      I paid total amount $2219.37 to Air India through two transactions. Tickets were booked for myself and my son. I cancelled these tickets in the month of January 2022, after tickets cancellation, Air India refunded me only $760.42. I have written several emails to Air India customer service on this matter and did not receive any satisfactory response. I have also submitted my complaint through their website feedback form several times on this matter with no luck. Please help me on my remaining refund, I can also accept ticket vouchers of remaining refund amount if Air India prefers that.       I booked a ticket to India through Air India on October 2, 2022. I needed an adjustment on the flight but the booking was not correct. I tried to adjust this online and there was a drop down that said I need to contact customer service.I called 31 times!!!!! and was hung up on 29 calls.I filed a dispute with my credit card for the 2 charges: $1397.33 and $120.16 Someone from Air India wrote BBB that they would refund this but I ONLY received $1253.66 So, the company did not refund me $ ****** I do NOT understand the pettiness and am appalled that this company helped themselves to MY MONEY!!!

      I contacted them multiple times to ask if they could resolve this. They wrote me and said they would get back to me but never did.

      I was charged twice for a ticket to India by Air India. I bought the original ticket online and needed to make a change. I called and the change was incorrect. When I called to speak about the mistake, I was subjected to a series of people that had no command of English. I always pressed the button to ask for an English speaking rep but I got reps that have a very low comprehension of English. If I asked a question and they did not know how to answer, they would hang up. This happened so many times that I started counting - 31 calls in all. I started asking for managers or supervisors when I called and was told they were busy. Some people put me on hold for more than 45 minutes before the call was ended on Air India's side and not mine.When I finally got a supervisor on the telephone he told me the changes were made and I would get a refund. The refund never came. I flew to India on *** and had no issues. All the *** reps spoke perfect English. As I understood, the manager from Air India assured me that I would be receiving a refund for my outbound an I COULD use the return ticket. When I got to ************* to return to the US, I was told 'Sorry, you have no ticket." When I asked about the money I spent already on the ticket, the rep at the ************* shrugged his shoulders and told me, that is not his problem. My ticket is not usable and not refundable because I never called. I called 31 times!!!!! So, I had to buy another ticket to return to the US. So, I paid for 3 tickets for 1 . I sent an email to Air India and got a message saying they would look into it. Then nothing. I would like a refund for the 2 tickets I was charged for that Air India would not refund. I do not even understand WHY they won't refund the ticket when I was told by MULTIPLE people that I would get a refund. Please note ; all the people telling me I would receive a refund had an elementary level of English proficiency. But, I do not think it is fair to steal money from customers.

      Travelled to ************ from ********* on 02/14/2022 with a return ticket on 08/07/2022. The return leg which we had booked was a non-stop flight to ********* from Sanfrancisco. This was changed by Air India to have stop over in ***** without our consent, so we cancelled the return ticket. We requested the refund from Air India for the return leg and we were offered just **** INR. The total cost of the ticket was ****** INR.

      We paid **** to book tickets for India for our daughter *************************. We canceled one day before flight as event was canceled in India. Air India promised and made us file claim via their site for reimbursement of the money minus cancellation charge of 200 dollars. We have been calling continuously and also following their protocol but have not received any money or email from them related to return of money. We need that money asap.

      I flew from ************* to ***********, India by Air India on 14th August and returning on 27th September, 2022. I bought a mileage ticket through United. Ticket No : *************.On 27th September, I checked in two suitcases and had a carryon and laptop back pack as per the united airline rules. Just before boarding the Air India flight in ***** to *************, two officials came to me and chastised me for my carryon. I was forced to pay 5 kg extra baggage before boarding the flight. While I checked in, I was not informed about the special rule of carry on.I had lot of space in my checked in to put my stuff.I was harassed by the ground staff and was forced to pay the 5 kilo extra carryon baggage fee or I was not allowed to board the long 16 hour flight. This sort of harassment is very painful and demeaning to the passenger. I am requesting Air India to refund me the extra carry on baggage fee and remedy the error.I wrote to Air India and got an acknowledgement. Attached is their reply. P.s. ( from the Untied booking) United accepts the following items, per customer to be carried on the aircraft at no charge:- One carry-on bag no more than 45 linear inches or 114 linear centimeters (L+W+H) or 14 inches x 9 inches x 22 inches (22 x 35 x 56cm)- One personal item (such as a shoulder or laptop bag)

