On June 14, 2024, at 2:30pm, I went to ***************************** to lease my third car with them. My lease for the 2020 Elantra was up, and I wanted to lease the same gray Elantra, but a 2024 version. My only requests were, that it had heated seats and that it was gray. First they told me that they had no gray Elantras, and when I asked if they could get one from *********, they said it would cost me more money. Then I was told that the Elantra model I had, no longer came with heated seats, and I had to go for the more expensive Elantra. All okay. It was agreed that I would put down $5500, though I did not have to, just to bring down my monthly payments. I put that amount on two credit cards, receipts below. I decided on a Blue Elantra because it was what they had. After paying the $5500, I was told they made a mistake and there was No Blue. Okay. I settled on the Red Elantra. They went through DMV and my insurance and I received my new registration and insurance cards. I then watched them put my plates on the new car, and all was set except to sign some final papers. It was now around 8pm at night, and raining. And, they tell me that I owe an ADDITIONAL $4170.47, (receipt and contract below). I argued that the past two leases never included more than my downpayment. They said it was taxes, etc. You can see below, there is nothing under taxes, listed. At this point, I didn't know what to do. I paid, because I had been there 6hrs.I called the next day, and got **** in Finance, who tried to explain that I had a $4000 Rebate in 2020,I Did Not. About a month later, I called Hyundai Finance, who I pay my monthly payment to, and after 3 people couldn't explain it, they put me through to their customer service ***** and ******* gave me a Case#******** on 7/29/24. On 8/13/24, I got a call from ***** saying that she was calling for *******, and their **** does not handle privately owned dealerships. I want my $4170, refunded to my ***** or put toward future payments.

Prior to my contacting the BBB, Hyundais *****- finance ***** said they could not explain my being charged an additional $4100, and sent me to Hyundais *************  Three different customer service workers said, there is something wrong, that they made me pay $4100 (after I put down $5500 of my own free will). They said it wasnt itemized and they had no idea what it was for, but, when they sent it to their supervisors, I was told that they would not pursue it.
This was my 3rd lease with the same dealer. The New Rochelle dealer tried to tell me I forgot, and that I did pay it before. But, I have copies, and did not forget. Because Im a senior single female, I was taken advantage of. After being there for over 6 hours, the insurance and registration done, and plates transferred, I was forced to pay the additional $4100. I even called the manager of the dealership myself, and no one ever called me back.
The final indignity is that after my mistreatment, they tried to tell me to open a Gmail account so I could give them a good review in Yelp.  Shame on Hyundai for not correcting this. I will NEVER get another Hyundai.

My car has been with hyundai since the April 7th being service because it wouldn't reverse i was told i needed a new transmission which was the reason it wouldnt reverse. i paid for a new transmission Picked up my car April 19th still with the same reverse issue and with noise it didn't have before.i was told to return the car to get serviced and now im being told the issue with the vehicle not being able to reverse was because of the torque converter being unaligned. which is why it wouldn't reverse. They still need to fix it im requesting the work order and notes submitted during the repair if they claim it was fixed i want the refund from the transmission.

We are ********* Hyundai Tucsons (2022). They both needed service (part of the lease contract) so took them to New Rochelle Hyundai. The place didn't even bother to check oil on either car - we just learned, that one of has practically NO oil in it, the other's oil level is low and the oil is a mess. They set the next appointment mileage at their own mercy, they put the wrong inspection month on one of the cars, and they never ordered the parts they were supposed.Total scam artist.
