    I bid on a 23" by 29" piece of artwork via Live Auctioneers. Two days after the auction closed I received an invoice which included line item costs for the item, buyer's premium, online payments fee, taxes and SHIPPING. The total cost of shipping listed was $34.99. The invoice had a "Pay Now" button. I clicked it and paid the total invoice and received a confirmation immediately that thanked me for my payment and said, "Your order will be shipped soon". Then roughly 4 hours later they sent me another invoice, but this time the total shipping cost was exactly $130.00. When I reached out to them, they said the first invoice stated it was an "estimated shipping" cost, but a search for the word "estimate" was not found anywhere in the email or the invoice. What they sent me was a screenshot of what they said were the numbers they sent me but it was clear the image they sent came from the auctioneers view from within the payments platform they used to faciliate the auction via Live Auctioneers. It says "Estimated" on their end, but you can clearly see this is an open text field from which they had overwritten the original cost of shipping sent to me in the original invoice. If you send a customer an invoice with total (not estimated costs) AND no where in any of the legalise contained in that same email does it mention anything about the shipping cost being an estimate, AND it says "Pay Now" AND then you get confirmation that your payment was processed AND your item would be shipped SOON they SHOULD not have their purchase held hostage because the seller decided to charge them more later. I should have the option to get my $ back but this company refuses to acknowledge their error and repeatedly ignored my email communications and in-platform messages asking for them to provide me an update. It was only after I reported them to Live Auctioneers did they finally respond after a week, but still did not accept responsibility and instead said Live Auctioneers was to blame.

I want to assure you that we have been reviewing this situation internally, and I have now received approval from our Chief Operating Officer to resolve this matter immediately.

    We agree that you, as the customer, should not have to bear the burden of this mistake. Therefore, we will honor the initially quoted shipping cost of $34.99. We will absorb the difference in the shipping charge and will proceed with shipping your artwork to you promptly.

    You do not need to take any further action regarding payment. We will ensure the artwork is packed securely and shipped to the address on file. You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information as soon as it becomes available.

    We sincerely apologize again for the inconvenience and the subsequent lack of communication. We value your business and hope that our commitment to rectifying this situation will help restore your confidence in Mynt Auctions.

    Was looking at an item, went to another webpage and when clicked back hit the button to bid - it was my mistake and immediately contacted them asking it be removed - received no responses until after they charged my credit card. Their choices of pay for something I did not want, or accept credit from a company that is systematically shill bidding items to con bidders out of thousands of dollars is not acceptable. Repeatedly told Live Auctioneers - since Mynt refused to answer emails - those terms are not acceptable. Their terms also said without an updated option within 24 hours shipping process would begin and sale is complete. They never shipped the item. So no refund, no item, just stolen money.

    In mid-October I bid on an item at liveauctioneers.com, there was a system problem and my bid was incorrectly high. Mynt and Love Auctioneers were contacted immediately. They charged my Navy ************ for $1003.73 on the bill we received 11/3.Mynt agreed to issue an in-house credit.11/16,Mynt agreed to send me a Ferragamo purse and Vuitton Wallet.#1 (Ferragamo purse) was received 12/2 and later found to be COUNTERFEIT Item #2 (Vuitton wallet) was promised to be sent on 11/17. When the Vuitton wallet didnt arrive as promised with the Ferrgamo purse, I called and emailed Mynt starting 12/3. On 12/7 ******* and ******** with **** said the Vuitton wallet was misplaced and that theyd immediately send a replacement. After more weeks, the Vuitton wallet still hadnt arrived so I began emailing and trying to call Mynt. Their phone number did not accept messages and other numbers are disconnected.After over 50 days with no response from Mynt/LiveAuctioneers, I filed a dispute with Navy ************.1/19 Mynt finally replied and said the Vuitton wallet had again been misplaced and later lost again. Mynt/LiveAuctioneers said they sent the item 1/22 with signature required despite my multiple communications advising we would not be home. The item was initially listed as delivered by *** on 1/24 but NO SIGNATURE was obtained (we were not home). I have images from our and our neighbors cameras showing there was no *** truck delivery 1/24.I submitted a claim with *** which was rejected because a claim had been submitted by **** and MYNT WAS PAID BY ***.Navy ************ reposted the charge and said I need to get the wallet from Mynt.Mynt has been reimbursed by *** and paid by **** in full. Mynt wont refund the counterfeit Ferragamo or replace or refund the Vuitton wallet. Mynt stopped responding in February.

    We had requested Live Auctioneers to intervene and sent them the following email regarding this customer:

    The customer is not only threatening legal action with the NJ/NY Attorney General but also repeatedly mentioning filing complaints with the *** and/or us being non-compliant(?). The customer has persistently fabricated information and made baseless claims. Currently, we neither possess any of the items nor have received the corresponding funds (see attached chargeback notification for full amount). It's crucial to note that the claim initiated by the bidder was on their end, not ours, and the claim has been issued to them (please refer to the attached screenshot). The bidder is unable to provide a name or any written documentation supporting the claim of an inauthentic item- suggesting we call a store with none of that crucial information/documentation is egregious. Given that we handle thousands of bags, we do not retain records of all items authenticated by our third party, Entrupy. Here is what our teams are saying regarding the item in question (**************************** **** Ribbon 22-C916):

    "Our experts confirmed again that the bag is authentic.
    They informed me that the chain originally did not have a logo. Brand boutiques sometimes refuse to handle items that weren't sold in that region/country or not purchased through the boutique, but this is no reflection on the authenticity."

