly after the order was placed, I received an email from delivery.com that my order #******** was canceled because the restaurant was closed for vacation until 05/09/2023. This was strange because the restaurant was nearby and we had seen it open. It was also strange that the email used a non-US date format and also had other typos in the email. I called their customer service and was told by a representative that they could not provide a refund but could give me delivery.com points equal to the full amount of my order. I was credited with ***** points, which is equivalent to $5 on their website. I contacted another representative through their online chat, who contradicted the first rep and said they COULD refund the full amount of my order. I asked for a confirmation email that the refund had been processed, and I have not received the confirmation email or the refund.Customer response

After using the Delivery.com service many times, and providing them with my personal and financial information to complete orders, my account was arbitrarily flagged as "fraud" with no further explanation. My account was closed and I have been given no reason as to why. They retain my information, yet have terminated my ability to use the service without cause.Initial Complaint

I ordered from delivery.com on 5/15/23. My order didnt look right. It appeared that there was a ************** fries missing. I called *************************** argued with me. I was very unsatisfied & asked to return the order. They refused to take it back or refund me. They were very rude & misgendered me when I asked them not to use gender specific pronouns. They seemed to be intolerant of my gender identity. After about 30 minutes on the call. They then explained that my order was packed correctly & nothing was missing. They took no accountability that their website did not explain the manner in which the ************** fries would be packed. I said that I had a problem with that & wanted to discuss further. However they abruptly hung up on me. When I called back I was told my case would be escalated & someone would contact me within ***************************************** since. They didnt hold up their end of the bargain. Why did delivery.com be transparent with me about the placement of ************** fries & why did they misgender when I asked them not to?Customer response

I ordered food that was never delivered from Delivery.com. After speaking with someone in customer service and insisting for 20 minutes that my food was in fact NOT delivered, a refund was issued but then Delivery.com proceeded to charge my account again (on a different day then when I made the original order!!) making the refund void. Im worried about this company any having access to my bank information and charging me whenever they please,especially since I never received my food.Customer response

Scam company.I placed an order, it was confirmed, and 50 minutes later I called the restaurant because I heard nothing. They said they were not even taking orders from delivery.com and that delivery.com was not answering their calls.Then I tried to contact delivery.com for a refund and they would not answer or respond to my messages.I'm going to have to dispute the charge with my bank. On 3/14/2023, I ordered food from Delivery.com. The items I received were not the items I ordered so I contacted the company regarding the inconsistency. After over 30 minutes speaking with ******, a customer service agent, and a manager, both informed me that the restaurant staff ensured that the order was correct. However, I have images and witnesses to what I received. I informed the manager at Delivery.com that I have been ordering the exact same menu options (paneer makhani and garlic naan) using their service for over 3 years. In that time, I have made this exact order over 25 times - telling her to look through my order history. She told me there was nothing she could do as the chef ensured her there were **** pieces of paneer in the *****. This just simply was not the case. The ***** contained 0 paneer and was not even the color of paneer makhani. The manager told me that refund or credit or even redelivery was not going to be possible but that she would provide me with a $10 off coupon for my next order. Then, she ended the call. At this point, it is not possible for me to receive a refund as the restaurant noted that Delivery.com deals with all payments and they have to issue a refund. No one that I spoke with at Delivery.com would provide any type of refund or credit.
