    Beware of Lightspeed Commerce ************ and Communication Im sharing this review to help others avoid the frustrations Ive experienced with Lightspeed Commerce. I strongly advise against using or signing up with them. Their customer service is poor, and communication is practically *************** cant reach anyone by phone unless its for billing issues; everything else has to be handled via email. Once you sign up, you lose your account manager and any direct contact with them, which is incredibly frustrating.On top of that, Ive been charged three times in one month instead of the usual monthly charge, and despite reaching out since October 17th (its now December), I still havent received help managing my ********** yourself a favor and stay far away from Lightspeed Commerce.

    HORRENDOUS!They were quick to make a sale. Then they sent incompatible hardware, ignored my requests for replacements, cancelled my orientation appointment, & offered no customer service. I filed a return. They did refund the payment for services they never provided. However, they claim the hardware was non refundable so they recycled it and refused me a refund.Would recommend using ANY other POS for your business.

    My hopes in posting this is to get the attention from anyone from Lightspeed to contact me. The past few months using Lightspeed payments has been a true nightmare for a small business. I am willing to settle it out before I post the real details about how they treat their clients. FOR NOW PLEASE I RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT USE LIGHTSPEED DUE TO LIGHTSPEED PAYMENTS. IF YOU ARE A SMALL BUSINESS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

    Two months ago, I put in a request to talk to a sales rep. A rep from Lightspeed that lived in ****** called me and sold me on a CBD payment processing system. (anyone at Lightspeeed will tell you they don't offer CBD payment processing) He said their system was all inclusive and that all of their website integration was under one roof, unlike "all the others." He said it was going to be $300 a month, and I said that would be out of my budget. He continued to say that the benefit I would get would outweigh the cost, using point systems, and tons of integrations you have to pay extra with on a wordpress website. He told me the payment processing "Team" would give me a call after I agreed that I would give it a try if it was a flat rate. Once the "team" (a third party payment processor out of **********) called me, the rep said that it would be an additional $75 per month on top of 4% credit card processing fees. I told them that would mean I would need to pay upwards of $500 plus a month for payment processing. I hung up, and called my bank an hour after the first call to stop payment realizing I had been dragged into a scam. The bank said it is already pending and I may have to call back if it ends up going through. It did end up going through, and I filed a chargeback, because they charged me for a service I never used. I have been going back and forth with the bank and the company trying to get my money back for an online account I never used. They just after 2 months of this being dragged on they won't offer a refund because I signed into the account to cancel it a month later (as a part of the bank dispute.) BUYER BEWARE, FIND ANOTHER PAYMENT PROCESSOR. Read the real reviews across the internet, find a more honest company like square that offers a free account. Giving a sales rep my email has cost me $300.

    Non-existent customer service. I bought a company that already had Lightspeed, so I stuck with them. On 12/22/23 the previous owner put in a ticket to have the ownership changed to me on 1/1/24, our closing date. They sent me paperwork to fill out. I did so immediately. We closed on January 1 and on January 2, nothing was in my name. I called, emailed, put in tickets and went to their online chat. On 1/8/24, someone finally reached out and said they sent me the wrong paperwork. I then filled out more paperwork. This didn't get approved until 1/16/24. ALL daily credit card payments went to the previous owner for 16 days. It is 2/22/24 and they STILL haven't fixed it. I reach out every single day and they say "working on it", for almost 60 days. The previous owner felt bad and finally wrote me a check for the money. BUT the sales were still going to her old account so I couldn't pay my state sales taxes because I had no information on what we sold or collected. To this day, 60 days after we bought the business, the old businesses name is still on everything. Ticket after ticket and nothing happens. Then after working on my ecommerce/website for over 100 hours, odd issues started happening on a daily basis. I reached out to tech support. They said there was a "syncing" issue and they had to delete EVERYTHING I had worked on. Everything. Now my choice is to start completely over or switch vendors. I am going with switching vendors.

    Lightspeed used to be GREAT. Now they are greedy -- extorting customers into signing up for their payment processing services. If a customer does not sign on for payment processing, Lightspeed is charging EXHORBITANT monthly fees. Shame on them. STAY AWAY.

    This company has the worst customer service, lied to me before signing up, and poor management. I waited weeks for them to send my system and then said we sent you an email to order it? Then offered service to move my ecommerce to their ecommerce and then tried to charge me after I already paid for my year of subscription. I was very clear of what I wanted before I signed up and theyonly told me what I wanted to get me to sign up. Do not sign with them! It's been a month of me going and back and forth and I still have not used this software.

    Horrible customer service. System is inconsistent, and you can mever get a straight answer..lots of"i dont know why that happened". Would not recommend.

    As an individual that is both an entrepreneur as well as new to business , I put my trust in this company to handle my launch . I expressed what I desired as far as capabilities of the ***************** screwed up implementation 3 times only for me to find that I had been a victim of up selling & half of the hardware was not compatible with each other . Then I was told of appropriate hardware that I could purchase to make this ***** podge of hardware they've sold to me work . I tried being patient & understanding & tried to let them make it right , but they didn't . They haven't responded in weeks *********************** was my liaison . Because I was treated less than a man putting his all on the line & going for the win in business , I wholeheartedly recommend finding another merchant services provider.Respectfully Submitted ,************************ p.s. 0 stars , the link made me leave a 1 star review .

    I would not recommend this company based on poor customer service, false advertising if what LightSpeed X is capable of and poor management. This product is not compatible with woocommerce and has many security fails, it opens your company up to potential fraud. Whoever developed the Point of Sale clearly never actually ran a customer facing business.
