***** *********: American Express *** is still reporting illegal "Late Payments" on my credit file. I Already tried to dispute this matter fourth times from August 16 2024 till March 28th 2025, but not reasonable respond or action has been taken from American Express *** to resolve this mater. On March 28, 2025 I previously submitted my last formal dispute, which constitutes the fifth official communication regarding the payments reported as late on account [********************************************* ** / Account Ending: ******* and Account Identifier ending 9103], which currently appears on my credit report with [Experian / Equifax / **********]. Despite more than 30 days having passed, I have not received any response, legal evidence, or confirmation from American Express *** which constitutes a direct violation of their responsibilities as a data provider to credit reporting agencies. American Express ** Silences Violates Multiple Federal Laws Their failure to respond is not only ethically unacceptable, but also a clear and verifiable violation of the following legal provisions: 1) 15 USC 1666b Prohibits treating a payment as late if a billing statement, in accordance with 15 USC 1637(b), Notice was not delivered at least 21 days before the due date. 2) 15 USC 1681s2(7) Requires written notice to the consumer when negative information is reported. American Express ** have not demonstrated that this was done. 3) 15 USC 1681s2(b) Upon receiving a dispute (directly or via bureau), American Express is legally required to investigate and correct any inaccuracies. They have not complied. 4) 15 USC 1681n and 1681o American Express ** refusal to respond may be interpreted as willful noncompliance or gross negligence, which entitles me to seek actual, statutory, and punitive damages. 5) I will proceed to File a lawsuit in Small Claims **urt in my jurisdiction for: Illegal information reporting Financial and emotional damages Loss of credit opportunities

worst customer service ever for handling disputes and standing behind there card holder. They just check the boxes and do not take into account extenuating circumstances. card holders can NEVER talk to a person in disputes. I would select negative if possible tickets were sent after the date of the event but vendor sent the tickets so they fulfilled their obligation. ************** outage and could not get to the event on time. did not care that there was no power and totals darkness. ****** provided the service. so no refund and no box to check total power outage. amex charges a lot of money for awful service.

We applied for the Blue Card and they asked us for bank statements. We were stupid enough to send those to them and they didn't even look at them. Now we are worried about our checking account being hacked. Do not get a card from this company!

I Have a business. One guest used American express card got dispute after enjoying vacation with her family. She had sign the receipt and we have text conversation on the phone. When we got dispute we have summited everything. But we got letter that it got decline. Now American express doesn't want to talk because we don't have a account with them. Card merchant cannot do anything. For me American Express you cannot take decision in behalf of business after all the proof. So are telling your customer go have vacation and dispute because you are going to help in robbing other people hard earn money. Every business should throw you out then how you are going to run bank. All American express customer you all can dispute. Nobody has to work, eat and leave for free by illiterate American Express bank. I wish I was lawyer to fight this small cases by myself.

It was easy to qualify and my credit score boosted for a minute. I realized quickly that the card was going to be a problem. Making payments isn't easy when they wait a week to take their payment. With all the quantum technology today, there's no excuse. When I saw a charge i wanted to dispute, I learned that American Express doesn't handle disputes. The most you'll get is a representative from the other side of the world, who can barely comprehend the situation, and will take you in circles for as long as it takes for you to realize you will get nowhere, FILIBUSTER.They do the same thing for any inquiry. They won't even honor my request to cancel the card. My credit score has declined by 100 points since acquiring this card.

American Express just closed my account ( Platinum Card, Business Checking and Business Line of Credit ) while I am out of the country accusing me of being involved in Marijuana activities, which I am NOT. I asked politely to speak with someone and was told it was NO possible and that there decision was final. It is apparent that the world we live ( specifically the ************* ) in is all about prosecuting anyone without due process. I loved using my card and its benefits and had referred the card to others that shared the same feelings about Amex. They refused to allow my use of earned rewards points ( even though i have an email from them that i had 90days and wouldn't you know they wouldn't even refund the annual dues ( prorated ). Just wanted to express my feelings and disappointment in American Express and there processes, Especially after being with them since early 2000's.

Dear American Express Customer Relations,I have been a loyal ********************************************* cardholder since 1984. Recently, while I was overseas in ******, I asked my cousin to assist with making the minimum payments on my account until I returned. However, the minimum payment due unexpectedly increased to approximately $980. My cousin contacted American Express to seek clarification, but he was met with unhelpful responses and was not able to speak with a supervisor, despite multiple requests. Frustrated by the lack of support and clarity, I instructed him to make the payment on July 15, 2025, which he did.Shortly thereafter, I received a letter stating that all of my American Express accounts were being canceled due to alleged use of profanity. I then contacted American Express to understand the specific reason for this decision, as I find it deeply concerning that such a long-standing relationship was terminated under these circumstances.I am respectfully requesting a full review of the account closure decision and clarification of what occurred during the phone call that triggered this action. I believe this situation may have been misunderstood or mishandled, and I would appreciate the opportunity to resolve the matter.Thank you for your attention and for reviewing my request.

I paid one of my American Express cards. I looked at my account and it was paid due and charges for late payment. I ended up having their *** charge it while on line and it went through. American Express told me that I did pay the amount but to the wrong card number. I checked and sure enough it is showing as a credit.I called American Express and they tried to send it to my bank but the bank refused it so it has to be mailed. I was outraged that to process the refund it will take 5-7 days. Then told allow 7-10 additional days from ****. I challenged it but there was nothing they can do. They get their money, but refunding two payments back cant be processed quicker as big as they are. Pathetic, I wont be using my charge with them.