     

    As of today, we don't have the item(s) or the funds for the items.

    Mynt continues to be deceptive and misleading.  The *** image Mynt sent clearly shows the same thing that I have said and what I sent proof of: I filed a claim which was denied because the SHIPPER (Mynt) filed a claim and was reimbursed/compensated. Again, the shipper NOT the intended recipient (me). The *** images also prove that the shipped item was lost in transit and could not be located by ***.
    I have attached proof from ********* that the amount I disputed was returned to Mynt/Live Auctioneers 2/3 2024. 

    I dont have the second item, and  Mynt has the *** claim $$ and Mynt/LiveAuctioneers has my **** payment.

    If LiveAuctioneers has not forwarded payment to Mynt, that needs to be corrected between them. 

    Regarding the counterfeit Ferragamo, Mynt has an authenticity guarantee that they dont honor. I gave them the name and phone number to call at the ********** AZ Ferragamo store but Mynt will not call them. I offered repeatedly to return the Ferragamo under the Mynt guarantee but they will not allow me to return it.
    I want to resolve this but Mynt refuses. They have changed their story a dizzying number of times. 

    I have no choice but to talk to a consumer fraud attorney when I am in *** in July. If there are others that Mynt is defrauding, this might qualify as a class action.

    We appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns raised in the recent complaint filed by *********************.

    Chargeback Status: As per the latest email from Live Auctioneers (enclosed), the chargeback related to Invoice: LA ******* is still pending. Consequently, we have not received the funds for this invoice.
    Claim Filing Details: Enclosed is an email from *** confirming that the claim for the missing package was filed by the receiver, *********************, not by us. This contradicts her assertion that we filed the claim.
    Shipping Receipt: Also enclosed is the shipping receipt for the package in question. Its important to note that the claim amount filed by ************** does not match the value of the item as stated in the receipt. Additionally, please note that we file our shipping claims through Shipshurance, not directly with the carrier.
    Authentication Dispute: We requested ************** to provide the name of the store associate who claimed the item was inauthentic, as well as written documentation to support this claim. ************** was unable to provide the associate's name or any written proof, only offering the location of the store.


    We hope this information clarifies the situation and assists in resolving this matter.

    Please do NOT close this. I have been sick for over a week and havent been able to formulate my response. 

     

    I paid Mynt in full. One item is counterfeit and the other has never been received. I have sent proof repeatedly. 

     

    Mynt is ignoring facts again. The claim I filed with *** was closed because the recipient can NOT file a claim, only the shipper. The shipper is Mynt. 

    The documents Mynt sent show that *** lost the package and that Mynt filed a claim. Mynt is ignoring that *** admits the item was lost and that the recipient cant file a claim.

     

    Mynt says they havent been paid by LiveAuctioneers. I sent Mynt and have attached proof that I was re-charged on my **** by LiveAuctioneers on 2/1/24. 

     

    I have sent Mynt details and contacts for the counterfeit purse. Scottsdale AZ Ferragamo store - but Mynt is again ignoring the information. Mynt offers a guarantee of authenticity in their terms and conditions but refuses to let me return the items. 

     

    To summarize, I was charged for two items. One was never received and *** admits the item was not delivered. Mynt sent you a copy of their communication with *** dated June 2024 showing *** is processing a claim for Mynt - which Mynt will be paid for. I will NOT be paid because I am the recipient not the shipper. 

     

    I want to return the second item since it is counterfeit but Mynt will not let me despite their guarantee. 

     

    Please let me know how I can reopen and add the documentation again.

    I bought some rare coins via an auction company called "LiveAuctions." Mynt Auctions uses their on-line presence to conduct auctions. After they charged me the $4,184.63, they made it impossible for me to receive the merchandise. They demanded a ******* license (I am a Snowbird) and a utility **** with my name on it. I live in an ** and the ** Park does not charge utilities. I suggested shipping via "Hold for pick-up" at a *** ** facility but they refused. I still don't have the coins or my money three months later. I disputed the charge but they lied to the credit card company. This company is not reputable. Tgey charge 25% Buyer's fee when most other companies charge 15%. Beware.

    The customer requested to change their shipping address after we received payment.  We requested the necessary documentation to approve the address change that aligns with Live Auctioneer's guidelines for Fraud Protection (we never received the necessary documentation).  A Driver's License/Passport/Personal ID is to verify we are working with the right customer.  In the event either of the above forms of ID do NOT have the address listed that the customer wants to ship to, then we request documentation that HAS the address listed:

    We haven't refused to ship the customer's items, we just want to protect the bidder and ourselves under Live Auctioneers fraud protection program. We went as far as requesting Live Auctioneers to approve the shipping address change, but it seems that their processor did not approve it.

    I won a an auction and they sent me only one coin I'm still missing. 2006 W PROOF AMERICAN SILVER EAGLe This has been going on since Nov 2, 2022. I have spoken by cell and email to this supposedly a director named *************** stated that he had to look at some cameras never heard back from them again and now they don't reply to emails anymore.Buyers beware if you had this issue before I would keep away from this site. They are shady they say the ship something and they don't. I would like to get my refund. Because I don't think they even had the coin to begin with.
