Ordered a queen ****** comforter. Contacted to return via email (they offer no phone number). Was told to donate the comforter to a local organization. And then I would get a refund. I donated it to an organization they told me was on their approved list, and got a picture of the receipt, as they told me to do. I sent a picture of the receipt to them and email them daily for over a week to get confirmation of a refund. I can't get anyone to return my emails and I have no other recourse because there is no phone number available. Picture of the receipt from the organization we donated it to. Have been emailing for weeks to get a prepaid return slip. Buffy customer service will not send (sent one email after weeks of trying to get in touch without the attachment working). Trying to exchange a gift as it was the wrong color. Buffy will not help or respond.Initial Complaint

This company needs to be investigated by the *** . I also had the same issue as a lot of people complaining. The website states that you get a 7 day free trial, I definitely got charged right away. Also I thought I almost was not going to receive the items so I opened a dispute with my card. The dispute got resolved because I did received the items. Then I was not satisfied with the quality so I asked them how I can return the items. They said that I can donate them and as long as I get a receipt I will get a refund. That to me is shady as well, why cant I just return it? When it says clearly on the website that you can for free. Anyways I went ahead and reluctantly returned the items. Showed the receipt and then they said that they couldn't process the refund because of the chargeback and to call my bank. I called my bank they said there is no more charge back and they should be able to refund me fine. This is so shady my bank told me to reopen the dispute and I submitted all the emails I have of them saying they will refund me and me providing proof. Purchased a buffy cloud cal **** comforter on March 7, 2025. Color ordered was Heirloom silver(dark grey) but was sent bone grey(bright silver). Never opened it. Emailed them on March 23 and April 3 about returning it to which I never received a reply. Although, on April 3, after I sent the email, I received an email as**** how I like the comforter, stating that it should be dark grey in color. Find it insulting that they don't respond to an email about an error on their delivery but they mock me on top of it. Paid about $200 for the comforter. Would accept an exchange for the one I wanted. i'm reporting the company Buffy they sell comforters and bedsheets online. The website promises to give you a seven day trial once you receive the at your home they promise to not charge you until you finish your seven day trial but they never got back to me and to tell mewhen the seven day trial starts I've already gotten charged for it today and I received the items in the mail yesterday so not seven days.When I tried to email them I was told that they'll get back to me when they're able but it's been over a week so they don't give you a week from the time it arrives they give you a week from the they send it but they don't make that clear and they haven't responded to my efforts to obtain a refund so I had to go tomy bank and file the fraud charge I haven't heard back to them from them to this day and I'm not happy that they don't have a number and I want my money back from them because I already sent the items back in the mail and I already sent them an email saying I don't plan to keep the items.Customer Answer

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Buffy Inc. regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I was not given opportunity to explain my issue. I provided screenshots of my refund but they are saying they don't see it, but it's there. I also didn't receive a receipt for these refunds so I needed time to contact the store to receive them, but the store is claiming they don't have access to the receipts from that long ago, it's only been three weeks. I contacted customer service but they aren't any help. i don't have the receipt but the refund shows on the receipt for the items on the original receipt but CVS is REFUSING TO ACCEPT that response. I find this to be unresolved due to their lack of flexibility and would like them to take a second look.

I had ordered a comforter from them several years ago, and loved it, so I ordered the same one again on 3/13/2025. The company promised an 8 day free trial, with no payment until the trial ends. I received the comforter on 3/24/2025, and it was nothing even close to the advertised item, or the comforter I purchased from them previously. It was very thin, flimsy, and cheaply made. The instructions on website were to email them for returns, but no one responded to 3 emails. Then, I find out that I was charged the full purchase price of $203.51, on the day I ordered, 3/13/2025! I am writing to express my disappointment with the Cloud Comforter I purchased, which was delivered on November 29th. Initially, I was very pleased with the product. However, after an extended period of use, I recently washed it according to the provided instructions using Seventh Generation non-abrasive detergent. Unfortunately, the comforter emerged from the wash looking extremely worn and tattered, as if it had been used for ten years.I immediately contacted customer service via email on February 22nd but did not receive a response within the promised 1-2 business days. I followed up with another email on February 28th and finally received a response on March 4th from *******, who informed me that I am outside of the 50-day warranty period. However, no explanation was provided for why the comforter deteriorated so significantly after just one ******* a loyal customer who has purchased multiple sheet sets, pillows, and comforters from Buffy since 2020, I am deeply disappointed by this experience. This is the first time I have encountered such an issue with customer service. I kindly request either a refund or a replacement for the defective comforter.