      I have booked the Air India ticket to india from an accredited Air ticket agency named ASAP tickets. My flight was on June 23rd and I received an email from Air India offering me a bidding ticket to upgrade my flight from economy to business. So I did entered into the bidding program to upgrade my flight and got the confirmation the next day saying my flight has been upgraded and paid the amount of $2030USD. For mine and my dads tickets it was that much. Then when we went to the airport on the departure date we came to know that we were refused the business flight even after paying that much and the reason was we dont have any seats left my dad and I were so disappointed but didnt take an action against them right away because we were traveling to india for my wedding and we didnt wanna be on anyones mouth for being rude or whatever. However, the supervisor at the front desk at ***** told us that shell make sure we get our refunds as soon as possible but that never happened. Since June of 2022 I am waiting for my refund. Its employees do not know how to handle a complaint. I reached the correct department but that department is asking for boarding pass like I would keep it till today. Please help me get my refund. Its not $20 its a whole $2,030 USD which I have to repay to the my credit card I used when I upgraded my flight. I also filed a report with DOT but they havent gotten back to me and its been 2 weeks. BBB is the last hope. I will upload all supporting documents and screen shots of air India responses to me through my email. Please be considerate towards my request and expedite it as its costing me a lot after loosing $2,030 and not being able to fly business. I have uploaded my itinerary and the proof of upgrade.

      However, the **** ticket agency which I used initially to buy the tickets before upgrading to business class from Air India, has contacted the airlines on behalf of me. But, this business has only responded to them once saying we have transferred the complaint to some accounts upgrading department and youll soon hear back from us I am very sad that neither BBB nor DOT is able to get them to refund my issue even after the evidence has been provided to both. Please do something to get my refund of $2,030 before the end of this month so I can pay my credit card off.

      I travelled from *******, ****** (*** Airport) to *********, India (*** airport) on Jun 22, 2022. My baggage was completely destroyed by the airline and I have filed a complaint on Jun 23 for my baggage being damaged completely at the ********* airport. I was assured that it will be taken care of within 3-5 business days. After 1 month, on Jul 30, I received an email that I will be refunded as soon as the baggage is returned to the Air India counter. Also, it was asked to provide an original invoice for the baggage (invoice attached with this mail - Cost $156.50). It was already agreed by **** that they have received the confirmation. He stated "Further, we have received confirmation from our vendor the baggage is beyond repair". Please check attached email. Even after submitting the baggage to the counter, I am still waiting for the refund for the last 5 months. I am also attaching the confirmation from the airlines that they received the baggage at the counter. Name: *************** *** ****** Please help me get the refund and compensation for all the time I spent in following up with multiple people on the call and had to travel to the Airport thrice with no positive reply.Thanks ******

      I bought airplane ticket through ****** Airlines for a flight from *** to India. I ended up flying with ****** partner airline which is Air India on 16 Oct., 2022 from **********, **** to ********, India. As I arrived to my final destination, Air India agent helped with getting bags based on the Baggage stub provided by ******. When we got home, we noticed that Air India agent gave us a wrong bag. We checked the bag tag number and noticed that tags had correct information but it was applied to someone else's bag (likely happened by ****** agent when they did gate check-in bag). We went back to **************** to talk to Air India counter, and they told us they can't take the wrong bag back and won't open a claim number either because it was ****** Airline that placed wrong tags. The agent said they will call back next day after talking to ****** Airline to identify the next steps. Later in the day, we received an email from another person with whom our bags were switched threatening us that they will file Police report because we had their bag (a bag that Air India agent gave us). How can Air India provide my private information (name, email address) to another customer, which is a big breach in privacy? Also, we tried to gave the bag back to Air India counter in ******** and they refused to take it. We finally got a call from Air India saying they found the bag and can pick it up the following day (2 days after we arrived). During this 2 days, I had no clothes and had to purchase clothes and some basic necessities. When we asked Air India in ******** to open reimbursement claim ticket, they said No because bag tags were wrong and that was ******'s responsibility. Talking to ******, they said it is final carrier's responsibility for baggage issues and reimbursement. Air-India needs to take responsibility for reimbursing ****** rupees (~$150) which I spent to buy clothes and for providing my personal information to another customer.
