    I was previously a customer of **********************, using their rental service for small appliances in my apartment. Without any prior notification, they renewed my subscription and charged my credit card. I had not agreed to or authorized this renewal, so I filed a dispute through my credit card company.TULU responded saying the charge was reasonable and refused to refund me, even though there was no transparency or opt-in process. At that point, I gave up on recovering the money, but decided to use the service one last time to at least make use of what I was forced to pay for.However, I then discovered that I couldnt use the app at all I was blocked from pausing or continuing my subscription because a dispute was still in progress, even though they had clearly stated they would not issue a refund. I reached out to customer service via live chat and spent over an hour trying to resolve the issue. They repeatedly told me there was nothing they could do.The app is poorly designed, the account management options are extremely limited, and the customer support was unhelpful and unable to escalate or resolve the situation. I have made multiple attempts to formally raise this complaint with TULU directly and have received no responses.I am submitting this complaint to the BBB because I believe TULU is operating with poor business practices, lacks transparency in billing, and does not provide the support or accountability that paying customers deserve. I am requesting that they either issue a refund or allow me to use the service I paid for, and that they improve their customer communication and app functionality.
