      I have an account with CIT. About 75% of the time, I cannot access my account; multiple times, the busted website just says I don't have an account. There are days at a time when I cannot even see my balance; this is absolutely unacceptable. To have this much money locked into a plece I cannot access at will is totally unprofessional.

      My bill was due 9/21/25. I paid it in full on 9/21/25 @11:01 pm CST and received email confirmation on the same date confirming payment. However, the payment didn't post until after midnight EST so I was charged $270.** in interest. I have called 3x to try and resolve this, by requesting the interest be removed as I met my "DUE" date as indicated on my bill. They refuse to credit it despite me paying in full by the posted due date. Note: I have email confirmation from **** on 9/21 confirming the payment....

      I tried to submit an application for a custodial savings account for my daughter. However, the *** application was immediately denied. I called the customer service line to ask why and uh, the service representative told me that it would need to undergo manual review because it seemed like my information did not match their robotic checking system. I was told that I would get a call. At a later date, but I never received one and my application was closed. I made another application for the same thing. A month later, and it was also immediately denied.And when I called the customer service line to inquire, they said it would need to undergo another manual review.I told them I had another experience where this had happened.And no one had called me back.And the representative reassured me that someone would call me back. I received a phone call the following day, only to be told by the manager that their robotic system was unable to clear me as high risk. And as a result, I am not eligible for the product. They said I could call their electronic robotic system and find out where the discrepancy was.But I would not be able to provide them with any documentations to prove my identity, such as marriage certificate or social security card, because that would just be for informational purposes. She offered no opportunity for me to have my application denial appealed. This business is a scam. I just want to get my banking and personal information with no intention to provide banking services.

      I received a message from the bank stating that they respond, in fifteen business days.However, I have to respond if I am satisfied with the resulting attempt within six days to the BBB. It appears that I will not get a resolution in the time frame that I have been allowed.

       The bank just sends me messages that they will respond, but they don't actually do anything about it. They have not resolved the issue at all. They do not seem interested in resolving this issue.

      I have a savings account with **********************. They have frozen my account requesting more information from me on my linked bank accounts such as statements of these other accounts to prove they are in my name. I did not want to provide that information and have requested to close my savings account. I spoke with someone who refused to close my account and issue me my funds. I had to request to speak to a supervisor named *********, I informed her I would like to close my account and have a check mailed to my home address or my money transferred to a bank account of mine. She informed me she'd had to email somebody and they would have to get back to her and she would call me back. I am still waiting on them to close my account and issue me my money. My account is frozen and they are as of now refusing to release my money to me.

      I opened an online savings account on May *******. The following day, I submit a $50,000 wire from my bank (Upgrade, *** using **************** as their funding source) to fund the account as there was a savings promotion at CIT bank. They subsequently lock my account and suspend my online log in for verification but as of today June 4, 2025. I have not heard from the fraud team to settle this issue with me. I've been calling since May 23, 2025 to try to rectify this issue.This is my hard earned money and they have locked me out of access of my own capital with no way or getting in reach of the appropriate team. Today, June 4, 2025. I call in to try to escalate the issue. No one is capable of doing anything and I've called multiple times waiting for a response but no one has reached out to me.

      I applied for a Citi card to do a balance transfer. Then I was denied **** to **** balance transfer. I thought I had read through the agreement and I could balance transfer Citi to Citi as long as I had not applied for the card in the last ********************************************************************************* the fine print that you could not do Citi to Citi balance transfers? I had to call and complain to try and get a resolution. It was very difficult and I felt they were rude. I finally got the application cancelled. However, the damage was already done. My credit score had taken a hit. They were deceitful in their application process by being misleading and I believe they think people would still accept the card after they had applied. They should be liable for such acts in a day and age of credit card debt being out of control in this country.

      I reached out to Cit Bank on Friday, February 14th, 2025. And I spoke with the customer service *** stating that I've been trying to link my "external bank account to Sofi" onto your website but its stating that its an invalid routing ************ not sure why its not able to link but I was able to link my Capital ********** accounts to the external. And so the *** kept me on hold like 20 ************* came back with a lie stating they were looking into this & came back on after keep me on hold another 5 minutes stating that my account will need to be on a "bank review". I asked what was the ************ couldn't give me a reason but someone would reach out to me in 72hrs. So after not hearing from anyone on Thursday February 20th, 2025. I decided to call & stating I needed an update since I was still locked out of my account without any access. So the *** stated I should have a call from someone the following day. So the next day on February 21st I got a phone call from ************ stated that they thought it was someone trying to access my ************** needed proof that it was me & for me to send over a bank statement from "Sofi". And he provided me the email address & send over my bank statement the same ******** claims they would reach out to me in one or two business days. I still haven't heard from anyone yet. But I don't like this ordeal with this ******** would like to withdraw all of money over (10K) out of this bank once I get access again.

      On October 19, 2024, I transferred $80,000.00 from my ***** checking account to a savings account at ********************, a division of *******************. I now want to close this account but I cannot log in. When I try to log in on my laptop computer I get an error message:This site cant be reached. The webpage athttps://******************************************************************** be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. ************************ I get a similar result when I try to log in on my cell phone. This is not temporary. This does not happen once in a while. This happens continually for weeks. They dont provide a phone number on their web site. Neither do they provide a chat feature.I need your help t close this account.H. ****** ***** ********************** **************

      I am filing a formal complaint against CIT Bank regarding a fund transfer issue that resulted in financial loss.On January 13, 2025, I initiated a transfer of $15,000 from my CIT Bank account to my ******************* account for the purpose of purchasing stocks. The funds appeared in my Fidelity account immediately, allowing me to execute a trade and purchase *** stock. However, for unknown reasonswhether due to an error, mismanagement, or potential fraudCIT Bank reversed the transaction without **************** a direct result of this reversal, my Fidelity account incurred a loss of $641.96, which I would not have experienced had the transfer been properly processed. Upon contacting Fidelity, they reviewed the matter and confirmed that the issue originated from CIT Bank, not Fidelity. I have attached a copy of Fidelitys official response and relevant screenshots for reference.I am requesting that CIT Bank immediately refund or adjust the $641.96 loss caused by their erroneous handling of my transaction. Their actions have not only resulted in financial damage but also caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.I appreciate the BBBs assistance in resolving this matter and ensuring that CIT Bank is held accountable for their mismanagement. Please let me know if additional documentation is required.
