Do you not use this company? I repeat do you not use this company? Ive been a customer of theirs since they first started up and everything was great until I started having larger deposits into my account and their transfer policy changed. so instead of my funds being available within one to two business days after the deposit its about 3-5 business days before the monies transferred from my bank account. Dont let there be a large transaction where in my case it was $7000. you would think after its been transferred to your Qapital account. You can then transfer money wherever or even your spending account. Not the case they will place your account on hold or freeze your account unbeknownst to you And then, when you try to transfer funds youre not able to transfer funds then they tell you that theyre just auditing and theyre wanting to make sure that the fence clear and that theres no chance of it being taken back which they now say takes another 3 to 5 days, so why would it already takes 3 to 5 days for the money to hit my capital count? I know I have to wait another 3 to 5 days before the so-called hold they have is removed from my Account makes no sense at all. Also, because I did not know there was a hold on my account. I ended up being charging in a selfie for my credit card company because I made a payment when my account wasnt on hold and when they tried to withdraw the funds they werent able to because capital put my account on hold Now Im asking them to refund me the *** charge that my credit card company is going to charge me and Im sure theyre gonna tell me theyre unable to do that but things have not been right with them over the last few years. I do feel like some funds are not transferred to my account based on what my calculations are, but they tell me that its correct. ***** with a company where you cant speak to anyone should have been a red flag but because of these issues and that its costing me more money Im closing my acctReview from Matthew L

Others said it well. The company started charging a monthly subscription fee with no clear notification or approval of the user. I would also argue this is illegal under GDPR because of the insane ways they try to stop you from leaving the service and ending the monthly subscription.Review from Regan K

This company is a total scam. I, like other reviewers said, created this account in 2017 and used it for maybe less than a year. It was 100% free and I never consented or agreed to upgrade my account at all. My profile was totally inactive and they randomly decided to charge me 8$ a month for years. I just now noticed and had to go back and forth with someone over email for weeks to even get a resolution. I NEVER consented to any of these charges and will be disputing them.Review from Temprest B

Closing my account, every time I try to make changes or update my account they're requesting me to send over my drivers license and other personal documentation. None of these documents were requested when I first opened my account so I don't understand why they're requesting them now. You can't call and speak to anyone everything is done through email. I had money withdrawn from my funding account. It said it was scheduled to be available in my Qapital account on August 2. By the end of the week I was still unable to use the money. I messaged Qapital and they said it was a glitch and $348 was erased from my account. They said my funding account didnt have enough money to transfer, however that money shows withdrawn and it has seemingly disappeared.Review from crystin B

I signed up for a Qapital account about 6 years ago. At the time when I signed up it was free. I used the app for a short period then kind of forgot about it until last year I was cleaning up my budget and noticed that an $8 charge was coming out of my account every month for almost 2 years at that point. It had been so long since I used the app I couldnt remember my sign in info so I tried contacting customer service to recover my information in order to cancel. They dont have a phone number or any way to contact support directly. You have to submit a request for them to contact you via email. I figured out my account log in on my own eventually. I went to cancel my account in my settings. It turns out, you can only submit a request to cancel your account and you have to wait for someone to contact you. Im still waiting for someone to contact me to close my account. I think it was absolutely wrong of them to start charging people for the membership without their consent. I agreed to a FREE account when I signed up. There should have been a process of having customers sign a new use agreement if they were going to charge. My account had zero activity on it for over 3 years before they started charging me for it. Also, you should be able to unlink your bank account from the app but they do not have an option to remove your bank info once they have it. Charging inactive accounts is unethical. And making the process to close your account so tedious is frustrating. Then to add to it not having a way to contact customer support directly is just wrong when it comes to dealing with peoples money.Review from Donovan T

I have fraud on my Qapital debit card. I send my complaint in since May 2021. First of all there is no live person, that you file your complaint with regarding the fraud. They have this virtual assistance that is a waste of space. The topics to choose from are very basic and does not cover your topic. I tried cash out my money because I want to close this account. They keep ignoring my request to sell my shares. PLEASE DO NOT INVEST IN THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE JUST OUT TO GET YOUR MONEY AND FORGET ABOUT YOU. I DON'T WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU CLOSE MY ACCOUNT, REFUND ALL THE FRADULENT CHARGES AND THAT WILL BE THE END OF OUR BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP. WORSTQapital, Inc. Response

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ! If I could give this business negative stars I would. It is NEVER possible to reach out to a real person. I have been trying to cancel my account for MONTHS, they continue to debit my account despite the fact that I have turned off all transactions and am trying to cancel. They are like some underworld organization -- once you sign up with them you will NEVER be able to get out. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
