    Not honoring their loyalty perk program for points towards purchases. You leave a review and submit photos and you get points for each pic. They removed my ability to earn those points and when I leave a review and photos I dont get the points for the photos anymore. Theyre lying to me saying you get points for only 1 photo and it's in their own TOS that there's no cap on how many times we can submit photos to get points to buy products. They will not honor their own loyalty program but they lure in customers with the promise of earning points but then if you earn too many They take the ability away and lie to you about it. Which shows that they know they're wrong about it. They get their reviews and product photos that helps their business but they s**** the customer doing it.

    These people have the worse business sense and bad customer service. Their products take a very long time to get delivered, no one answers the phone if you call and their responses to the emails are terrible. If you order any cosmetics from their website site you may not receive your order for a very long time about a month before they ship it to you. They are full of excuses: bad business!! Buyers beware.

    I ordered the tarte foundation on Monday, the 18th, and paid $15 for two day shipping. Wednesday morning I checked to see if I had a shipping notification or anything and I did not. So I reached out to customer service through their live chat and I was told that there is actually a 2-3 day processing time then it ships in 2 business days. Today I got the notification that I wont get my foundation until Monday, the 25th. Why did I pay $15 ($14.95) for a standard 5-7 business day shipping time? I feel like I was scammed for paying $15 for a 4-5 day shipping time when I was told I was paying for a 2 day shipping time.

    Ordered three eyebrow products from this company, received all three expired products. Called and emailed their customer service, the customer couldn't provide any information about their own products such as production date, expiration date and shelf life. This is dangerous for all customers since cosmetic is a product which you put on your skin and this company doesn't have any information about their products. ***** to purchase the same from ****, received expired products also. DO NOT BUY ANY OF Tarte Cosmetics products anywhere, this is a big scam!

    Ordered two gift sets on 9/22. I had an email stating that it was on the way. I spoke with customer service and now it is delivery date 10/11. Their website says that it is **** business days for deliveries in ******* but that is incorrect information. When I asked if I could just cancel the $150 order..they said no all sales are final. I would have never bought from them had I known it was going to take 19 days to receive what I could have bought in a local Ulta! I love their products but I guess I will find a new brand.

    I've been in the beauty industry since ****. I've been licensed since 2009. I've had a PRO discount with Tarte since 2011. By December 2022 I stopped receiving my industry discount. When I reached out via their customer service I was informed it was due to my e-mail being unsubscribed, which "allegedly" was remedied. When I contacted them a month later without receiving my PRO discount again, I was told the issue would be moved up the ladder and provided a code on their end. When I went to purchase my products the code was only for 20% off. Once again reaching out to customer service I was told certain products coupons were not applicable towards. When customer service tried to tell me it was because "x product" was not discounted, I let them know that was untrue as it always had been in the future and if that were the case the coupon code wouldn't work on it. The problem is they refuse to provide me with the accurate code. Which for the last 12 years has been 40% off. Instead of issuing me the correct one for checkout, they wanted me to purchase my items with the incorrect code, wait 1-3 days for them to ship it, contact them again and wait for a price adjustment. Listen, I've been in this industry for too **** long, wearing too many hats, for too many companies, for too many brands, with too much insider knowledge to know this is one of the most EGREGIOUS forms of customer service I have ever encountered. I've been on the backend of these situations myself, and for Tarte employees to be this vague, this ill-informed, this poorly directed in protocol, to prompt me to write a disparaging review, you know it's bad. Get your act together, provide succinct straight-forward responses to the questions I ask, do not leave the customer having to service themselves, and be conscious of the fact that poor interactions leave a very lasting impression. I will not move forward with Tarte in any capacity until, if ever, they get their act together once more.
